It was like the good old days, fighting against Kisame in Team 7, except now it's kill or be killed (A/N: Undertale fans, anybody?). Naruto looked at Sasuke and nodded with approval.

Smoke flooded the forest the four were in. Kisame and Itachi took cover behind two trees, Sasuke forming handsigns quicker than the naked eye could see, but so was Kisame.

At the exact same time, Kisame and Sasuke both leapt from their cover and shouted.

"Fire Style: Fireball jutsu!" "Water Style: Water Dragon jutsu!"

Steam poured out into the air. Meanwhile, Naruto and Itachi were having their own battle. Launching into the air with Itachi, Naruto formed a rasengan in his hand and used a clone to launch himself towards his opponent quickly.

'Almost... there...' Naruto thought, his face contorted with focus.

Inches away from his face, Itachi caught Naruto's hand and threw him to the ground.

Clone after clone they threw Naruto up, making him regain his speed. Itachi widened his sharingan eyes in surprise. He was doomed.

"ITAACHHIIIII!!!!!!"

Naruto punched Itachi with so much force it blew a shockwave around his fist, which only worsened Itachi's fall.

Itachi fell with his eyes half open, still dazed from the punch.

'I hope you're alright, Sasuke.'

Naruto P.O.V

I swiftly caught Itachi right before his head hit the ground, and stared at his dazed face one last time before he smiled and said,"Take care of Sasuke for me, alright?"

I nodded,"Don't worry."

He blacked out before I could finish my sentence.
