"That was so fun!" I exclaimed in the passenger seat in Alex's dad's jet black Ram truck. Strangely, I felt so giddy and upbeat. I mean I always am, but I just felt so much more than I usually do at 12:30 at night.

     "Totally." Alex added as he turned down our street which was filled with light as we drove past each one.

I stared out the window watching as cars zoomed past us and the trees disappearing behind the truck as we drove past them. Soon, we ended up pulling into my neighborhood and I had to help guide Alex through it since he has never driven in this part of Raleigh before.

     "My house is right . . . here." I pointed out as I unbuckled my seatbelt and grabbed my purse.

     He got out of the truck with me and walked me up to the front porch of my house.

     "Alright, well I had a lot of fun." I explained as I rocked back and forth picturing how fun it was with him,"Alex?"

     "Yes?" He responded his eyes suddenly hooked onto mine and our hands began to intertwine.

It was silent for a moment as I let us both think about everything that had happened in the last week. Ethan cheated on me and then I broke up with him. Three days later, Alex asked me to the dance. I was kind of iffy at first about going to the dance, but I still wanted to. I didn't want to make it seem like I was using Alex, and I wasn't by all means. Then, we end up going to the dance and having a blast. I can't believe I ever loved Ethan. He was such a jerk but thing was, whenever I even walked into the forest, I couldn't help but remember the time we kissed. Or that one time I almost feel into the creek but Ethan was right behind me to snatch me and save me. I am pretty sure we were maybe twelve years old when that happened.

All I want to know is how Ethan started to love Becca and why does he love Becca? Did Becca force him to love her or did something else happen? I was pulled out of my trance when I felt Alex starting at me, waiting for my answer.

     "I really like you, you know." I informed to him as I looked at his handsome tuxedo and his messy but cute hair do.

     "Me too."  Alex replied finally as we swung our arms back and forth and stared into each other's eyes as the moon shone brightly over us.

     I stretched up to kiss him again one last time before I went inside and he very slowly leaned in and kissed me back.
