Home: Aaron (PT. 4 END) × Seventeen
It has been 5 months since I've come back from the hospital. I've had many seizures and 'pain attacks', but everything is just fine...I think. Aphmau and I have been caught up on everything that's happened. I missed her so much! I-
I look up to the sound of a door opening. I close my book, 'diary', and slip it in my desk drawer quickly.
"Hey, babe." I get out of the chair and walk up to her.
"Hey, Aaron" She smiles, hugging me lightly, "what's up?"
"Just...reading." I lie, my lips curving into smirk.
"Oh, really? What are you reading?" She chuckles, pulling me to our bed.
We sit down on it, facing each other on the red blanketed bed.
"How To Be A," I think for a random book title, "Nerd 101."
She laughs, making me laugh along. We laugh for a moment before we stop, us both smiling brightly.
"I've never heard of that book!" She giggles, grabbing something from the bedside.
She pulls out my guitar, shoving it to me. I smile, shifting it into my arms.
"Sing me a song?" She gives me large puppy eyes.
"Fine, fine," I smile, strumming my guitar to a tune, "you asked for my singing, so don't go telling me off."
"Just play already!" She giggles, flopping down on the bed.
"...When I look into your eyes
It's like watching the night sky
Or a beautiful sunrise
There's so much they hold
And just like them old stars
I see that you've come so far
To be right where you are
How old is your soul?
Well I won't give up on us, even if the skies get rough
I'm giving you all my love, I'm still looking up
And when you're needing your space, to do some navigating
I'll be here patiently waiting, to see what you find
'Cause even the stars they burn
Some even fall to the earth
We've got a lot to learn
God knows we're worth it
No, I won't give up
I don't wanna be someone who walks away so easily
I'm here to stay and make the difference that I can make
Our differences they do a lot to teach us how to use
The tools and gifts we got yeah, we got a lot at stake
And in the end, you're still my friend at least we did intend
For us to work we didn't break, we didn't burn
We had to learn how to bend without the world caving in
I had to learn what I've got, and what I'm not and who I am
I won't give up on us, even if the skies get rough
I'm giving you all my love
I'm still looking up, still looking up
I won't give up on us
God knows I'm tough enough
We've got a lot to learn
God knows we're worth it
I won't give up on us, even if the skies get rough
I'm giving you all my love, I'm still looking up..."
She smiles and claps gently, wrapping her arms around my neck, dragging me down to the bed. I wrap my arms around her back and lay my lips on her forehead, a smile on my face.
"What have you really been doing up here?" Aphmau's legs tangle with mine.
"Nothing." I quickly reply, embarrassed from the fact that I have a 'diary'.
"That's nice," she says calmly, shifting her head to face me, "I missed you."
"I did too, babe." I use one of my hands to play with her hair.
She smiles and rolls over on her side, my arms wrapping around her stomach. She huffs out a laugh quietly, snuggling herself in my curved stomach.
"Aaron, I've been thinking..." She says after a small period of silence, placing her hands on mine.
"Is it personal?" I ask, closing my eyes to keep me from drowning in my thoughts.
"No...well, it is really only supposed to be between you and me, no one else." She turns to me, clasping her hands together.
"I cross my heart that I won't tell anybody." I wrap my arms around her once again, bringing her up to my height in the bed.
"Okay...I trust you," she nods, snuggling into me, "have you ever thought of being a parent?"
My eyes widen, and I look down to my girlfriend confused. She looks up at me, her eyes filled with curiosity.
"When I was a kid," a begun summarizing a childhood story, "I'd practically dad Melissa around, even though she was older. I was a strange child..."
"But, now?" She asks, making me slightly nervous to answer.
"N-not really, no," I shake my head, pulling her into my arms, "why do you even ask?"
"Well," she let's out a cynical laugh, "I sort of...maybe...am-"
"You're pregnant," I jump back, cutting her off with a screech, "but how?! You aren't- you haven't- we haven't- I-"
She jumps on top of me, placing her hands on my mouth. She shushes me, shaking her head. I sigh, pushing her off me and hugging her.
I-is this really happening?
Si, Señor Lycan.
I growl, my eyes darting to my forehead. Aphmau plants her lips on mine, making me shock to reality. She pulls back, laying her head on my chest.
"Night, Aaron." She says softly, slowly falling asleep.
I mess with her hair, slowly falling asleep. My vision blacks out from the corners of my eyes, slowly blacking out to a blank sleep.
Is Aaron home? Is Aphmau pregnant? Is this the end of the book? Will there be a part 2? Will I stop asking questions? Stay tuned in for the next chapter! Love y'all!
