Third Person's POV

Brody, Sora, Donald and Goofy where walking down a path with nothing but grass and trees all around, the group was looking for their friends Riku and Mickey after they sealed the door to kingdom hearts and defeated Ansem. The group soon saw Pluto walk by with a letter with Mickey's seal on it and when asked if he has seen Mickey, Pluto runs off ahead the path the group was in and they followed him.

Eventually night arrived and the group had fallen asleep but Sora and Brody suddenly wake up and look at the path when suddenly "Along the road ahead lies something you need" A man wearing a black coat said and Sora and Brody look at him "However-in order to claim it you must lose something that is dear to you" He said and disappeared.

Soon enough the group find themselves outside a castle. A castle Brody recognises.

Brody's POV

I couldn't believe what I was seeing. We were infront of Land of Departure or well, what it looks like now after Aqua changed it like how the Master taught us 'If I had the Master's keyblade I could change it back to normal but Aqua has it' I thought 'But maybe if I find Ven he'll wake up now' I thought and without saying anything I run to the door and open it going inside, Sora, Donald and Goofy following after me.

"Hey, ya think it's ok to barge in?" Goofy asks "But we gotta do it, if we're gonna find the king..." Donald said "The King?! King Mickey's here?" Goofy asks "Something just told me he'd be here, ok?" Donald asks "Really? 'Cause now that ya mention it, I was kinda thinkin' the same thing" Goofy said "Seriously? Me too! One look at this castle, and I just knew" Sora said 'I didn't think of Mickey when I saw this place though' I thought "Our very beat friends-they're here" Sora said "Guess great minds think alike" Goofy said "Wait, hey, hold on!" Jiminy said standing o Sora's shoulder "It can't be just a coincidence!" He said "Oh, no, Jiminy. Ya don't mean that-" Donald said "Yep, I had it too, mm-hmm! I had the exact same feeling" Jiminy said "Gawrsh, maybe it's contagious" Goofy said "No, no. Something's screwy. We gotta go take a look" Donald said "All right" I said starting to walk ahead and Sora followed "Wak! Where are you going?!" Donald asks making us stop "That way. To the door" I said "Are ya scared?" Sora asks "Aw, don't be ridiculous! Come on, let's go, Goofy!" Donald said "Hey, fellahs, shouldn't we shut the door behind us before we go?" Goofy asks and looks "Sora! Brody!" He said and we look to see the man in the black coat at the door closing it behind him "That's it! Who are you?" I ask summoning my keyblade and Sora does the same while Donald and Goofy summon their weapons and the man walks towards us "Wak! Heartless! Oh yeah? I'll try some magic!" Donald said "THUNDER!" He said but nothing happened? "Huh? Come on. THUNDER! THUNDER!" Donald said but still nothing happened "Come on... Blizzard? FIRE!" He said and nothing happened "Why isn't it working?" He asks as the man stops "I should think it's obvious" The man said "The moment you set foot in this castle, you forgot every spell and every ability you ever knew" He said "What?" I asked confused 'But that's no t how....' I thought "In this place, to find is to lose, and to lose is to find" The man said "That is the way in Castle Oblivion" He said "Castle Oblivion?" I ask and the man disappears in a dark portal suprising us showing up behind us "Here you will meet people that you have known in the past" The man said "And you will meet people you miss" He said "We miss?" Sora asks "Riku! You mean Riku's here?!" He asks "If what you want.....is to find him...." The man said extending his hand using wind with petals pushing Sora and I as he goes through us and we try to hit him but he disappears in pink rose petals and appears infront of a door "What'd you do?!" I asked "I merely sampled your memories" The man said "And from them, I made this" He said holding a card "To reunite with those you hold dear--" He said throwing it at me and I catch it "A card?" I ask "It is a promise for the reunion you seek" The man said "Hold the card to open the door. And beyond it, a new world" He said "Proceed, Bridy and Sora" He said "To lose and claim anew, or to claim anew only to lose..." He said disappearing in a portal "C'mon- let's go" I said walking to the door and I hold the card up and it vanishes from my card and the door opens and we go inside.

