Layla is taking me out for my 24th birthday I really didn't feel like going out because my mom had just died a few weeks ago but Layla said it would be good for me to get out. My phone rings "Janelle I'm outside c'mon" Layla says "Ok I'm coming" I tell her I hung up in grab my purse I walk downstairs in out the door I walk outside I lock the door I walk to the door I get in Layla drives to the bar we pull we get out of the car in walk inside "Lay I'm gonna get a drink at the bar" I tell her "Ok Janelle" she says I walk to the bar in get a drink I buy a drink my mom loved I drink it after an hour of sitting at the bar this guy walks over to me "Hey beautiful wanna dance" he ask I look over at him "Sure" I say he grabs my hand I start dancing he then puts his hands in my waist my body tingles as he touches my body I put my hands around his neck in we start dance after 10 minutes of dancing "I gotta go home it's late" I tell him "Let me take you home" he ask "Ok sure just let me find My friend Layla in tell her" I say I go in find tell her in tell I'm leave I walk outside in get in the car "By the way I'm Michael" he says "I'm Janelle" I say "Nice to meet you Janelle" he says "Nice to meet you to Michael and I live just around the corner" I say after 5 minutes in the car he pulls up to my house "Thanks for bringing me home" I say I then take out a piece of paper I write my number on in give it to him "Call me sometime" I tell him Michael lean in he kisses my lips softly he pulls away "I'm sorry" he says I blush "Don't apologize" I say I get out of the car I walk inside my house I walk upstairs in to my bedroom I change into my pjs I sit on my bed watching Tv waiting to see if Michael would call

Michael's P.O.V

I pull out of Janelle's drive way I drive back to my apartment I pull up to my apartment I walk in I put my keys on the hook I walk to the couch I sit there thinking about Janelle I don't know what is about her but I just can't get her outta my mind I grab the phone I dial her number it rings a few times "Hello" she says answer I smile "Hi Janelle its me Michael" I say "Michael I didn't you were gonna call" she says "Well I couldn't stop thinking about you so I wanted to call" I say "Aww Michael you are so sweet" she says I smile hard "I also wanted to apologize again for the kiss" I say "Michael I told you not to apologize if you hadn't kissed me first I probably would of kissed you" she's says i blush in smile "really you would have" I ask I hear he giggle "Yes Michael I would have" she says "I like you Janelle I would love to take you out on a date tomorrow i wanna get to know you better only if you want Though" I say "Michael I'd love to go on a date with you Michael how about you pick me up tomorrow night around 7:30" she says "Great I'll see you then goodnight Janelle" I say "Goodnight Michael" she says I hand up the phone. I walk upstairs I put on my pjs I get into my bed in lay there thinking about Janelle I then fall alseep

Janelle's P.O.V

The next night I get ready for my date with Michael I put on one of my moms beautiful dresses I then do my hair and make after I'm finished I put my heels on then I walk downstairs I wait for Michael to pick me up 10 minutes later there's a knock on the door "coming" I say I then walk to the door I open it "Wow Janelle you look amazing" he says I smile in blush "Thanks you look amazing yourself" I tell him we walk to the car michael opens my door I get in he closes my door and gets in the car "So where are you taking me" I ask "Its a surprise" he says the car stops I look out the window its a restaurant Michael gets out of the car he opens my door I get out we walk into the restaurant in its empty with candles and follows on all the tables "Why is it empty" I ask he looks at "Um I reserved it just for us" he says "Wow you did this for me Michael this is so beautiful thank you" I tell him "Well I want our first date to be special so I wanted to do something romantic" says to me we walk to our seats we sit down we order our drinks that waiter takes our order "So tell me about yourself and your family" Michael says "Well I'm registered Nurse at Pike Valley Hospital I'm an only child dad it's an amazing and my mom well she passed away 3 weeks ago" I tell him tearing up a little "Janelle I'm sorry what happened to your mom" he ask "Well 6 years ago we we told he had leukemia well about couple months later she had a bone marrow transplant a well a 1 years after that she was in remission but 6 months ago it came back the doctors told us she only had 6 months to live we were devastated" I say tearing up "It's ok don't cry she's in a better place now" he says "Thank Michael" I say. The waiter brings us our food after eating we talk more after hours of talking Michael takes me he he walks me the we kissed for about 5 minutes I walked into the house I walked upstairs I put on my pjs in we straight to bed
