Chapter 9: Wake up, Keith

(Get you aw's out now, your going to hate me latter. Oh well, please don't kill me, I swarm it will get better)

The air around his body felt warm, and soft whispers filled his head. Unfortunately, Keith couldn't make out who the voice belonged to, or where it was coming from.

"Keith," it whispered gently. "Keith," it breathes softly against his skin. Hands held him close to something, or someone. It cradles him with tender care. He wants to stay in those arms for longer, but was slowly moves somewhere colder.

"It's going to be alright Keith, you're going to be ok," it whispers softly as its arms move away from his body hesitantly. "I'm right here."

Finally, Keith opens his eyes. After two long days, he steps out of the pod best he can with his shaky legs.

"What happened?" He asks, rubbing his head, he looks up at the other Paladins, who all, look nervous. "What?" He asks, shrugging his shoulders.

"It's great to have you back Keith," Shiro said, placing a hand on Keith's shoulder, smiling nervously.

"Shiro, why is everyone looking at me like that?" He asks with a confused look.

A sigh left Shiro's lips, "just come with me, I'll show you," he said moving Keith slowly back to Keith's bedroom. Keith wakes with Shiro blindly, not knowing why he was being taken to his room. He was fine.

Then, it came back to him. He gasps, stopping in his tracks," Lance! Shiro, where's Lance?" He demands, his face twisted in pain. How could everyone look so calm.

A soft smile pulled on Shiro's lips as the door to Keith's room opens. "Go get 'em tiger," he said, pushing Keith in, the door closing behind him.

Keith was in shock. There, right in front of him, was Lance. There, sleeping on his sheets. "Lance?" He breathes softly, stepping closer to his, no, the other Paladin. Lance wasn't his, no matter how much he begs for it to be so.

"Keith?" Lance asks, pushing himself up from the mattress.

"Hey," Keith spoke softly, a shy smile pulls at his lips.

"Hug me," Lance said bluntly, his arms open wide. It nearly took Keith a step back, but his feet move forward to Lance. Hesitantly, his arms rapped around Lance's curvy body. "I missed you," Lance spoke softly against Keith's ear.

"You did?" Keith asks, pulling Lance closer as he sits on the bed.

"Yeah," Lance nods into Keith's shoulder. "I missed you so much," he whispers, pulling Keith down into the sheets with an 'oof.'

"Are you ok?" Keith asks.

"Yeah," Lance replies simply. "Keith?"

"Yeah?"

"I love you," Lance kissed Keith's cheek gently.

"I know," Keith smiles, kissing him back softly on his forehead. Slowly, his lips met Lance's, and even more slowly, they kiss more. "I love you too."

The whole time, Lance and Keith stayed locked up in his bedroom, cuddling with each other. When they did end up leaving, Lance staid strapped down to Keith's arm, refusing to let go. Not like Keith was complaining.

In the kitchen, Lance was holding on tight to his arm, his head leaning onto his shoulder. Keith was poring them some special hot chocolate they fond on a planet. The team saved it especially for Lance.

Both Hunk and Pidge watched from a far, staring at them like lab rats. "You guys are too clingy," Pidge smirked at her friends, a king all lovey dovey.

"I think it's cute," Hunk chuckled happily, leaning on his hand.

"Mmm," Lance purred into Keith's shirt.

"Can you guys go for one second, not staring at us," Keith scolded.

"We just think your cute together," Pidge chirped.

A small blush painted Keith's cheeks as his eyes fall onto Lance, cuddling into his shoulder. But then, Lance let out a small groan.

"Lance?" Keith asked, looking at him with concern.

Lance pulls away, a hand presses against his mouth, his eyes closed, as if, that would help, but it didn't. Lance made a pained sound before falling to his knees. He grips the garbage can tightly as he lets it all out.

"Lance!" Hunk yells from the table.

"Oh my god, are you ok?!" Pidge yells, rushing over to them.

"We need to get him to Coran! Now!" Keith yells, patting Lance back gently.

Coran looks down at the tests shocked. His mouth hung open slightly, and eyes wide. Not believing what the tests say.

"Well Coran? What's wrong?" Shiro asks, arms folded.

"I— um, he, a," Coran stutters out. Of corse the Glara would do such an unnatural thing to this boy, he'd been through so much. Including a personality change. On that made him lose control over himself and give into lust, but this, this was wrong.

"What is it?" Allura asks, taking a step forward.

Coran let out a sigh, looking at the boy sleeping in the pod, unaware of what had happened to him.

"Lance, is pregnant. And by the looks of it, it's Lotors."
