Wendy, Harvey and Jenna were packing their haversacks with different weapons, survival kits(for if they got lost, though they had kept a compass each) and a few food items, like protein bars, for if they became extremely hungry. 

" Make sure that you both have atleast one pen knife ready at all times to be used, in your pockets to protect yourselves, because I read that there are Drop Bears in the forest and they are the carnivorous versions of koala bears."  Wendy informed them.

" How will pen knives save us from those vicious, carnivorous creatures?" Jenna asked Wendy.

" I'll tell you when we reach there." Wendy quickly answered, trying to avoid questions at the moment,as she was worried about Mia.

" What!" Jenna said

Wendy ignored her. Think, Think. Is there any thing else we have to do or keep with us.

" Do we have everything we need?" Wendy asked one final time, before they left the house.

"  Yes. Don't worry. We'll survive, or atleast force ourselves to, until we find Mia." Harvey joked.

Then they took a deep breath and stepped out of the house, holding each other's hands tightly. Rishfaganas was waiting outside for them ready to fly them to Hell forest. This was going to be their first flight on the back of a horse. 

They sat on the horse,one by one.Harvey sat on the front and Wendy squeezed his wait firmly with her arms and Jenna gripped Wendy's shoulders from behind her. As they fixed themselves up in thier positions, Rishfaganas took off, making the girls scream in excitement and fear.

They flew for what only seemed like ten minutes to them and then Rishfaganas flew down to the ground,slowly, a few steps away from where the forest started.

All the three friends got off the horse and froze in front of the forest. They were slightly frightened to go in, except for Harvey, who was the least scared as he had already been there before, that too on his own. He held Wendy and Jenna's hand and said, " Together."

Together, they entered the forest, with Rishfaganas right behind them. Wendy and Jenna were slightly relieved that they had Rishfaganas to protect them or help them.

They walked and walked through the tall grass rustling in the breeze blowing in the forest, hitting their faces softly, as they made their way through the darkness.

Suddenly, Wendy's eyes caught sight of something and she gasped and paused right there.

" What is it Wendy.Did you see something?" Harvey asked her worridly, swallowing his spit, appearing scared himself.

" Those trees right in front of us, approximately, 20 kilometers away, are gum trees." Wendy's voice quivered, as she pointed towards a row of trees quite far away from them.

" So?" Jenna shrugged, slightly.

" So, there must be drop bears on them because they sit on gum trees. If they see or smell us, they'll definitely attack us. And as they always attack their preys by pouncing onto their heads, we have to prevent them from attacking us by holding up our pen knife just above our head, so that if they jump onto us, they'll get themselves injured. " Wendy explained her plan to them.

When they reached closer to the gum trees, Wendy, Harvey and Jenna pulled out their pen knives from their pockets and held them above their heads. They could see big yellow eyes gleaming with abhorrence and Rishfaganas suddenly broke the silence and started making queer, humming noises and started neighing vociferously. Then Rishfaganas shot up into the sky, frightened, and the three friends imediately understood that those eyes belonged to the drop bears and even large animals like Rishfaganas were afraid of them. Their hearts started pounding heavily.

Two drop bears dropped from the gum trees, when they were just passing by, and jumped right onto Wendy and Jenna's heads.  The girls' screams echoed in the vast forest but they somehow, managed to keep their knives fixed over their heads and caused the drop bears to get seroiusly wounded. 

Wendy, Harvey and Jenna immediately, hurried through the gum trees and kept running and running, until they were very far away from the gum trees and then finally came to a hault. Wendy also tripped over her own feet and as she fell down, she got small cuts on her face and right arm from the sharp tips of the grass.

 Harvey saw Rishfaganas soaring in the air, right above them and he whistled to it to come down to them, while Jenna helped Wendy get up.Harvey, Jenna and Wendy got onto the horse and Harvey told them that he was going to take them to where he last saw Mia, in the deep hole.

They kept riding on Rishfaganas's back for five minutes, until it stopped in the middle and started neighing again. All the three friends were bewildered and couldn't understand at all, that why the horse had stopped in the middle of the forest. Harvey kicked its sides, hoping that it would make Rishfaganas start walking again but Wendy motioned him to stop and pointed in front.

As Harvey and Jenna strained their eyes to see in the dark, they saw a grey, hazy figure of a strange creature resting on the ground and next to it was a deep, dark hole.

Rishfaganas's neighs started becoming louder and louder and the creature immediately awoke,stood up and squealed. It was the kind of creature, that none of them had ever seen. Not even in books. It was lengh-wise the size of Rishfaganas but taller than it. It had a large hump for a back with thick and long, ivory-colored spikes sticking out of its back and from the shape, it looked like some kind of gigantic lizard. It had a head which was the size of a horse and that was also covered with long ivory spikes. It had four long,slender limbs and feet with thick, broad, pointed nails on the toes. Out of its mouth hung a thin,red, snake-like tongue and tiny, dull eyes, but was still sharp-sighted. It's name was Chupacabra.

Rishfaganas bucked the three friends off of its back and neighed at them to make them run for their lives, but they didn't because they had come to Hell forest on a mission. Rishfaganas then broke into a furious galop and tumbled Chupacabra to the ground by hitting it with its front legs.

While Rishfaganas and Chupacabra were wrestling with each other, on the ground, Wendy instantly pulled out a long rope from her haversack, tied it to the nearest tree, as tightly as she could, threw the rope down the hole and called out to Mia to cling onto it, so that she could pull her up.

The moment Mia gripped the rope tightly, ready to be pulled up, a Hayaenodon came rushing towards Wendy, grabbed the back of her shirt, pulled her down to the ground and started dragging her across the ground. 

Harvey swiftly threw his pen knife in the direction of the Hyaenodon and it luckily hit him and he yelped in pain, releasing Wendy and disappearing away into the darkness. But just then, something graspped Harvey's leg harshly and before he could even turn back and see that it was another Hyaenodon, he got dragged away, deeper into the forest. But Jenna didn't dare to move. She stood there,helplessly watching Harvey in pain and trouble. 

Chupacabra kicked Rishfaganas to a side and fixed its eyes on Wendy, who was busy pulling Mia out of the hole, after the Hyaenodon let her go and ran away, himself. Chupacabra was faintly crawling towards Wendy to attack her, when without even thinking, Jenna threw herself to the Chupacabra and gripped its tail firmly. Chupacabra swayed its tail in the air,strongly, trying to get her off of it, but she was dangling from it, stubbornly.

That gave time to Wendy to pull Mia out of the hole and command her to go to a safer part of the forest, but not too far away and handed Mia, her compass. Then Jenna let go of Chupacabra's tail and as it had been swishing it madly, she flew and fell a little further away from Rishfaganas. 

Rishfaganas's wing started turning dark grey and stiffer and harder in texture. From the tips of its wings grew out massive, razor-sharp, shiny thorns, right in front of Jenna;s eyes and Rishfaganas then gallopped to Chupacabra and attacked it with its thorny wings, injuring the creature. But Chupacabra also fought back and defended itself with its long spikes, all over its body. And once again, Rishfaganas and Chupacabra started wrestling, kicking and injuring each other with their thorns and spikes.

" I have sent Mia to a safer spot. Now we have to find Harvey." Wendy told Jenna.

" I don't think that we should leave Rishfaganas here alone." Jenna said.

" We have to, because we can't fight with Chupacabra. It's good that Rishfaganas is fighting it and protecting us." Wendy said, selfishly. " Now come on, we have to find Harvey". Wendy said, picking up her haversack and jogging away from there.
