Reina's P.O.V

I walked to the bridge where Dad wanted us to meet early in the morning for some reason, he wasn't at home to tell me gave to face, there was a note on the fridge that's all. Once I arrived, I felt the tension in the air. I sighed, it's Naruto and Sasuke again, isn't it? Ever since we've come back from the Land of Waves, they both have been really strange around each other. They'd glare and scoff at one another, what they usually do, but now it's much often. To put it bluntly, it was very uncomfortable.

"Morning." I said, with a lazy wave.

"Good morning, Reina." Sakura smiled.

I gave her a faint smile back. Also, mine and Sakura's relationship has greatly improved ever since the Land of Waves. I guess my whole 'death' scared her so badly, she finally noticed her true feelings towards me. She actually thought of me as a friend, but on the inside... To be honest, I did too, but I would never show it till now.

"Morning, Sasuke, Naruto." I said.

"Good morning." They said at the same time, ending up white them glaring at each other.

I rubbed my neck, 'Geez, is anything else going to happen? I mean why are they being so cruel to each other? Nonetheless, getting angry when I'm around the other boy.' I thought. Sasuke and Naruto have been getting, well, angry when I'm around the other boy on the team. The other day I was with Naruto eating ramen with him and Sasuke happened to pass by, and when Sasuke saw us together, he didn't talk to me for 2 days straight. Same goes for Naruto when I'm with Sasuke...expect he only lasts 10 minutes.

A few hours passed, with no signs of my Dad, I should've expected this. He is always late...

"Good morning, everyone!" Dad said, appearing on top of the bridge. "Today I got lost on the path of life."

"Liar!" Sakura and Naruto shouted.

"Hey, Kaka-sensei! Our team always has the easy missions lately! Aren't there any more exciting missions where I can be active where I can use my ninja way and my soul?" Naruto shouted, fire burning in his eyes.

"I agree with him, ignoring the last part though." I agreed, lazily.

Dad sweat dropped, "Hai, hai. I understand what you're trying to say.." Dad assured Naruto, putting his hands up defensively.

Naruto turned to Sasuke and started to glare at him, he growled angrily. Glancing at Sasuke I nudged him lightly.

"Hey, Sasuke." I said.

"Hn?" He grunted.

"What's up with you and Naruto? You guys have been acting really weird recently. I not the only one who's noticed either." I stated.

He shrugged his shoulders. "Hn... I don't know." He answered.

"Oh." I mumbled, then grabbed his hand. "Let's go. Dad said we're going in a mission."

A tint of pink covered Sasuke's cheeks, I rose an eyebrow but still continued to drag him by the hand.

"Hey! What're you doing, Naruto? We're going on our mission!" Dad shouted to Naruto, who was glaring at nothing.

"Okay!" Naruto exclaimed.

I was next to Sasuke picking weeds out of some woman's garden, this was the mission Dad was talking about. Another pointless mission like that cat catching one. I sighed and picked a handful of weeds out, placing them in a medium sized pile next to me. A half and hour or so later, we finished. Naruto on the other hand, had a giant pile of weeds and herbs next to him. He chuckled in triumph as he rubbed his nose. 'Those aren't weeds, baka.'

The lady stomped over, "Hey you!" She shouted angrily.

"What?" Naruto asked, completely clueless that she was beyond angry that he pulled out her herbs.

"Oh, Mrs.! I've gotten rid of all the weeds!" Naruto exclaimed, as the woman shook in rage. "Huh? What's wrong?" Naruto asked.

"Those...those aren't weeds!" She hissed. "Those are herds I grew in my garden!" She shouted, before punching Naruto.

Something took over me, I pulled Naruto away from her and apologized for him. Sighing, I scolded him myself basically telling him to be careful next time.

With the tweezers in my hand, I reached into the water and pulled out a can. I threw it to the basket on my back filled with other garbage and such. Once again, another job that anyone could do but yet none ever do! It's picking in trash from the lake.

"Aaahh!"

I turned just in time to see Naruto slip, the water taking him away.

"Somebody, help me!" He yelled for help.

The current took him farther till he was at the edge by a waterfall. I glanced at Sasuke, he nodded. Reaching into my kunai punch I happened to bring with me to this mission, I pulled out some rope, tossing it to Sasuke.