"No way..." I said in disbelief "This can't be right..." Sora said in disbelief "We're in Traverse Town!" Sora and I said at the same time "What you see isn't real" The man said behind us and then appears infront of us "This town is an illusion created by your memories ingrained in that card" He said "Our memories?" Sora asks and Jiminy jumps from Sora's jacket to the floor "Forget about that, Sora and Brody! We lost Donald and Goofy!" Jiminy said and we looked around to see its true "Donald? Goofy?" I ask "Guys, where are you?" Sora asks "What did you do with them?!" He asks the man "They are at the mercy of the cards now" The man said "Master the cards, and their strenght will be yours again" He said.

*One boring tutorial later*

After his explanation, Donald and Goofy run up behind us in the outfits they have when we first met "Are you two all right?" I asked "Where have you been?" Sora asks "You two tell us! When you opened the door, we saw a strange light-" Donald said "....and the rest is just...blank" He said "Gee, that doesn't help" Jiminy said "Try to remember what happened. I have to keep my journal up to date" He said "Hey, Donald, where'd I get new clothes?" Goofy asks "Wak?! Me too, Goofy!" Donald said "Somebody's been messing with our clothes!" He said "Could it be the cards again?" I asked the man "That is for you to ponder" The man said "Master the cards and make your way through the castle. But from here, you walk alone" The man said "Alone?! We can't let Sora and Brody alone!" Goofy said "Yeah! Sora can't do anything without our help!" Donald said "I remember we had to fight Ansem alone' I thought "Thanks a lot, Donald" Sora said "You sure you two will be okay?" Goofy asks "Of course!" Sora said "You want us to go alone? Fine" I said "We can take care of ourselves" Sora said "Hmph, the heroes speak boldly. Go, then. The rest of Castle Oblivion awaits" The man said "Walk the avenues of latent memory, and you shall meet someone dear to you" He said vanishing "I've got a bad feeling about this..." Jiminy said "Relax, Jiminy. Brody and I are ready for any tricks he's got up his sleeve" Sora said "How hard can it be to figure out these cards?" He asks "All we have to do is use one in front of that door over there" I said.

*Some rooms later*

We sokn arrived to the third district "Hmm, fighting alone isn't as easy as I thought..." Sora said and suddenly Donald and Goofy show up behind us startling us "Aah!" Sora said "Don't pop out of nowhere like that!" I said "Hey, it's not our fault! We don't know what's going on!" Donald said "A-hyuck?!" Goofy said and Sora and I look behind us to see Pluto "Pluto?!" Sora asks "Things keep getting stranger. What's Pluto doing here?!" Donald asks "There's nothing strange about that. We came to Traverse Town with Pluto, didn't we?" Goofy asks "Did we?" Donald asks "No, wait!" Jiminy said "According to my journal, it was before you met Sora and Brody that you came to town with Pluto!" Jiminy said "Wak! He's right!" Donald said "We were chasing after Pluto, and that's how we ended up in Castle Oblivion!" He said "But aren't we in Traverse Town?" Goofy asks "Well, it's not really Traverse Town" Jiminy said "I think the card created this Traverse Town inside Castle Oblivion!" He said "Aaghh! Who cares about all that? It's too confusing!" Sora said "I don't know where we are, but let's just keep moving forward defeating Heartless! We'll get somewhere!" He said "You'd better be careful, or it's the heartless that are going to defeat you" We heard Leon said and we look behind us to see it is him "Leon, it's you! What are you doing in Castle Oblivion?" Sora asks "Castle Oblivion? What are you talking about?" Leon asks "This is Traverse Town" He said "And how do you know my name? Who are you?" He asks "I've never met the likes of you before" He said suprising us "Quit playing Leon! We all fought the Heartless together! You know that!" Sora said "Look, I don't know what you're talking about" Leon said "I don't even know your names" He said "You don't?" I asked "...Sorry" Leon said "I can't believe it. How can you have forgotten about us?" Sora asks "I feel for you, but you've got the wrong guy. Happens all the time. Don't take it so personally, Brody and Sora" Leon said "I thought you DIDN'T know our names" I said confused "Now, now hold on! Why do I know your names?" Leon asks "You think Leon's kidding around?" Goofy asks Donald "If he is, it's not funny. Sora's really upset" Donald said "Who's kidding around, Goofy? You and Donald are the ones who-" Leon said and stops midsentence "I don't get it... Something's wrong with my memory" He said "What's happening here?" He asks "I dunno, Leon. Maybe Aerith eas onto something after all" Yuffie said walking over "She said she sensed some uncanny kind of power" She said "And asked us to look into it" She said "Well, this is as uncanny as it gets" She said "Maybe you should take Sora and Brody to Aerith" She said "Yuffie, you know our names!" Sora said "Yep! Looks like you know mine, too" Yuffie said "You know them?" Leon asks "Nope! Total strangers. But I definitely know their names" Yuffie said "Strange, yes, but convenient! We can skip the introductions" She said "How is it that you can accept this situation so easily? I don't get you..." Leon said "Well, I'm gonna run ahead and fill Aerith in. Leon, you give them the grand tour" Yuffie said "See ya later!" She said walking off with Pluto "I guess it's no use pondering over it. Come on, follow me" Leon said.

