"Your awake!" I said excitedly as Lin got the nurses. Athena stood next to me and smiled. It was about 11:30 in the afternoon since we had slept in.

"I heard Athena, I couldn't pass up seeing my favorite friend,"Arianna said. I acted all sad and dramatic.

"How could you!" I said dramatically, "I thought you didn't have favorites!". After I said that, me, Arianna, and Athena burst out laughing.

A nurse came in a couple minutes later and kicked us out so she could run some test on Arianna.

"Love, im going to head out. My mom will be wondering where I am if I don't come in for lunch. I'll see you later," Athena said and hugged me before walking out of the waiting room with the food she saved from Starbucks.

Lin walked up to me and sat down before saying "Evelyn, I have to go to the theater because we have a show at 2, so we gotta go.". I nodded and stood up as I got a text.

I turned my phone off and hopped in the car, "I'm going to the movies with James tonight at six. I'll be back before the show ends so we can go to dinner still," I said and Lin nodded.

I went on Twitter and there was a bunch of news about Arianna being stabbed. Some said it was my fault.

I scrolled through and stopped at a picture of me that Lin posted an hour ago. It was me and Athena hugging.

My eyes teared up, but I quickly wiped them away when Lin spoke, "So, I was looking into it, but I wanted to know your opinion on it..would you mind if I also adopted Arianna. I mean, she's being abused and I wan-"

I cut Lin off by saying, "That would be amazing. She will be so excited.". He nodded as we pulled up to the theater. We hopped out and went in side

The smell of pizza filled my nose as we walked backstage. I ran upstairs plugged my phone in before going downstairs to eat pizza. I took a cheese pizza and some water. I ate it quickly and then avoided everyone as they came back to change for Act 2 for their rehearsal.

"Hello!" I heard Jazzy's voice from the other side of the door. She opened it and came in, closing it behind her, "I heard you have a date tonight!" She blurted out.

"It's more of just a hangout, not a date. We're not even officially dating," I responded,
"I love James and hope we date one day, but we're not dating yet.".

She nodded before saying, "You still need to look hot. Let me see what you have.". She walked over to my closet and opened it, looking for clothes.

"How about this," she said and turned around holding a black dress. It had designs on it and was clear at some points.

"Perfect. I have black heels to match it," i responded and she smiled. I checked the time. 5:00. "I better get ready," I said and she nodded.

As she left the room, I ran into the bathroom. I quickly got changed and did my makeup. I then braided my hair. I hope he thinks I look good.