"No way! A waterfall?" Naruto shouted, falling off the edge.

Sasuke ran over, tossed the rope on a tree branch securely wrapping it around the branch. He jumped down. Sakura and I ran over, Sasuke held Naruto safely by the ankle. I smiled, 'he's safe, good job Sasuke '.

"You idiot." Sasuke told Naruto, glaring down at him.

The small dog on my leash walked around, sniffing trees occasionally. It was a plain white dog with curly fur, it was cute. Sasuke and Sakura each had a few small or medium sized dogs, Naruto wanting to be better than Sasuke took the biggest dog. One he couldn't handle, at the moment. The dog was dragging Naruto to a minefield that happened to be close by.

"No, stop it! Don't go there!" Naruto shouted helplessly, the dog overpowering him as he was dragged.

I stayed back with Sasuke and Sakura.

"That idiot." Sasuke muttered.

"Oh no! That's because he wanted the biggest dog out of all the others." Sakura stated, her eye twitching slightly.

"I have to agree with you both. Couldn't he just pick a small dog? What's he even trying to prove?" I sighed, shaking my head.

Naruto was officially dragged all the way into the minefield, explosions ringing out not to long after. My eyes were wide in slight shock at how many explosions went off. Naruto came back out, the dog was unharmed, but...he was burnt...

We all sighed and shared the same thought. 'Baka!'.

"It's because you're so reckless!" Sakura stated, supporting Naruto by having one of his arms tossed over her shoulder.

Sasuke smirked. "Jeez, you are so much trouble. Dobe." Sasuke said, Naruto's other arm over his shoulder.

Sadly, I couldn't help at all, Sasuke and Sakura saying I was to short or what Sasuke said, 'I'll do it, just stay away from dobe.' Didn't really matter much to me, I did feel a little left out though. But, my suspicions are growing for Sasuke, why won't he let me go close to Naruto at all now? Sighing I massaged the bridge of my nose, 'I really don't care. Those two can keep in doing they're stupid dueling they do'. Naruto growled and shook both of them off him, he clenched his hands and launched forward at Sasuke.

"Sasuke!" Naruto growled.

Sakura stopped him by putting her arm in front of him, stopping him from going any further.

"If you touch him, I'll finish you!" Sakura warned, pure evil laced in her words.

Sasuke grabbed my hand, dragging me ahead with him. The others staying behind.

"Sasuke.." I whispered confused.

I heard Dad sigh, "Teamwork hasn't been good lately.." He pointed out the obvious.

Of course it has! Sasuke and Naruto have this feud going in between them, Naruto has mainly been competing to be 'better' than Sasuke. This little thing between them, has been bringing the whole team down. Sakura and I can't do anything but watch from the sidelines most of the time.

Glancing behind me, I saw Naruto wave a fist at Sasuke's back. "Asked, you're to blame for this poor teamwork!" Naruto shouted. "You're always attracting attention!"

Sasuke scoffed from beside me. "That's you, idiot." Sasuke stated. "If you don't want to owe me big time...."

"You just need to become stronger than me." Sasuke said, glancing over his shoulder with a glare.

Naruto and Sasuke glared at each other, Sakura and I watched. This is getting worse each minute they stay close to one another.

I tugged on Sasuke's arm, "Sasuke, forget about it. It's not worth it..." I whispered.

He glanced at me for a second, then looked back at Naruto. I narrowed my eyes brows at him, why must he be so stubborn?

"Well, maybe we should disperse." Dad suggested. "I do need to submit a report about this mission."

"Then I'm going home." Sasuke said, hesitating before letting my hand go and walking away.

Sakura ran over to him. "Sasuke, wait for me!" She shouted, blushing madly she stopped. "Eh, how about..- Why don't you and-...Why don't we work on improving our teamwork together?" Sakura asked, giggling.

Sasuke glared. "You're just like Naruto." He said. "If you have time to spend on me, why don't you go practice some Jutsu? To tell you frankly, your abilities are worse than Naruto's."

After that, he just walked away leaving Sakura to soak up his words and sulk. I hate to admit it, but Sasuke was true. Sakura is always obsessing over Sasuke during missions and when we don't even have one, if she were to use up that time property she could be getting stronger. Doing other things and such, like training. A few small explosions rang out close by, knocking out my thoughts. I coughed, there was smoke in the air making me have some trouble breathing.

