***Recap***

"I will get you back, Elizabeth Marie McCartney-Winters. I will make sure of it. Game on, Lizzy!" Xavier said in a promising tone.
***Present***

"Share we go in?" I asked.

"We shall," Bella said while linking her arm with my arm while Xavier followed closely behind us like a lost puppy.

As soon as we opened the door, a bell rang above us signalling that there were customers. A waitress that looked bored out of her brains said in an even more bored tone with a 'do I have to serve you' face, "Hello and welcome to Shelly's, my name is Sarah and I will your waitress tonight. Would you like a table? If so, how many people?"

She sounded so bored so I decided to entertain her, Bella and Xavier and my recorder.

"Hello and no, I don't want a table, I would like a carpet for three," I said, when I said three, I showed the number four on my fingers.

"Three or four, mam," Sarah said, getting irritated.

"Three, " I said while showing four fingers again and continued, "Bella, Xavier and I," while pointing to each person by name.

Xavier came to stand behind me. Sarah noticed Xavier standing behind me and her whole attitude changed.

"Well hello kind sir, what can I do for you on this fine evening?" Sarah said sickly-sweet.

"Someone call the doctor, we've got a case of bipolar," I said quietly but just loud enough for Bella, Xavier and Sarah to hear, Bella giggled at my comment, Xavier and I smirked and Sarah was fuming, if she was in Snow White she would be Grumpy the dwarf. I high-fived Bella and she high-fived me back.

"Let me get you a table," Sarah said while staring at Xavier the time. Eventually she came back (with even more makeup on) and said,"Come this way to your table," again in a sickly-sweet voice.

"But I ordered a carpet," I muttered to myself but Xavier and Bella heard and started laughing against themselves. Sarah looked at us like we lost our screws, nuts, bolts and marbles, we probably have though.

We all took our seats, Bella sat opposite Xavier and me. Sarah gave us the food and drink menus. We all ordered milkshakes, Bella ordered a strawberry, Xavier ordered a lime and I ordered a bubblegum milkshake and for food we all ordered pasta, Bella ordered a lasagna and Xavier and I ordered spaghetti, Sarah took our order still staring at Xavier when she left, I did an impersonation.

"Ahem. Hello there kind sir, what can I do for you on this fine evening?" I said sickly-sweet while staring at Xavier and took my finger and twiddled it with my hair.

Bella laughed and I started with her. "My neck is so sore, " I moaned about and Xavier muttered under his breath so only I could hear, "Serves you right," so for payback I rested my head on Xavier's shoulder. As soon as I did, two waitresses came, one was Sarah, the other waitress, I don't know

"You two make the cutest couple," the waitress with the drinks said.

"Oh, we are-," I was about to say "aren't" but cut off by the waitress head nodding to Sarah so I continued," the cutest couple, aren't we Xavi?" I finished off, it seems like Sarah isn't well liked around here but with that attitude and the way she seems to check out guys, no one would.

Sarah was not happy that Xavier and I are a 'couple' (A/N: By the way we aren't), actually I'm lying saying she was not happy, she was annoyed and was fuming if she was a cartoon she would have smoke coming out of her ears.

When we finished eating, I called Sarah,"Sarah, would you be a dear and get my bill?"

Sarah came back from the counter and gave me the bill. I checked the bill, once, twice and then three times and I even took off my fake glasses to see the bill, Sarah had the cheek to make me pay for her milkshake which was a vanilla. So I did the reasonable thing, I called the manger and had a formal chat that went something like this.

"Hello, I am the mangeress of Shelly's and the owner of Shelly's, and my name is Shelly." Shelly said.

"Hi Shelly, I'm Liz and I've got a complaint with one of your workers, she put another waitress's name on my bill and put her vanilla milkshake on my bill and her name is-" I said before Shelly said,"Let me guess, her name is Sarah. Ugh! Thank you Liz, I finally have a reason to fire her. She would always check out guys even if they were a customer's partner and would be awfully rude to girls, woman and to men she doesn't think is cute enough."

"I need to tell you I gave her a good taste of own medicine," I said to Shelly.

"Good, she had it coming for a long time," Shelly said.

Then after our little chit chat, we went back inside. Shelly took Sarah outside and gave her the talk and fired her, outside we all heard Sarah shouting,"YOU CAN'T FIRE ME! I QUIT! HA! I NEVER LIKED YOU ANYWAYS! "

Shelly came in and said "Milkshakes all round, the old hag is gone!" Everyone cheered. Then Shelly made her way to us and said,"Thank you Liz, a big thank you to you and your friends!"

"It's a pleasure, anytime Shelly! While we better get going. Xavier, Bella shall we go?" I said.

"Yeah, let's go and find The Coliseum (the motel)," Xavier said.

"Are you guys going to stay at The Coliseum?" Shelly asked.

"Yes," Bella said.

"Well, my husband owns it and I going there now to see him, so do you want to follow me to The Coliseum?" Shelly asked.

"Yes, please Shelly, if that's not a problem with you?" I said.

"No, not a problem. Now, which car do you drive?" Shelly responded.

"Jeep Wrangler," Xavier said.

"Well, off we go then," I said then we went to our cars. The drive to the motel was quick. Following Shelly's KIA was easy. There was a lot of traffic because it was starting to get late. The Coliseum was a peaceful looking motel but it was also a bed and breakfast.
