Reina's P.O.V

"Now that I'm here, you're all right! The hero usually appears late, but right on time!" Naruto shouted.

I sighed at how dense he was sometimes. He had the perfect chance to sneak around the enemies, he could've saved us or taken down one of them. Instead, he makes a big entrance giving out his position to everyone. Great. Naruto made hand signs, in which I recognized to be the Shadow Clone Jutsu. Zabuza threw multiple shurikens at Naruto. I bit my lip knowing that he had no way to dodge them all. They were coming at him too quickly.

"Move out the way Naruto!" Dad shouted.

Zabuza's shurikens were knocked out the way by Haku's senbon needles! 'An enemy, canceling out their own comrades attack? Why?' I pondered in absolute astonishment.

"Haku, what's are you doing?" Zabuza growled.

Haku stood up and looked at Zabuza. "Zabuza, leave him to me." Haku ordered, "Please allow me to fight this battle my way."

"So you mean not interfering, Haku?" Zabuza said, "You're naive as usual."

"I'm sorry..." Haku apologized.

Sasuke tried to stand up, but ended up kneeling in pain. I tossed my arm over his shoulder, holding him in place.

"Careful, Sasuke. My chakra is still healing you." I whispered.

He nodded, and took out a kunai, flinging it in Haku's direction. Haku moved back an inch, dodging the kunai like it was nothing. Sasuke gasped.

"I haven't forgotten about you, or your...friend.." Haku said, glancing at me. "I would rather you had just gone done quietly, but it looks like it won't work out that way. Fine, I'll end this right now."

He walked over to the mirror, "Naruto, I'll get to you later." He said, merging into the mirror.

He appeared in the mirror in front of us, I took out a kunai as did Sasuke.

"I'm over here." Haku's voice said from behind us.

My eyes widened in shock, he was no longer in the mirror I was looking at, but behind me. His form copied itself to the other mirrors, they were all holding senbon needles.

I pushed Sasuke away. "Ahhhh!"I screamed as the senbons pierced my skin.

"Reina!/Sasuke!"

I slumped down, my face in the ground. 'What kind of jutsu is this....how can he be in all those mirrors? This isn't an ordinary Jutsu, this has to be some sort of clan specialty...'

Sasuke ran to my side, he helped me up. "We need Naruto to attack from the outside while we attack from in here. It's the only way." Sasuke whispered to me.

"You're right, but-" I started only to be cut off by-

Naruto?

"Yo! I came to save you two!" Naruto grinned from right next to us, inside the circle of mirrors.

I gawked at him. Why is he in here! This idiot!

"You idiot! If you were a real shinobi, you'd move more cautiously!" Sasuke shouted.

"What's wrong with you?! I came here to save you guys!" Naruto shouted back.

"Naruto! You're inside the mirrors, now you're trapped! How do you expect us to get out now!" I growled out angrily.

"Since it's come to this, all that's left is to smash the mirrors!" Sasuke shouted, making hand signs. "Fire style: Fireball Jutsu!"

He's trying to melt the mirrors! The fire cleared away, not a dent in the mirrors, nothing happened. 'I-It...it didn't work?!' I thought in pure shock, my body trembling at how our plan failed in mere seconds after thinking we could penetrate his defense somewhat.

"Hey, it didn't do anything!" Naruto pointed out.

"They won't melt with that power of firepower." Haku said, throwing more needles.

I gasped and covered my face, "Gah!"

We landed on the floor with a thud. I groaned in pain, Sasuke was healing as my chakra poured into him. Crawling to Naruto, I poked him with my chakra. He would heal too, unlike Sasuke he won't know.

"Where is he attacking from?! Is it clones?!" Naruto shouted, suddenly standing up with more determination than ever. "Where's the real body?!"

I glared at Haku.

"It's useless for you to even attempt following me with your eyes. I will not be caught." Haku stated calmly.

Naruto grunted, "Shadow Clone Jutsu!" He shouted, making the hands signs with such expertise.

"Don't, idiot!" Sasuke shouted.

