Chapter 10: The Devil's Wish
Every one in the room was in shock.
"What— What do you mean he's pregnant?! That not possible!" Pidge stutters, her eyes wide as she snatched the test results out Coran's hands. "How?!" She asks, tears well up in her eyes.
"It isn't possible," Keith spoke. "Dose he even know," he said hesitantly, and everyone went speechless.
Did Lance even know? And if he didn't, how will he react?
"Poor Lance," Allura brought her hands to her mouth, trying to hide the sod that was going to escape her.
"This will destroy him," Hunk lowers his head in pity.
"What will we tell him?" Pidge asks.
Shiro let out a sigh, doing so for the first time after staying silent. "We tell him the truth," he spoke flatly as he steps to the pod. Taking a deep breath, his hand presses gently against the glass— the glass opening quickly.
Lance stumbles out, being caught by Allura and Shiro. Hesitantly, Lance reached for his head, "what happened?" He whispers gently as both Allura and Shiro helped him stand. His droopy eyes glances over to Keith, and a soft smile pulls at his lips with soft, tired eyes. He reaches his hand out," Keith," he whispers, reaching out for the other paladin.
Stumbling forward, Lance fell into Keith's arms with a soft purr. "I got you, I got you," Keith hushed into Lance's ear, stroking his hair in a caring manner. It fells right to have Lance in his arms, it made him almost forget what the problem was.
"Lance," Shiro spoke, bringing the two out of the tight embrace. Slowly, Lance looks at the man with a worrying face. "We need to talk."

His eyes were stretched wide, his mouth hug in stoke. Lance is speechless. A frog sat in his throat as his grip on Keith's hand tightens when his looks at the ground with unsteady breaths. "I— I don't believe it," he breathes out. "So that's what they did to me," Lance whispers to himself.
"What?" Keith said, turning to him. Lance just started at the floor, expression cold and tired.
Lance let out a shaky, and forced laugh, dead eyes still focusing on the floor. "Every day last year, even now, the druids give me this pink, maybe it was purple— well, they stuck it it into my body almost everyday. I guess this is what Lotor was up to? It makes a lot more sense now..." He trails off, the forced smile left his face.
"Lance, this decision is up to you, you don't have to go through anything you don't want to," Shiro reassured.
"I can't pilot blue," he said softly.
"Why?" Keith asks.
Lance turns his head to Keith, and smiles. "I'm going through with it," he said simply.
Keith, along with everyone else, mouths dropped. The room was once again, speechless.
"You what?!" Keith stood, his stunned face now mixed with anger.
"Keith, calm down—"
"No Shiro!" Keith yells, his anger starts to take over. "Lance this is crazy, you don't have to go through with this!" He says.
Lance shook his head slowly," no Keith, you're wrong," he smiles. "If I don't go through this, I'll be killing an innocent child. One that doesn't know why it's here, or knows why it's being born, all it knows is that it has a will to live," he sighs, still smiling sweetly. "It might be Lotor's, but it's also mine, and I don't know if it's going to have a great life or not, but that doesn't mean I have the right to take it away," he said. The team stood there in silence at how mature Lance was being. No one was going to blame him if he went through with the abortion, but the birth? Was he ready? "Lotor wanted this," Lance said, smile fading.
"What do you mean?" Pidge asks, leaning into her seat.
"Lotor let me go so easily because he knew I'd never go through with it, he knew I'd come crawling back, begging," he said. "But no," he stood up, face to face with Keith, but looks right thought him as if he was only air. Lance hid his fear so well, looking at Keith. "I'm going to raise this kid the best way I can, and I want him to know what a peace of shit Lotor is," he spoke proudly, walking out of the room with his decision.
Keith just lowered his head in shame. They all did.

"Lance?" Keith says, knocking gently on the door. After Lance left like that, Keith thought it best if he went to go check on him. The door slid open, revealing a teary-eyed Lance. "Lance?" Keith calls out to him," hey, hey it's ok," Keith says, holding Lance's tear stained checks. "Tell me what's wrong," he says.
Lance nods, "I'm scared. I don't know what I'm going to do," he tells Keith, with shut eyes. "What if every time I look at it, it reminds me of him?" The teen sods. "What if I can't do it? Or Lotor comes and, and—"
"Hey, hey. It's alright," Keith hushed gently. "I'm not letting you do this alone. I'll be here for you, I'll help you look after it," he Smiles.
Lance lets out a sniffle," really?" He asks, full of hope.
"Really," Keith answers, drawing Lance into a hug.
"I love you, I love you so much," Lance sobbed into his shoulder.
"I love you too,"
