Holding a crystal-clear goblet of Merlot, he stared first at her attractively bright,crimson red dress flowing down to her knees, fluttering in the soft, quiet breeze blowing in, through the small window that she was standing next to.Then his eyes moved up to her long, elegant, beige arms, then at her round, shiny silver necklace surrounding her collar-bone with large blue gems in it that looked like sapphires. As he looked up at her full, red, luscious lips open and close as she sipped her wine, he immediately got wounded in the eyes. Suddenly, she gazed up at him, looked right into his grey eyes and his got fixed on her green ones. It was like his eyes were glued to hers. If it hadn't been for Jenna, who called Wendy to meet someone who wanted to appreciate her for her victories in her previous quest for getting back Nalvace's silver opal, he would probably have continued to stare at her with a soft sight, but instantly, she walked away, flipping her hair back and patting them to settle down neatly. As she went, she left behind a pleasant, mesmerizing scent of perfume in the air, like a trail that he could use to follow and find her.

Nix Damon, the ruler of Nalvace had arranged a big, public party which was open to everyone in the Congregation Lawn for Wendy, Harvey and Jenna's triumph and victory in safely bringing back the silver opal from the cave of Amindal, from Flinzria's grasp (in the previous story of Wendy Parlor series). There was a pretty huge gathering of Nalvillians (citizens of Nalvace) in the Lawn as most of Nalvace had come to attend the party of appreciation and meet their new heroes.

" I didn't know you had a dress. You never wear dresses but they suite you a lot. You were looking  dazzling today at the party." Harvey said to Wendy, when they all came back home from the party, at night.

" Thanks, but it was Jenna's. I borrowed it from her for the party." Said Wendy.

" You were looking so stunning and striking." Harvey said again, coming closer to her and starting to stroke her hair.

" Yeah, thanks. You just said that."

" Did I?... But you are looking simply remarkable and hot in that dress." Harvey said again, quietly, bringing his head closer to hers, as if to kiss her. And he was just about to reach her lips and kiss her, when she quickly pulled her head back and moved a bit away from him.

" Harvey Alfred, what the hell are you doing!? This is not a good idea.You're slightly drunk,aren't you? Leave the Merlot alone, will ya!" Wendy exclaimed, snatching the wine glass from Harvey's hand. " You're only seventeen".

" Go and take that dress off. It's the first time that he's been that high and he can't control himself,now." Jenna said, who had quietly been watching them.

As Wendy got up to go to her room, Harvey got up as well and went after her. He grabbed her hand, pulled her back and pinned her to the wall. Before he could do anything else, Wendy pushed him aside with her full force, rushed into her bedroom and slammed the door shut, locking it.

What in God's name is wrong with Harvey tonight. He's never behaved like this before. Is it just because of the dress?

Wendy's eyes started to get wet and puffy as they filled with tears, when she thought about the shocking and unbelievable incident that had just occurred.(She had never been disrespected by anyone like this before) Soon, she dozed off on her bed, hoping that tomorrow would be normal and especially Harvey would have gotten back in his senses and everyone would have forgotten about last night.

Early morning, the next day, Jenna went outside to get the newspaper and as she glanced at the headlines on the front page, she was struck with shock and worry. Jenna raced back inside and woke up Wendy and Harvey.

The way Jenna was shrieking, jumping on top of their heads and tugging at their bed sheets,to try to wake them up and show them the newspaper, they immediately  got up and sat up on their beds.

" Look Wendy and Harvey, read the headlines!" Jenna commanded them urgently. As they both held the newspaper and read the cover page, they were stupefied.

It read:

NIX DAMON'S DAUGHTER VANISHED LAST NIGHT!?

19th, August

According to Damon, his one and only daughter, Mia, went to Nalvace National Picnic Park, yesterday in the afternoon at 3:00 p.m with two of her friends and had planned to be back home, by 6-7:00 p.m, when Mia didn't even come back at 8:00 though her friends went back immediately, and Mia was away from home all night. Mia's friends informed Damon and his wife that she went to the restroom and when she didn't come back to them for quite a long while, they went to look for her but couldn't find her anywhere as she perhaps had gotten lost, so they called the police and then came to Damon to inform him about Mia. Damon has sent a large force of soldiers and policemen, equipped with arms and weapons, across Nalvace to search for his daughter. So far, no one has seen Mia, since she vanished last night. No one is sure if she is lost or has been kidnapped.  If anyone has any information about her or hears anything about Mia, please call the police instantly and also inform the 'Nalvace in News' news office.

" Oh my God! I don't believe this. How could so much happen in one night? I need to send a letter to Nix Damon and make sure that this news is true. He might as well be needing our help." Wendy finally broke the silence, as Jenna, Harvey and she had been quietly skimming through the article.

" What do you mean, 'so much happened in one night'?Did anything else happen?" Harvey asked, confusedly.

" Oh you know perfectly well ,what happened last night. What you did with me! Don't pretend that you've forgotten!" Wendy exclaimed, almost attacking Harvey verbally.

" I'm sorry but I seriously don't know what you're talking about. Could you be more specific?" Harvey questioned, weakly.

" Yeah, right. As if I'm gonna explain everything, creating the entire, disgusting image in both of your minds and giving myself the horrible flashback. When you got **** drunk-" Wendy got interrupted by Jenna.

" Thank God, he doesn't remember. Now don't remind him, silly." Jenna immediately said.

" What are you both talking about? Can anyone please tell me and clear up my confusion." Harvey wailed, starting to get annoyed by the two of them.

" I just can't tell you myself. Either forget it or ask Jenna, so that you can apologize to me. Now let me contact with Damon.

When Wendy went to give her letter to the post office, she was informed that she would receive the reply to her letter in two days due to the time taken in traveling and transporting goods. And so, the three friends waited for Damon's reply, so that they could make their next move.

 This thought kept going on and on in Wendy's mind as she went to bed, that was there going to be another quest this time and how and what was going to be different about it.
