We ate and talked for awhile with some of our other friends. I even got a lot of comments on my dress. Finally, homecoming was coming to an end and there was one last slow song and we danced to it.

      Afterwards, I walked with Ethan outside and we looked at the sunset. The music was still pounding loudly,even outside. We sat on the steps where the only light was the street lamp which was flickering slightly.

I looked at Ethan and he looked back at me.  He blushed and then I did too, feeling a little in love. . . okay a lot in love with him.

"I had a lot of fun tonight." I finally explained as I looked back at the gym door where people were screaming and shouting to the last song.

"I did too." Ethan replied smiling as he laced his fingers into mine and I gazed into his brown eyes.

"You ready to go?" I asked as I let go of his grip and reached down to grab my new purse.

"Yeah." He muttered as he began to walk ahead of me to get to the car first.

We strolled to the parking lot and to his dad's mustang next to a few other cars. I plopped into the passenger side and Ethan took the driver's seat. He started up the car and we began to drive away from SWHS.

"Here we are!" Ethan exclaimed as we pulled into my driveway and stopped the car halfway up it.

"Thanks for driving me back home, love ya." I concluded as I closed the car door and wavedat him.

"I love you too." He commented as he closed the car window and backed out of the driveway. I kept my eyes on his car as he drove down the  road and then pulled into his driveway.

When I pulled my eyes away from him, I held up my dress so it didn't drag on the concrete, typed in the garage door code and walked inside.

"Oh hey Linnea! How was the dance?" Madi asked pausing her show and turning to look at me.

"It was great!" I exclaimed setting down my purse and examining the picture someone took of us and then the photo booth pictures we did.

"Cool, well I suggest you get to bed, you look really tired." Madi informed as she stood up, stretching her arms.

"Yeah, I am it was a long and memorable night." I admitted walking like a zombie up the stairs and accidentally ruining my perfect eyeliner.

I wish I will always be with Ethan forever and ever.
