Gabriel is far beyond furious that his son Adrien is missing and the bodyguard is nervous that his boss to blame him for losing him. Even Nathalie feels responsible for not keeping an eye on him either. Oscura and Loxodon were the cause of having to separate them during the incident. No one knows where Adrien is, not even Lila herself knows. And what's worse is that the two heroes are gone as well. Including the new heroes too that disappeared in the gateway. Without them, Gabriel can't get their miraculous to make that wish to bring his wife back.

"Leave us!" Gabriel told Placide and Lila to leave.

"Yes, Gabriel" Lila left him.

Placide kept an eye on Lila since the last time he let Adrien invite her, it was as if she made a lie about getting help with her homework assignment and that she got him and Nathalie in trouble because of her. He made a grunt for her to head home since the last few times she was allowed to set foot in that mansion, she lurked as if memorizing the mansion which she had no business doing that. But she had other things in mind.

"You lost Adrien! I told you to make sure he doesn't leave your sight!" Gabriel accuses Nathalie of this.

His secretary remained calm but there was someone that did save Adrien's life and Gabriel barely saw who it was through the tablet communication.

"Someone did jump in to save him but I lost sight of them, sir," Nathalie said.

"Whoever it was, He or She better return him back as soon as possible," Gabriel said, not looking worried but irritated.

"Sir, I searched everywhere as Mayura. They are nowhere in sight" Nathalie coughed by her terrible condition.

"This better not be the work of those two counterparts of the elephant and the jaguar," Gabriel said.

"Stop kidding yourself. You were there to meet them but they turned the tables on you" Nathalie reminded him that the evil counterparts were not fooled by his manipulation.

"Yes. Of course. But there's one thing I wonder. Was Jim Murphy aware what he found was magical?" Gabriel wondered.

"No sir" Nathalie said.

"Make sure all our agents, secret services, anything you can hire to find my son! When he's found, I'm pulling him out of school! Is that clear?!" Gabriel gets extremely angry to loses his cool.

"Yes sir," Nathalie said.

Of course, she knew Gabriel would go insane if Adrien was missing or disobeyed his father's orders, Nathalie always tries to convince Gabriel to not get so overworked up like this or get his own reputation destroyed. Emilie wouldn't be proud to see her husband enjoying Adrien's obedience towards his father like that. Especially the illness Nathalie is going through is the same thing Emilie went through and one day she'll meet the same fate as her before going into her coma. Nathalie knows that preserving Emilie's body in a repository seems wrong because keeping her alive from succumbing to her death will only bring more suffering if she's not at rest. She did accept her fate but Gabriel did not.

At the same time Marinette's, Pelle's and Luna's families worried about their disappearances since the two villains appeared.

With the heroes, they managed to survive the lava mountain of the temple. The bad news is that the villains got away again. Panthera can't seem to find her hatred against Oscura. Whether she is or not, her counterpart could be her. When she mentioned that she and Loxodon never work for anyone due to trust issues, it's the same experience Luna went through all her life at school when everyone made fun of her for having no father around, she refused to trust anyone who would one day stab her in the back but Luna is no murderer nor vengeful to take revenge on them.

"Hey, cousin. Feeline okay?" Cat Noir came up to the tree to check on her.

"Yeah, just thinking about my doppelgänger whether she could be me or not. She does speak Spanish like I do but she could be anyone" Panthera said, staring at the moon.

"Heh, reminds me of how I faced Copycat who looks and sounds like me" Cat Noir sits next to her.

"What were the differences?" Panthera asked.

"He doesn't know everything I do or remember what I say with my lady. I never lie to my lady" Cat Noir said.

"Speaking of lying, this Italian niña who works with the Gabriel brand company made a lie about me and Blu Tembo. She claims she traveled to Mexico to get an autograph from me. I became a superhero for 2 weeks and I have never been to Mexico nor ever given her an autograph because we never met at all" Panthera talking about Lila Rossi she never met.

"Lila Rossi? Ah, yes, she really causes trouble all the time" Cat Noir said.

"Define trouble," Panthera said.

"Well like the time she was Volpina, she tricked me and Ladybug" Cat Noir said.