"Stop, it's useless Naruto!" I shouted at the same time as Sasuke, our shouts overlapping one anothers.

Ignoring us, Naruto's clones lunged at the mirrors and prepared himself to attack Haku head on. "If so, I'll find out which is the real body by hitting them all!" He exclaimed.

All the clones vanished in seconds. They were no match for Haku's skill, he had destroyed them easily.

"This is a teleportation Jutsu that uses mirrors that can only reflect my image." Haku explained, "Watching you from the speed I'm moving at, almost seems like you're not moving at all."

Im-Impossible! He's that fast that were nothing but a blur to him?!

"Darn it! So what!? I can't die here yet! I have to get my village to acknowledge me, my dream! I'm going to be the future Hokage someday!" Naruto yelled.

'Same here, I need to know the reason I'm hated for!'

"For me, becoming a full shinobi is difficult. If I can, I don't want to kill you guys.. And I don't want you guys to kill me. But if you guys are going to be coming at me.. I'll kill me feelings with a sword and become a real shinobi. This bridge is the battleground that connects each of us to our dreams. I, for the sake of my dream. And you, for the sake of your dreams. Please don't hold it against me, I want to protect the person dear to me. I awoke for the sake of that person, I fight for that person, and I want to make that person's dream a reality. That's my dream. For the sake of my dream, I will become a full shinobi and kill you guys!" Haku yelled.

Naruto shouted a battle cry, "Shadow clone jutsu!" He shouted, multiple clones of him appearing.

"Stop!" Sasuke shouted.

Naruto's clones jumped at the mirrors, Haku took the chance to throw senbons at Sasuke and me. I groaned as the senbons pierced my skin, all of the clones vanished in a matter of seconds. Naruto fell to the ground, he groaned at impact.

"What is it?!" He shouted, after receiving no answer he went to using force again. "Shadow clone jutsu!"

"You don't learn do you." Haku sighed softly, seeming to underestimate Naruto and his strength.

More clones appeared, going at the mirrors for the third time. Sasuke ran and kicked some water up in the air. I raised an eyebrow, is he trying to spot Haku's movements? I bit my lip. If only I could be of some help! I mainly use water style jutsu's and that's his advantage, I can't use any jutsu... I grunted as my skin was scratched and cut. I flew back.

Sasuke walked over to Naruto and I. "Naruto, use your shadows clones again. Reina, can you use a water style to distract Haku?" Sasuke asked us, peering at the both of us with a hard, cold gaze.

"Yeah, I have one I can use." I replied back quickly.

"Good, let's go." Sasuke smirked.

Naruto did his clone Jutsu again, the clones distracted Haku.

I made a few hand signs, "Water style: water explosion!" I shouted, water making contact with the mirrors, exploding at impact, a big enough distraction for Sasuke.

"Have you not learned anything!" Haku yelled, coming out of his mirror.

"Fire style: fireball jutsu!" Sasuke flames were dodged, Haku went into another just in time.

Naruto fell back, I caught him and skid across the floor.

I winced, "You o-okay, Naruto?" I asked.

"Yeah, thanks Reina-chan." Naruto said, standing up.

"Damn, we were so close!" Naruto curse under his breath.

"It's all right Naruto, we'll do it next time." I assured.

Sasuke looked over at us. "Can you both move?" He asked, his cuts slowly healing with my chakra.

"Of course I can! I'm perfectly fine!" Naruto shouted.

I nodded, "Same, only bad thing is I won't be able to use my jutsu anymore after this last time." I stated as I checked how much chakra I had left. 10% left.

Sasuke smirked and faced Haku. "Naruto! Run! Run out of her and attack from outside!" Sasuke yelled. "Reina, go run on the other side!"

We nodded. "Okay."

Naruto ran left, I ran right. Haku three me back, grunting I stood back up and ran once again.

"You won't stop me!" I shouted.

All of a sudden Haku was in my face, he kicked me in the ribs, pushing me back to Sasuke.

"Damn...we were so close!" I spat out in pain, wincing and coughing slightly.

