"Linnea, Linnea wake up!" Madi screamed in my ear trying to wake me up.

    I scowled as I heard her voice. Plus, I was in the middle of a really good dream.

       I looked at the clock and it was only three in the morning.

     Why was Madi waking me up so early?

    I was silent for a moment as I registered what was going on. My mind was still in sleep mode so I decided to keep my mouth shut for a few of seconds. After all, it is really early in the morning. . . at least I think it is.

     "What the heck are you doing waking me up at three in the morning?" I asked groggily as I pushed myself up against my headboard. I tired to find Madi's face but all I hold make out was her unicorn onesie that her and her best friend had. She had a pink one and her best friend had a blue one.

     "Trust me, you won't regret seeing this." Madi reassured pulling me out of bed as she grabbed my hand, pulling me out of my room and into the hallway.

     I was currently wearing a pair of blue and white sweatpants and a T-shirt from a summer camp when I was a PA. I ran down the stairs after Madi while she walked over to the computer and turned it on.

     "Close your eyes for me." Madi demanded flipping the computer around so I could see the screen. She covered my eyes and then I let out a small shriek, since I didn't realize it was just Madi's hand and not the sky falling.

     "Wha-" I started but then Madi released her hand and I let my drowsy eyes adjust to the bright light of laptop.

     I squinted at the bright screen, soon I saw it was an email...and it was from NCSU. My mouth was gaping in shock as I opened it.

     "Th-This can't be true! The emails are done sending! They've been done for weeks!" I realized frowning as I looked at Madi," is this some stupid joke?"

     "Lins, this is real. You got accepted!" Madi exclaimed as she hugged me tightly and shook me," you did it, you got accepted!"

     " I can't believe it!" I shrieked, excited I was accepted. Then I yawned," Hey, wait! I am supposed to be still mad at you for waking me up at three in the morning . . . on a school day." I added punching her arm.

      "Hey! Okay, you know maybe you should just go back to bed!" Madi pointed out laughing as she closed the laptop and followed me up the stairs.

       I laughed too and replied,"Thank You!" sarcastically.

      I crawled back into my bed under the warm sheets and smiled. Smiling because I was going to be with Ethan in three hours at school. I couldn't wait to tell him at school later today.
