Sword of the Big Three

Percy and Perses were flashed into the Olympian throne room just as the iris message cut off.

"Anybody miss me at all?"

Everyone, but Zeus gave off a small chuckle. Artemis on the other hand wanted to know why Percy had brought the titan here instead of just killing him.

Before she could ask the question, Percy dragged Perses by one of his feet and tossed him over to her father with little trouble.

Zeus looked at the young son of Poseidon curiously. "I have brought this trash to Olympus for you to decide his fate Lord Zeus. I know we didn't leave on good terms last time, but I was hoping to apologize for my mistakes earlier. I just did not like to be called weak when that is not true," Percy said with a slight bow.

Zeus looked shocked at the demigod before him, but nodded his head non the less as his attention focused on what was left of the titan in front of him.

"For trying to kill an Olympian and planning the downfall of Olympus, I hereby banish you to Tartarus for your crimes. Be gone filth!"

Hades snapped his fingers, creating a hole that lead down into the deepest part of the pit itself and Poseidon shot a stream of salt water at the injured titan that pushed him into the hole.

"Well I'm glad that's over with, but me and Artemis really need to get going so we can find a girl to see if she wants to join Artemis's hunt."

Just as both of them were about to flash out, Zeus spoke up.

"You can't leave without being rewarded. It would be improper of me to not give you something in return for helping to protect Olympus."

Percy seemed to be thinking before a huge smile was plastered to his face.

"Yes there is something you could do and its not that hard and will benefit the three sons of Kronos. I want all three of you to bless my sword so that there will be proof that you three can work together. It will show just how powerful the Olympian council is and it might help to scare some of the enemy away. So what do you say?"

Zeus pondered this for a few minutes when he smiled, something rarely seen on his face. "Yes demigod. That is a great idea. I think we should do it now. Just remember though, you will not have these powers. Only your sword can use them and it will only increase the damage the weapon can cause."

The son of Poseidon coughed loudly, making Zeus look at him confused. "I'm not a demigod, remember?"

Zeus face palmed. "Oh well. Let's just continue on with our plans."

Percy nodded and they blessed his sword. From Hades blessing, the sword absorbed the souls of whatever or whoever it kills and keeps them dead permanently, but if the wielder chooses, he can stab the weapon into the ground and the dead that have been killed by the blade will rise up and defend the wielder of the sword.

From Zeus, the sword will send out thousands of volts of electricity into the opponent, instantly killing it or at least severely wounding it.

From Poseidon, the sword can be used to call upon the wrath of the seas against any who oppose its wielder.

Percy bowed to the Olympian council before walking out of the throne room, Artemis hot on his heels.

When he made it to the entrance of Olympus, Artemis grabbed his arm and pulled him back. "Where are you going Percy?"

He looked at her for a moment before anger replaced his happy state that he was in, but moments ago. "I have some things I need to take care of. I'm sorry that I can't help you retrieve the girl, but what I'm about to do will benefit you immensely."

Artemis understood he had things to care of. He was the guardian of Poseidon after all. What made her curious though was when he said that she will benefit from what he's about to do. Instead of pressing him for more information, Artemis went up and crushed him into a hug.

"Be safe."

He smirked at her. "I'm always safe. I just killed a Titan and you think monsters are going to be hard for me? Ye of little faith," he laughed at her angry expression.

"Just come back or I will go into Tartarus myself and wait for you to reform so I can kill you again."

He laughed at her again. "I'm coming back Artemis. Don't worry."

She let go of him so he could leave to do whatever it was he was doing.

When he vanished into a sea breeze, she flashed to the location of the girl that she was going to allow into the hunt from earlier.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Garden of the Hesperiedes>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

A very large man fought and slayed the beast, Ladon. This hundred headed dragon guarded the apples of immortality, a wedding gift from Zeus to his wife Hera.