"I've seen on the Ladyblog that akumatized victims never meant to become twisted evil like that. They barely remember anything" Panthera just thought it was an akuma influence.

"It's more than that. Like the time an Akuma victim was after her, she pretended to sprain her ankle to lure me away from Ladybug alone with a villain. It made me see through her lies that she deeply hates Ladybug. I thought it wouldn't get worse like that when she framed an innocent student at school and got her expelled, until then the expelled student was reinstated" Cat Noir explained about Lila's cruelty.

"Dios mio. That's more like a bully. She has apparently no conscience" Panthera said.

"More like she doesn't care who she hurts but it's never okay to lie to gain attention when she's never truly honest. So you can see through her lies too?" Cat Noir said.

"Si, I can," Panthera said.

"No one else can. I just hope she can change but maybe she can't" Cat Noir said, unsure if lying can be harmful in ways.

"Some people can but some just don't want to, gatito. That is up to themselves. But if they can't feel remorse or no shame at all, it only proves they don't care at all who gets hurt or who deserves to be hurt. Whether it's entertaining to them, it only makes them monsters. It's like school, new students are always the easiest targets when popular kids choose to be friends with them or humiliate them" Panthera said.

"Yep," Cat Noir said, "What could possibly go wrong next?"

"A lot worse, gatito. White lies are harmless but black lies are extremely hurtful. Telling a lie to gain a personal benefit is universally condemned. It's like on social media, people can't resist hearing what they wanna hear and it only causes more trouble and harm. Especially on believers to one day have their lives ruined by a compulsive liar if they discover the truth behind a liar. Gossip and rumors can be very hurtful if facts are not checked at all" Panthera explained how lies and deception can be very hurtful in life.

"You sure know your experiences, huh?" Cat Noir asked.

"Of course. Growing up so fast is like facing reality. I've seen on the blog that you like to flirt with Ladybug, even if she can't return her feelings to you. I know how much you love her, gatito, except you don't know her real life behind her mask. There's a difference between loving a person and loving an idol" Panthera said.

"Yeah, we're just partners now," Cat Noir said.

"Mmhmm. You have both been partners for months. Tembo and I just met two weeks ago and we became partners too. Except we are from other countries" Panthera said.

"Yep, I'm from Scandinavia," Blu Tembo said.

"Ay! Dios, don't scare me like that!" Panthera was startled.

"Sorry," Blu Tembo apologized.

"You know, those villains sure know how to observe what we do. It's like they have more experiences than we do" Ladybug climbs up.

"Maybe except they got no experience in teamwork. They don't like following orders from another nor do they wanna hear from anyone because to them they think we are manipulating them. Trust issues really got the best of them to whatever made them become bad" Panthera said, knowing it affects miserable people to one day lose all sense of who they used to be and then the next they become ruthless.

"If there was a way to talk sense into them," Blu Tembo said.

"I just hope they haven't let their hatred consume them that much. When that happens, they can't feel any hope for themselves" Ladybug said.

"Yeah, they just embrace their inner demons," Cat Noir said.

"I just hope it's not too late for them to see the errors in their outcome," Panthera said before jumping down to find food since she can get cranky without food.

"I'm starving" Cat Noir heard his tummy rumble.

"I never hunted but we need meat to fill us. Fruits aren't enough. Ay!" Panthera's stomach growled so loud at how long she hadn't eaten much. She takes her spear out and goes to a river to try to catch fish in it.

"You do love animals?" Blu Tembo asked.

"Si. But we humans are more omnivores than vegetarians. Fish food would have to do, amigos" Panthera said.

"Fair enough" Blu Tembo shrugs and picks up a nearby stick to use as a spear.

"Meow, fish hunting like cats? And I thought I was crazy for mice to eat" Cat Noir chuckled.

"Well, I suppose it's time to use your instincts, Kitty" Ladybug said.

"Milady, I'm always the cat's meow. I outran two panthers once, I can hunt fish than birds" Cat Noir flirted.

"Yeah," Ladybug then goes to fish with him.

Panthera grabs the fish with her spear before killing it with her claws to eat due to being a jaguar. Cat Noir used his pole like a fishing rod and reeled in a big fish to share with Ladybug.

