[Xemon POV] 

Okay so was last night a dream or did it actually happen, because Hels is acting like it didn't and if I had a dream kissing my best friend I'm just disappointed in myself. What happened to the dreams where I grew up with the hermits and X and we hung out in X and I's backyard?

Anyway, I should grab breakfast. I guess no one died last night, so I can eat my captain crunch in peace. 

That's good, well for this morning it's one of the only good things.

Because what if Hels just doesn't want to be my friend anymore.

Grian had come up to me earlier and mentioned that he heard what I said yesterday and that he had the same problem.

But the thing iS that he and Scar got together in the eND-

And I fucked up Hels and I's friendship. 

Because last night was definitely a dream. 

I'm going to head to the basement stairs because those are definitely my comfort place right now. If only I was home with X because then I could actually go to him.

But, we're with so many people, it'd be hard to vent to him without someone else hearing. 

I'm on the bottom step now. Someone's coming down, I don't know who, but it's probably someone who needs something from down here, like one of the board gamers. They've been finding the games from down here. [Besides the UNO, Grian had that in his pocket]

Turns out the person's Hels. He's sat next to me.

"Xemon. I remember everything."

I've only nodded. Because last night was a dream, so he's talking about what I said.

"First, I don't regret kissing you, and Second, I have a question."

SO IT WASN'T A DREAM??

He's finished what he's saying. 

"Will you be my boyfriend?"

I'm unable to speak, just out of pure shock. I'm pretty sure I'm not even breathing. 

So screw it, I'm giving Hels a taste of his own medicine.

By kissing him, of course.

When we finally pulled away, Hels spoke. "Scar and Grian challenged us to a game of Life." 

"Then let's beat them."

He stood up, helped me up and the two of us walked to the living room, where Scar and Grian already had it set up. 

They had chosen the Green and Red cars, leaving me with the Yellow one, and Hels with the Blue one. 

Starting off the game, Scar went the college route, and Grian the job route. Hels went Job, I went College.

Somehow, during the game, Grian got to the marriage spot pretty quickly, and as he went to grab the character piece, Scar started to grumble about how Grian was 'cheating'.

He also looked about to flip the board. I think Pearl was laughing in the background and I heard Iskall wheezing from where they were laying in Mumbo's lap.

And then Grian shut him up somehow, I didn't really notice because Hels moved his hand to my thigh.

Well now the two of them are sharing funds, and they taped[?] the two cars together. 

In retaliation, Hels did the same thing to our cars. 

And when the two of us made it to the marriage square, he kissed my cheek, and the game went on. 

In the end, Scar and Grian won, but that's because they just didn't spend their money that much. And they won multiple lawsuits against us. 

It's also pretty late at night. We've been playing for hours. 

The two others went to their room, and Hels went to get up before he seemingly went through a mental debate and pulled me into his arms. 

He's being so sweet right now, which is unusual, normally he's brash, or moreso harsh. 

Unless he's letting me see a different side to him now that we're dating. 

I truly do love this man. <3
