•3• Preparation
"Fight my men, and I'll consider your freedom."
Not a single muscle moved as spectators heard the command of the Prince. Jimin and Namjoon both had their mouths open, whilst Taehyung just tilted his head in confusion.
"You... you want me to... what?"
"Did I stutter?" Seokjin snapped back, getting a little impatient.
"N-no, sir..."
"Good," The Prince adjusted his body to a more comfortable position, leaning his arms on the sides of his throne. "So, do you accept? Or would you prefer to be thrown in the dungeon with your Elf friend?"
"N-no! I... I accept." Jimin replied, after calming himself down from accidentally stuttering again.
"Good to hear. Namjoon, give our challenger his weapons back, we can't have an unfair fight after all!" Seokjin laughed.
Just as Namjoon was leading the two younger boys away, Jimin suddenly turned back to the Prince.
"With all due respect sire, I feel as if it would be more fair on your men if I were weaponless."
"Jiminie..." Taehyung looked over at the older in worry, hoping he didn't just dig a deeper hole for them than they were already trapped in.
But this time, Taehyung didn't get what he wanted.
"Excuse me? You think you could fight and defeat my men weaponless? Are you trying to distribute a challenge now?" The Prince argued.
"What if I could?" Jimin took a step forward, further emphasising his point as servants and guards looked on in disbelief, but thankfully Taehyung grabbed his arm and pulled him back before he could get into anymore trouble.
"Jimin, just leave it, let's just go with-"
"You'd better listen to your friend, Park Jimin, he finally suggested something smart for once, considering he's an elf." The Prince's mockery was the only thing stopping Jimin from walking out the door, not tolerating Seokjin's words of ridicule towards his best friend.
"What did you say?"
"Wow, you must have really bad hearing. Or are you only able to run your mouth instead of listening to people?" Jimin's face was so red with anger that even the veins on his neck could be seen crystal clearly.
"Listen, don't think for one second that just because you're a prince, I'm gonna respect you. You're not my prince so I have no obligation to you. However, I will in fact fight your men weaponless, so you can see how weak your kingdom really is." Jimin replied, with his soft yet stern voice.
"...I see, I like your spirit, Archer. Let's see just how well you do against my soldiers..."

"You didn't have to do any of that you know..." Taehyung pouted as the boys were escorted to the training room by two soldiers, for preparation in the battle which would take place later that day. "Especially missing out the part that it was my idea..." Taehyung whispered the last part.
"Don't worry about it Taehyung, I didn't need you to get into anymore trouble anyways..." Jimin replied as they finally reached the entrance of the training room.
"This is where you can prepare, Park Jimin. Any training tools you wish to use will be inside." One of the guards said as he and the other started to walk away.
Jimin sighed as he opened the door to the dimly lit room, looking around to see dummies, targets and other necessities a training room should have.
But all that was on his mind, was how he would defeat his opponent.