The only way this man was able to fight this giant beast and lived was by a few advantages on his side. First of all, this man is a demigod son of Zeus and by far the strongest demigod in existence. His name is Hercules.

Another advantage for this already powerful man was the sword given to him by a Hesperied, Zoe Nightshade. She is the daughter of the Titan Atlas and goddess Pleione.  She risked her her life to help this man, only for him to leave her behind like yesterday's trash.

The sword she gave him held her immortality and since she gave it to him she is no longer immortal. As he walked away with a bag full with the apples of immortality another man stepped out from the shadows and decked the son of Zeus in the nose breaking it, blood began to pool down his face.

When Hercules stood up after getting knocked flat on his ass, he stood up and brandished a six foot long club.

"Who are you and what the hell do you want?"

The man laughed at his cousin.

"I am Perseus, son and guardian of Poseidon and I am here so you can give miss Nightshade her sword back. If you won't comply then I will just take it. Also don't give me that bullshit about you being the strongest demigod to ever live. I am a minor god that doesn't have to follow those stupid laws that the Olympians follow. Now give me the sword."

Hercules hesitated. He knew exactly who this person was. In fact Hercules had been there when they announced who the guardian's were as he was one of Zeus's many children in line to be his guardian.

He couldn't just hand over the sword and look like a weak demigod. So he settled for getting the surprise hit.

"Here is the stupid sword. I didn't want it anyway," the son of Zeus said as he tossed the weapon over to Percy.

When Percy caught it he ducked just in time to avoid getting a concussion from that massive club.

"You know you are really stupid. I just told you that I'm a minor god which means I can read your mind dumbass."

Before Hercules could reply he was hit over the head with a huge tree branch.

When he fell Percy could see that it was a woman who had attacked the pig.

"I'm guessing your Zoe Nightshade yes?"

She didn't seemed surprised that he knew her name. She had received a visit from her mother a week earlier. Her mother had explained that a man with black hair and bright sea green eyes would rescue her. Well this was obviously the one her mother was talking about.

At the time she had just been focused on what she would need saving from, but now it was all clear. She had been banished from her home and now she figured this man was going to help her find a new one.

"I am sorry for what my cousin here has done to you, but I am here to help you find a new home. Just one question though. What do you think of the male population?"

"Most are worthless pigs that deserve eternal damnation in the fields of punishment, but I can see you are different from most," was her quick response.

He seemed surprise that she could tell that he was different from most of the male population by just knowing him for the short five minutes she's been with him.

"What do you know of the godess Artemis," he asked her a little curious as to how much a Hesperied would know.

"She is the daughter of Zeus and Leto, has a twin brother named Apollo and she made an oath to never be in a relationship with anyone until she found the right one. Why are you asking me this?"

Okay maybe the Hesperieds knew just about everything going on in the world around them if they knew about Artemis who was only a seventeen year old Olympian godess.

"Well as part of her oath she has decided to form a group of man hating girls that will be given immortality, but can still be killed in battle. Only catch is that you must swear off men for eternity. Any questions?"

It took her a couple of minutes to weigh her options before she smiled.

"When do we leave?"

He chuckled at her excitement. "We leave now, but before we go, I believe this belongs back with its real master," Percy said as he handed her the sword back to her, but not before seeing the name engraved on the blade. Anaklusmos or Riptide.

She took the blade out of his hands and held it tightly as if she would lose it If she didn't. "Thank you. You don't understand how much this sword means to me. It was given to me by my mother. I wish I could repay you for it, but as of now I have nothing to offer you," she said sadly.

He smiled at her and then began to think. He had no doubt that she would become great friends with Artemis and she was very determined so he figured that she would become lieutenant of the hunt.

"How about you can just owe me a favor in the future incase I ever need help. Deal," he asked, sticking out his hand?

"Deal."

Once they shook hands neither let go because Percy had to vapor travel them back to Olympus for Artemis to see her and let Zoe take the oath of a hunter.