"That was good just now." Sasuke nodded in approval, "Were doing it one more time."

"Alright." Naruto and I said.

We started running, in all different directions.

"Reina, use your jutsu!" Sasuke ordered.

"This won't go as you've planned," Haku said.

"Water style: water explosion!" I shouted, the water hitting the mirrors.

"First, I'll get you!" Haku yelled, peering at me.

I felt my heart stop at the moment and I froze in place like an idiot. A few of his senbon needles went through my knee, ankle, hand, wrist, and stomach.

"Ahh!" I screamed in pain.

Despite the fact that these needles were pretty small and thing, they sure packed a punch when they pierced the right part of the body.

"Reina-!"

My back hit the ground with a loud thud, a very loud. That was when a high pitched scream rang out. My eyes widened at the sound. The screams sounded so familiar. That was -- It sounded like Sakura! What happened? Did...did she get hurt?

"S...Sakura..." Naruto muttered, standing up shakily. "I got to do something..."

How can he still stand. I was shocked. This kid, he was really full of surprises.

"This won't go as you planned." Haku warned.

Naruto ran at Haku, he got hot but flipped and ran a different way. Haku followed him through the mirrors, right behind him.

"Naruto, behind you!" We shouted.

Naruto turned around just to get hit straight on by the needles, "Naruto!"

"It's impossible for you to get out of here." Haku stated.

We ran to Naruto, "Are you okay?" We huffed out, "Can you still stand?" We asked.

"Don't use anymore of your chakra, you're falling right into his hands." Sasuke said.

"I-I know..." Naruto muttered, before collapsing.

"Naruto..." I whispered, worry laced in my voice.

"Get up, idiot!" Sasuke ordered.

I helped him up, needles came flying at us, Sasuke pushed us away. I groaned, and tried to stand. My legs failed me, my face fell face first to the ground.

"Reina! Naruto!" Sasuke shouted, grabbing our bodies.

He dropped us gently. I stared at Sasuke. His eyes, he had the Sharingan! He unlocked it now, he'll be able to track Haku!

Sasuke's eyes widened and he ran towards us, he was glancing to the left. Haku was coming to Naruto and I. Sasuke jumped in front of us, he shut his eyes. No, no! I won't let him, anyone, hurt themselves for me! With the last of my strength, I jumped behind Sasuke...taking the blow...

Blood spurted of my mouth, my eyes flew wide open. Sasuke turned around, his eyes wide in shock, disbelief, horror, fear. Naruto opened his eyes, to meet my eyes, that held pain...

"Reina..." Sasuke said.

"Why?" Naruto asked.

I smiled painfully, "I d-don't..want anyone....to s-suffer..because o-of..m-me.." I whispered.

"You protected us?" Naruto asked. "Why?" Sasuke asked, a small glare boring into my face.

I fell forwards, Sasuke caught me. "I g-guess...I do-don't know w-why I did..." I croaked out. "M-Maybe...because...you w-were my f-first r-real friends...th-thank you for being h-here f-for me.."

The lids of my eyes closed slowly, Sasuke and Naruto were telling me to stay awake, to live. But I couldn't, my chakra was low and I was bleeding pretty badly. It's done for me. It's over.

"Reina! Don't you dare fall asleep on me!" Sasuke snapped.

"Reina, please stay awake you were my very first friend! Stay awake for me!" Naruto shouted desperately, his eyes wide.

"G-Gomen...it's o-over...fo-for me...tell my f-family I l-love them...t-tell S-Sakura I'm s-sorry..and y-you...t-two.. I-I l-love..y-you g-guys...g-good...b-bye..." I mumbled, my voice failing me.

My eyes shut closed. I stopped breathing. Everything that kept me alive, stopped and betrayed me. I was dead.

"REINA!!!!"

'N-Naruto..S-Sasuke..S-Sakura..Dad...thank y-you all..for being h-here for me...'

'For being m-my f-family....'

'Its o-over f-for me...'

'I-I l-love y-you g-guys...'

'Y-You m-made..me f-forget..my p-pain..'