*Later at a house*

"Aerith, have you forgotten me and Brody, too?" Sora asks "I don't know wheter to say 'nice to meet you' or 'good to see you again'" Aerith said "I don't think I know you two, but I still feel like you two belong here" She said "Yeah, exactly! Like we've never met, but it still doesn't feel weird knowing your names" Yuffie said "But we're telling you, we HAVE met" Sora said "We took on the Heartless together" I said "We were a team!" Sora said "It feels like you're right...But I can't remember" Leon said "Then I guess you won't remember what you told us in Hollow Bastion when we sealed the keyhole" I said "We may never meet again..." Sora said "...but we'll never forget each other" Leon finished "See, you do remember!" I said "He's right Leon! I remember you saying that, too" Yuffie said "I guess I can't write it off as a coincidence, then" Leon said "I don't have any memory of it, but somehow I still remember. I think your heart is doing the remembering for us" Aerith said "Our....hearts?" Sora asks "We don't know you, Brody and Sora, but your hearts are full of memories of us together" Aerith said "Those memories must resonate in our hearts, too. Maybe they tell us things we couldn't otherwise know" She said "So you're saying that Sora and Brody's memories are affecting ours?" Leon asks "Their memories do seem to have a certain power" Aerith said "Maybe it's like that guy said, then. This town is just an illusion. Something our memories created" I said "And...there's someone special to you two in this town?" Aerith asks "How did you-Ah, I get it. Our memories are resonating with yours, telling you what happened" Sora said "Yeah. A friend of ours is somewhere in this town-I mean, Castle Oblivion" He said "Castle Oblivion? What's that? There aren't any castles in here" Yuffie said "That's not quite what we mean" I said "You're still not sure what's going on yourselves. Right?" Aerith asks "Right. We just got here, after all. We want to take a better look around" Sora said "Then go have a walk around town. There are Heartless, but that's no problem for you" Leon said "So you know we can fight?" I asked "I can't say I know, but I feel like believing you. Let's leave it at that" Leon said and we nodded and left.

*Later at the First District*

When we arrived to the first district we ran into Cid "Well, whaddaya know? It's Brody and Sora" Cid said "Wait, what am I saying? I don't know you both" He said "But you do LOOK like a Brody and Sora..." He said "It's okay, Cid. Those are our names" I said "So! You two have heard of me, eh?" Cid asks "Well, I can't say as I'm suprised" He said "Anyway, maybe you can help me out. A friend of ours' supposed to be somewhere in this castle-er, town" Sora said "Got any ideas?" I asked "Your friend, huh? Lately all this town sees is Heartless. Can't even take two steps without gettin' attacked" Cid said "This plaza's the worst" He said "Word is, a jumbo-sized heartless shows up when that bell rings" He said "If you value your hide, you'll get outta here while the gettin's good" He said and leaves "Gawrsh, maybe we should have" Goofy said "Don't you want to see the heartless?" Sora asks "NO, we DON'T!" Donald said and just then the bell starts ringing "The bell!" Donald said "Watch out Brody and Sora!" Goofy said and then the guard armor appears and we get ready to fight.