"Meow, looks like I got a bigger fish for both of us, bugaboo" Cat Noir said.

"Thanks, Kitty" Ladybug pets his fake ears.

"Meow, do I get a cat treat?" Cat Noir smirked.

"Well for your bravery" Ladybug kissed his cheek.

"Thank you, Ladybug" Cat Noir shared fish with her.

"Young teenagers. They never really know who they are behind the mask yet" Blu Tembo shook his head.

"Probably their only rule to never reveal each other yet, Chico. They are still young and need more experience with responsibilities than just being superheroes. I'm sure you were the same when it comes to adults telling you need more experiences to understand better" Panthera ate her fish and spit out bones, "Just like mi mama.....my parents tell me all the time when I was still a minor back then" Panthera trying to not give out the suspicion that she was raised for 10 years without her father in her life.

"Yep. They taught me to be more responsible" Blu Tembo said.

"Especially being nice in the family. Mi familia loved celebrating birthdays and holidays. Especially the song my papi loved when he met mi mama. It's always the best when it comes to dancing and partying" Panthera scrolls on her spear phone to find the old 90s song from Maria la del Barrio.

The others listened to the song and it felt catchy to them, feeling the urge to dance. Cat Noir never heard Spanish songs since his father forbids him from ever hearing any foolish songs to rot his son's head like a bad influence. Classical piano music was his only knowledge but modern music today is more advanced and popular than classical. Maybe his father was wrong about foreign music because he probably never gave a chance to understand it.

"It's all in the hips, Chico. Don't tell me you don't know how to dance" Panthera danced.

"I'm a terrible dancer" Blu Tembo confessed.

"Fighting in battles is also like dance fighting, Chico" Panthera encouraged him.

"Okay," Blu Tembo repeats after her by holding his hands out on the sides and shaking his hips slightly while stepping back and forth with each foot.

"Eso!" Panthera smiled.

"Shall we, Kitty?" Ladybug started to dance along to them.

"Puuuuurrrrr......feisty like a panther, milady? I dance wildly in the jungle" Cat Noir danced along.

"Maybe" Ladybug teased him.

Cat Noir couldn't let his eyes off her body movements, "Me-wow. Just like when we dance fought Frightningale, bugaboo" Cat Noir said.

"Oh yeah," Ladybug chuckled.

Blu Tembo remembers his little sister taking ballet and dancing classes and he always supported her in recitals but he wasn't always the best dancer. But he encouraged her to continue. Telling her that whatever makes her happy, he will always be happy to see her smile.

He soon got the hang of the dancing, "You're right. My fighting is like dance fighting" Blu Tembo said.

"Eso," Panthera said.

Oscura observed them and she somehow did remember the old song in her world when her late father played that song. She shook her head to forget the grief of her late father and focus on her mission. That good counterpart was impossible to think she's her. She's far beyond the opposite of her.

"Ay! How can anyone be so disgustingly supportive?" Oscura scoffed before leaving the scene to never hear this again.

Loxodon was sitting somewhere else carving a piece of wood with a knife. If his elephant counterpart is truly him, he would have said some Swedish words to indicate he is him but he didn't.

"Are they still there?" He asked without turning around.

"Yes. Busy being disgustingly annoying as always like the rest of the idiots we killed in our world" Oscura said before sitting down.

"Look, I know you're in pain. So am I. As an elephant holder, I never forget but I can't erase my own memories because it doesn't work on a holder. The reason I spared your life is because you needed me the same way I needed you" Loxodon said before tossing the wood aside.

"My father and my dog were everything to me. My father died before I had Bella. The only dog I had as a friend for 15 years but she got very old. I left my family because they could not understand my grief at all but you did" Oscura explained her tragic life of feeling all alone with no one who can understand her grief and pain of losing important people in her life.

"If I could do one thing, it would be to get my family back to my life, restoring their memories" Loxodon reveals he secretly desires to get his family back even after erasing their memories.

"Without putting them in danger if your enemies went after them," Oscura said, knowing how dangerous it is for his family to remember him.

"Yeah, I know," Loxodon said.

