Ash curls up on the ground, his eyes closed from hunger pains. My stomach growls, making me groan and flop my head back onto Ash's body. The little girl, still having an unknown name for me, rubs her stomach, looking to the fire with sad and despaired eyes. After a long silence, the wind picks up and crashes into the mountain, making loud howling sounds.

"I'm hungry..." The girl says, crawling up to me and laying on my chest.

Hosently, she's small enough to where she could just sleep on my stomach if she was curled into a ball.

"Me too, uh," I stop my sentence, looking down to her, "what's your name?"

She looks up to me, her large brown eyes staring into my black ones.

"My name," she thinks for a moment, seeming less trusting with me, "My name is Molly. Molly Easton."

"Well, we should get sleep," I squirm slightly, uncomfortable with the little girl, Molly, on me, "we can go hunting tomorrow."

"Yay!" She cheers, getting off me.

She crawls on the opposite side of Ash, like she's in a different room. I chuckle, closing my eyes. I hear small snoring coming from Molly, then heavy ones from Ash. I smile, and fall asleep.

Aphmau gasps, hugging me tightly. I hug her back, her tears falling onto my jacket.

"Aaron! Oh my Irene, your back!" She laughs and cries, her tight hug suffocating my thin, weak body.

"Aph, I missed you so much!" I cry, my hug beginning to get tighter.

We hug for a moment until I pull away, seeing her face flat and her expression blank.

"Aphmau?" I ask, shaking my hand in her face.

Her figure slowly fades away, blowing away in the wind.

"I love you." The words echo through my head, my legs failing out.

I fall to the hard stone ground, everything around me fading away into dust.

"Aphmau! No!" I yell to the world, it echoing intensely throughout my head.

I awaken from my terrible slumber, seeing everything normal. I turn to see Molly still sound asleep in Ash's large neck crevice. I get up, seeing the red, burning coals of the fire. I take leftover kindling and dried grass, sprinkling it into the fire. It slightly sizzles, living again. I get off the ground completely, walking out to the entrance. A frozen wind blows me down to the floor, catching me off-guard. I grunt quietly, trying not to awaken Molly. A pain itches in my palms, making my eyes shut tightly. I pull my hands from the ground and see my palms red. Blood. I growl deeply, looking to what pushed me down. Snow. A butt-load of snow.

"No..." I doubt quietly, getting away from the winter wind.

The snow is piled up a few feet in front of my door, snowed in. Snowed in, no food, and we're all starving. I hear small groans come from a gentle voice, my attention drawn to the sound.

"Aaron," Molly squeaks, her head popping up from Ash's large sleeping body, "i-it's really cold in here..."

"I know, I know...just, sit by the fire and stay warm," I take of my jacket, her seeing to have no care for me without it, "here. Wear this."

"But, it's yours. You'll be cold!" She shakes her head, shooting the jacket away.

"Take it. I insist." I throw it to her, it landing in front of her.

She sighs, putting it on. Shivering, I walk back to the entrance. The wind knocks me back to the ground. I grunt again, bringing the attention of Molly to me.

"Oh my Irene, are you okay?!" She jumps up and runs to me.

"No, no! Stay back over there!" I get up and crawl out of the wind, getting her away from it.

She'll be badly injured from that if I got injured myself... I think to myself.

She looks to my palms, her eyes enlarging.

"I-i-is that," she stammers, her face paling out, "blood?!?!"

She passes out on the spot, falling onto Ash. He jumps from his slumber, looking to the small girl knocked out on top of him. I kneel down to her and sit down, placing my hand on her forehead. Normal. I grab my guitar and sit on the wall on the fire. I strum my guitar and tune it. I play the tune of Eternity from the game where me and Aphmau met.

I pace around the room, hugging my stomach tightly. Molly groans, holding her stomach. Ash whines, a loud grumble coming from his stomach.

We're all starving...just, great.

Dude, feed yourself NOW! I hurt so, so bad! Ugh, I think I may just bail out...

Hey, you hurting is called a 'headache'! So, just...keep it together, Brain!

"Thinking to yourself and Mr. Brain?" Molly smiles, speaking through her hunger.

"You seem perky for being so hungry..." I forget her question, smiling.

"I always see a light in the darkness," She says, her eyes sparking with joy, "if I asked you a question, would you answer it?"

"As long as it doesn't make me embarrassed." I smile.

"Who are you?" She asks, her eyes staring into mine.

"What do you mean?" I tilt my head in confusion, not knowing what she means.

"Like, who were you before you came here? What was your life before this?" She falls on her back purposly, looking at me upside down.

"Well," I sigh, holding back all my emotions, "I used to live on a great street...I lived with my girlfriend, Aphmau..."

My eyes flashback as I continue explaining, showing the great moment the two of us had together.

"I knew her since middle school, and ever since we met, we've never been apart...we lived on a great street, and we left for vacation...on our last days there, I asked her to move in with me. She said yes, and when we got back home...it exploded," I chuckle, "we had to move into another town, and me and Aphmau lived there. After about half a year of us living togther, I got the confidence to ask her to marry me...that night before I wanted to tell her, I went to bed...so exited for the next day. Then, I find myself here. Out in the wilderness. All I wanted was us, us to be together...and now, I'm out here in who knows where..."

My vision flashes back to Molly, seeing her with tears flooding to the floor. I feel my face and feel wetness on myself.

"I love her, Molly...and I want to go back," my voice cracks, "I just want to go home...!"

She hugs me, her wet face laying against my body. I sob, the emotion draining out of me.

I'll never see my family again...