*After the fight*

"So your friend wasn't here?" Yuffie asks as she, Leon, Cid and Aerith walk over "No, I don't think We'll find himnin this town" I said "But he's somewhere in this castle. I just know it" Sora said "Castle? Like this whole town's inside some humongous castle? Hoo, that's rich!" Cid said "They're probably right, Cid. We may not understand what's going on, but Sora and Brody do" Leon said "They can see that reality is bigger than just this world" He said "I wish we were that sure" Sora said "You'll be okay, Brody and Sora. No matter what shape reality takes, you can handle it" Leon said "I may not remember you two, but I know you both in my heart" He said "Leon...." Sora said "Take care, Brody and Sora" Yuffie said "I'm a little lost...but best of luck anyway" Cid said and the four walk away and Donald and Goofy walk ahead and Sora and I were about to follow when Aerith came back "What's up?" I asked "I don't have all the answers, but I had to tell you something" Aerith said "Your memories created this town, right?" She asks "That's what the guy who gave us the card said" Sora said "If that's true, then this town is just a figment of your mind...and so are we" Aerith said "But....you can't be a figment! You're standing right here. The town is here, too!" Sora said "But I'm not really me. I don't remember the things I should. And I sense things I shouldn't" Aerith said "Brody, Sora, beware your memories" She said "In the journey to come, you'll be faced with more illusions" She said "Sometimes the shadows of your memory will deceive you, try to lead you astray" She said "So, uh... what exactly does that mean?" Sora asks "I'm sorry. I'm just another illusion. The truth is out of my reach" Aerith said "Don't say stuff like that. It's depressing..." Sora said "Stay strong, Brody and Sora. Don't let the illusions distract you from what's truly important" Aerith said "...okay" I said "Sora! Brody!" Donald said and we look behind us to see him and Goofy "Are you two ready to go?" Goofy asks "Yeah, be right there" Sora said "Well We'd better get going" I turn to say to Aerith but no one was there "Aerith?" I ask "Aerith!" Sora said "What about Aerith?" Donald asks "Where did she go?" I asked "We were just talking to her!" Sora said "Aerith left with Leon and the others, remember?" Goofy asks "Huh?!" Sora asks "You worried us. Just standing there by yourselves" Donald said "Is this what she meant....?" I ask and we soon all head out of this room back to the castle.

"Well, Sora? Brody? Did you two enjoy meeting your memories?" The man asks, the stairs to the next floor behind him "Yeah, it was good to see everyone" Sora said "But what do you really want from us?" I asked "What do you have to give?" The man asks and suddenly another man wearing the same coat appeared behind him but this one wasn't wearing the hood to cover his face, he had red spiky hair...wait I know him! "Hello!" The new man said "What do you want?" The man asks him "No hogging the hero" Lea? said and the man throws a card at him, who catches it "Then perhaps you'd like to test him" The man said disappearing "Perhaps I would" Lea? Said "My show now, keyblade wielders" He said "Who am I? Oh, my name's-" He started "Lea? Is that you?" I ask getting the others attention "Huh. What do you know, you got it memorized Brody" Lea said "It's what I would say if that was true now" He said "What?" I ask "My name now is Axel. Got it memorized?" Axel asks "Huh....Axel?" I said "...sure" Sora said "Yup, forget about Lea, its Axel now Brody. Now that we are re-introducing ourselves..." Axel saod and summons two chakrams "Don't go off and die on me now!" He said "What? You want to fight? But we're friends...aren't we?" I asked confused "Sorry Brody. But I don't feel friendly right now and if you don't take it seriously you may end up hurt" Axel said and so a battle started.

When we defeated him, he disappeared leaving the card behind and Sora grabs it "Another one. What's it do?" Goofy asks "Hmm. Kinda looks like the card you used when you made Traversr Town" Jiminy said "Then I guess we're gonna need it to keep going..." Sora said "That's right" Axel said appearing again "Axel!" Donald said "Did you really think after that introduction, I would give up oh so easily?" Axel asks "You were testing us" I said "And you passed. Congratulations, Brody and Sora! Glad you didn't lose your touch Brody!" Axel said "You're ready now-- ready to take on Castle Oblivion" He said "You will need to follow your memories" He said "Trust what you remember and seek what you gorget" He said "Then you will find someone very special" He said "You mean King Mickey and Riku?" Goofy asks "You will just have to give some more thought to who it is that's-most important to you" Axel said "Our most precious memories lie so deep within our hearts that they're out of reach" He said "But I'm sure you can find yours, Brody and Sora" He said "Why us?" I asked "You have lost sight of the light within the darkness. And it seems that you've forgotten that you forgot" Axel said "The light within darkness..." Sora said "Would you like me to give you a hint?" Axel asks "Forget it. We can figure it out ourselves" I said "If you get in our way" Sora said "Don't worry, Brody and Sora! We'll protect you!" Donald said "Good answer. Just what I'd expect from a keyblade master like you Brody" Axel said "But be forewarned....When your sleeping memories awaken, you may no longer be who you are now" He said disappearing.

It seems...there's a lot I have to do before I can find Ven.