"Hey! That's too much gunpowder!" A kid like voice shouted, coughing at the end.

Gunpowder?! Who would have gunpowder?! The smoke cleared, I opened my eyes to see three kids on the floor next to Naruto. Two boys, one girl.

The girl stood up. "With adult sexiness. I'm Moegi of the senior class, at the academy!" A small girl with orange hair in two high point tails shouted, introducing herself with a pose.

"I love reading! Udon!" A boy with straight black hair shouted, a booger hanging out his nose.

"The most brilliant ninja in the village! Konohamaru!" A with gravity defying hair grinned, striking a pose. "The three of us together are the Konohamaru Gang!"

Naruto placed his hands behind his head, "I knew it was you guys.." Naruto said. "Why are you all wearing goggles?"

Konohamaru grinned and tugged in his goggles. "Were just copying what you used to do, Naruto-nii-chan!" He grinned.

"Oh.." Naruto muttered, uninterested.

"What's with the oh?! Your reactions have been pretty cold recently!" Konohamaru said.

"So, did you want something?" Naruto asked.

A yawn escaped my mouth, it was tiring being here doing nothing. I wanted to train, take a nap, or better yet, to go out to eat ramen with Naruto.

"You've been busier than I thought, Naruto-nii-chan!" Konohamaru mused loudly, bringing me out of my thoughts.

Naruto raised an eyebrow in confusion, so did I.

"Is she your..." Konohamaru trailed off, raising his pinky.

My eyes widened, Sakura? Naruto's girlfriend? I growled quietly, then shook my head. Naruto doesn't like her anymore...right? I snarled, what am I even thinking?! Of course he likes her...he stares at her dreamily like she stares at Sasuke.

Naruto grinned. "Geez, you guys are really sharp for kids!" Naruto said.

Konohamaru frowned and glanced at me then to Naruto. I grunted and turned away from his gaze right as Sakura punched Naruto across the face.

"No way!"

He crashed into a fence behind him, Sakura panted while glaring at Naruto. Konohamaru stomped over to Sakura with a glare. 'I wouldn't get close to her kid, she'll hurt you like she did to him..' I thought with a small smirk in my face.

"What are you doing!?" He asked, dumbfounded.

The other two kids ran over to Naruto aid, checking his pulse and such.

"You ugly wench! Ugly wench!" Konohamaru yelled.

Sakura growled and cracked her knuckles, walking over to Konohamaru.

"No...! Gahhhhhhhhh!"

After the beating Konohamaru and Naruto received from Sakura, the brat couldn't bite his tongue just for a second. I had to say, if he was this dumb, he's just going to get beat like this from many girls, not just Sakura.

"Damn that broad-fore-headed ugly wench! Is she a girl for real?!" He asked.

"You idiot!" I hissed, gaining his attention.

I glared at him sharply, making him wince at the deadliness it held, sighing I pinched the bridge of my nose. Sakura turned around deadly slowly, she glared at us madly.

"Damn brat couldn't keep his mouth shut." I muttered under my breath coldly.

Sakura ran over, my eyes widened in slight fear. I turned to Konohamaru and bent down to his height, it was low enough for him to hop on my back. He gave me a questioning look.

"Hop on my back if you want to live." I said coldly, gesturing my thumb to Sakura. "Choose."

He gulped and hesitantly hopped on my back, quivering in fear from Sakura's rage radiating off her. I began to run, his weight and my height not fitting well, slowed me down a little bit since we were almost the same height.... 'I can't believe I'm doing such a thing to this brat, he better be happy I'm helping him..' I thought sourly, glancing at the brat. Accidentally bumping into someone taller, much taller, I flew a little far back. You could say a, 'motherly instinct', took over my body at the moment. I grabbed Konohamaru from my back and tossed him to Naruto who caught him easily and, just in time. A hand grabbed my collar roughly, lifting me off the ground, my legs squirming uselessly.

Cat looking, wears purple make-up, black clothing....a joke is what he looked like. A smirk made it's way to my lips, my captor seeing it shook me harshly. Glaring at my captor with deadly eyes, I made him flinch, he replaced his fear with a cocky smirk.

