Update I've drank some coffee, and I haven't really noticed what I've written but I love it after rereading and this is the best chapter so far in my opinion.

So, Xisuma's become more overbearing. He's always where I am, and the only time I can get away from him is if I manage to sneak away. 

Breaking me out of my thoughts is Grian screeching; 'I HATE YOu!'

Scar then retaliates with a; ' OH?! WELL, NEXT TIME, DON'T STeAL MY MONOPOLY!'

"Grian. Give Scar your $200. You landed on his property." Mumbo murmurs I think he's trying to save the peace. It is midnight.

"NO! HE'S IN JAIL! I'M NOT GONNA GIVE MONEY TO A CRIMINAL!"

"THAT'S NOT HOW YOU PPLLLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Scar, why is my brother--you're boyfriend, screaming?" Pearl says before Scar shoots back at her;  "Shut the fuck up, Pearl! You don't get to talk after stealing my LAST RAILROAD!"

Didn't know he could curse, nor that he and Grian were together.

" I WISH I WAS NEVER BORN!!!" That was Grian

"ME TOO! YOU THINK I WANTED THIS?!" That was Pearl and Mumbo, in unison.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!" That was Scar. (a/n Original conversation by James, aka TheOdd1sOut on YT)

I don't think they've noticed that we're not even playing Monopoly anymore and that we're playing The Game of Life. Or well that Hels and I ended up playing life. 

Hiogfjdckoiuhjfdc, so Hels, while I wasn't paying attention, moved his character from his car into mine, because I had landed on one of the marriage spaces. 

He's probably joking.

He probably doesn't like me back.

I'm just going to be pining for the rest of my life. 

He's never going to like me back. 

Hels has moved his piece back, and he's gone uncharacteristically silent. Did I fucking upset him somehow? 

I fucked up, didn't I? He's moved a random piece to my car, a purple one. [I think it's supposed to represent enbys.]

But yeah, the rest of the game went on in silence, and once it was over, Hels went straight to his and Wels' room.

Wait.

Did I say some of my internal monologue out loud...

SHIT.

Yet another friendship down the drain...

I hate being Demi. 

Because it can seriously suck, in most cases. 

I hate being in love with my best friend. 

It just completely and utterly sucks. 

Who wanted this to happen to me?

Why am I the one that this has to happen to?

Why do I have to be in love?

I don't want this. No one ever does. 

...

I guess I was panicking for an hour. Xisuma went to sleep, and Hels returned. 

He must've expected for me to be asleep, from where I'm leaning on the couch it must've looked like that. 

He's sat next to me and has mumbled a half-assed apology. 

I guess I'll accept it, it's a star-

He's laughing at my reaction, which I would think is normal, because my BEST FRIEND [AND CRUSH] JUST KISSED ME. 

Then again, mumbling 'Holy Aether' over and over probably is not a normal reaction. 

I think I'll just curl into him and sleep. It's like 2 am and I'm tired.
