Lyana walked backstage after her big debut. She smiled brightly when she saw her mentor and long time friend, Kara smiling from ear to ear when she passed through the curtain. "Oh my goodness, little bird! You were amazing Ly. You're gonna give your dad a run for his money." She gave the blonde a big hug.

The raven haired beauty gave her a small squeeze before pulling away. "Alex would have been so proud of you tonight." A sad smile appeared on Lyana's lips as she nodded. She turned her head when she saw Kara's husband, Andy and her two kids walking down the hall. She gave Kara a quick hug before she left her friend to her family.

As she walked down the hall, she got praises and sweet comments from either people she had grown up knowing or some people who were her friends. Her mind however was elsewhere due to the date. It had been five years since her whole world had fallen apart. Memories flashed in her head of that day over and over again.

I held his hand as the monitors were beeping in the background. His gorgeous freckled face which was normally bright with color was gone. The sight of tubes and the monitors that were connected to him made my heart ache. Even though it felt like I had no tears left in me, they were still rolling down my cheeks.

The doctor walked into the room, he looked at me with regret and pity in his eyes. "Lyana, it's time." He said and I felt my heart drop.

Lyana snapped out of her train of thought when she bumped into someone hard. She stumbled a little bit and she let out a small gasp. "I'm so sorry. I should have been paying more attention." She said quickly to the tall man in front of her.

She recognized him quickly, "It's Dominik right?" She questioned. He looked at her with a small smile "Yeah, it is okay. I should have been paying attention too. I would ask for your name but everyone knows who Lyana Hardy is." He said with a little smirk which made something flutter within Ly's body.

He gave her a small wink before walking past her, "See you around Gorgeous." He said before he disappeared down the hall. Lyana shook her head quickly "Oh I can already tell that boy is trouble." She said firmly before walking into the women's locker room.