"That hurt.." He stated.

I spit in his face. "I bet it did." I muttered.

He squeezed my throat, causing me to wheeze and cough uncontrollably.

"Reina-chan!/Reina!"

"You little brat." He muttered squeezing my throat harder.

The girl next to him glanced at me then away. "Stop that. You'll only get yelled at later..." She warned.

"I'm sorry, I was fooling around." Sakura apologized, trying her best to get me out of this situation she caused.

'No, Sakura...don't apologize to the enemy...' I thought with my teeth clenched tightly.

"Hey stop it! Put her down!" I could hear Naruto yell.

"Naruto..." I muttered quietly, my aura changed completely. "Let me go you damned cat!" I snarled, flailing my legs around, hoping it hit him hard enough that he would put me down.

A grunt passed his lips, showing I had aimed correctly.

He smirked. "Your pretty lovely, best. Let's play with them before you know, he comes around." Catboy said.

"Damn you!" Naruto yelled angrily,

Naruto being himself probably charged at cat-boy, cat-boy's fingers twitched, faint blue strings were at the tip of his fingers. My eyes widened in realization, he was most likely a puppet user, he uses chakra strings! A thud came from behind me, Naruto shouted in annoyance. Catboy must have made Naruto fall somehow with his chakra strings.

"Leaf Village Genin are weaker than I thought, how disappointing." Catboy stated.

Scowling as Cat-boy examined my face, the rage in my stomach only bubbled even further.

"You know, you're not too bad looking, actually, you're pretty hot." Catboy observed, smirking. "Why don't we make a deal? I'll let you go if you...kiss me."

I almost throw up right there in my mouth. This had to be a joke, right? He wanted me to...kiss him? Laughter made it's way to my throat seeing as I was not being able to hold it in any longer, I let it out.

"You sure are an idiot, you really think I would kiss you of all people?" I laughed at him. "Would you like to humor me even more, Catboy?"

Catboy growled. "Just because I said you were hot, doesn't mean I won't hurt you, brat!" He spat, his fist coming at me.

He drew his fist backback, blood splattered in the air and my body fell to the ground with a loud thud. Damn, he let's me go but I end up getting hurt somewhat still? A pebble bounced against the ground, it had a small sign of blood on it. 'That's what made Catboy drop me to the ground pretty roughly? But...who threw the peddle..?'

"What do you think you're doing in someone else's village?"

"Sasuke!!" Sakura squealed in happiness.

Oh, Sasuke happened to appear after all.

"Another little punk to piss me off." Catboy hissed.

Sasuke crushed a pebbled that was in his hand into dust. Sakura, Moegi, and even Udon squealed.

"Hey, come down here, punk!" Catboy shouted up at Sasuke. "You're the kind of punk I happen to despise the most."

Sasuke jumped down but by my side, he stuck out a hand for me. Taking his hand he lifted me off the ground with ease.

"Thanks, Sasuke." I thanked him.

He smirked, "Hn...looked like you were in need of help." He stated.

I scoffed even when I knew Sasuke was right, the situation was bad enough that I needed help, what else would I be able to do when I was against a guy who was way taller than me? A huge, dangerous, sadist, chakra popped up. I looked over at a tree, a red head hung upside down in the shadows of the tree.

"Kankuro, stop that." The redhead ordered, his voice cold as ice. "You're an embarrassment to our village."

"G-Gaara.." Catboy muttered, fear coating his words.

Gaara...

"Why do you think we came here all the way to this Leaf Village?" Gaara asked coldly.

"P-Please listen to me!" Catboy pleaded. "T-They lashed out first!"

"Shut up....I'll kill you." Gaara threatened.

"Understood, I-I was wrong. I'm sorry, I r-really am." Catboy apologized.

"I'm sorry about that.." Gaara apologized emotionally, glancing at my team.

His eyes met mine, what shocked me was all feel is he held deep within them, those feelings only some were able to understand and feel. Sadness, loneliness, hatred, pain.... Ones I have felt before, and still happen to feel. Now that I look at him closer and closely, he reminds me of a panda... The dark bags surrounding his eyes, signs of his lack of sleep.

The stuffed animal in my room I got when I was younger with Dad...