"The elders gave us the miraculous for a reason, cabezón. I don't trust them but being the holder is a lot of fun than being a weak person who can't jump around from place to place" Oscura said.

"I let them down and when they demanded it back, I refused and got away," Loxodon said.

"Me too. They didn't put enough trust in us. The same way we put too much trust in bad people to teach us to be bad, they use our pain for selfish gain. Never again trust anyone" Oscura said, learning how life has been too cruel around her.

"Only trust each other, Luna. That's all that matters. If we do reach El Dorado, well make sure those assholes are wrong about us. We'll make them regret it for calling us weaklings and if they try to reinstate us in their criminal organization just because we are better than anyone else, we take their organization as our own so they don't try to repeat the same thing again to us or another" Loxodon said, knowing how cruel crime lords are when they replace another after another.

"I like how you think, Loxodon" Oscura replied.

"I try" Loxodon smirked evilly.

"Now, what are you gonna do to Blu Tembo when you engage him again?" Oscura asked.

"Honestly, he's very strong as I am. No matter how many times I try, it's like he has ways to match my fighting. And I suppose that purple spots are doing the same to you. The bug and cat are helping them more whenever we try to slow them down" Loxodon said before adding another log in the campfire.

"Totally. The bug and cat are just kids. I don't understand how they are capable of fighting grown adults like him and us. That black Gato is getting annoying with his puns. I hate puns" Oscura scoffed.

"Well apparently like us, the miraculous increases our strength," Loxodon said.

"Hmph, hardly. Especially with that fox we encountered, she obviously doesn't fight much. That annoying high-pitched voice almost sounds like she's acting or just trying to pretend to be all innocent just so she can stall us. I know that trick from other bitches I encountered whenever they try to be sassy, I never fall for it" Oscura said, knowing every experience from cons and liars doing all the acting without putting up a fight.

"I can smell it or hear it when someone lies and if they try on me, I get very cross" Loxodon used a British term for anger.

"Funny" Oscura rolled her eyes.

"Japp. Det är sant" Loxodon said "Yup, It's true" in Swedish.

The next morning, Ladybug woke up and saw her teammates still asleep on the ground. With a yawn, she got up and saw her partner sleeping in a curled-up position. The map Panthera found, she checked it again to be sure they were on the right path to the Golden City. These visions from Panthera and her kitty they had last night, it was like the memories of the Spaniard who used to be the Black Cat holder and was the only person to survive his journey to El Dorado and fell in love with a woman who was the Jaguar holder. The archway was the gateway and a gift to the Spaniard so that the princess jaguar could keep in touch with her people. But then as time went by, the archway became just a structure so no future generations could come to the gateway, not without the miraculous of the Jaguar. But with the arrival of Oscura, she was able to use Panthera's ring as the key.

Suddenly, tribe men came out with spears. Alerting Ladybug with a scream that woke her kitty.

"Bugaboo! What in blazes?!" Cat Noir jolted up and so did Blu Tembo and Panthera, "We're surrounded"

"Stay calm! Remain calm!" Panthera said quickly before knowing that these warriors didn't speak English, "Don't attack, guys" She said quietly before being forced to move as they pushed them.

"Agh! Not so rough!" Cat Noir said before being forced to walk.

The tribe men spoke in ancient language that they can't hear them speak their language but as soon as they take the outsiders to their secret location of the golden city, the people will decide whether to let them live or be sacrificed.

"This feels scary, Panthera. They could plan to sacrifice us" Blu Tembo whispered.

"We can't fight them. They have to be the Aztecs or maybe the Mayans. I don't know. The myth can get it wrong from time to time" Panthera said before being forced near the end of the waterfall which is covered in evaporation mist of water.

The leader walks through the waterfall and so does the rest before realizing it's a cave and the gateway.

"Kitty, I'm so scared. They don't speak English. They think we are aliens or something. Our costumes aren't like theirs" Ladybug said before being forced to get on the boat.

"Don't worry, Milady. We'll be fine" Cat Noir tries to calm her down.

"Agh! Easy! I'm getting in!" Blu Tembo getting poked by a spear.

Panthera made a big cat growl at the tribe man to be nice to her friend before getting in the boat. They were then driven down the river, the four were forced on their knees.
