Outside the Common Room

As Hera was walking to the Common Room she couldn't shake the thought of what Fulcrum had told her, about having no type of information on Stahl. However her thoughts were interrupted when she reached the door to the Common Room. Before Hera opened the door she could hear all the talking and laughter coming from Zeb, Kanan, and Chopper from a joke along with what sounded like Sabine chatting with Ezra about her past missions with the crew and at that moment Hera would have given anything for her crew...her family to stay as happy as this for the rest of their lives. Unfortunatly Hera soon brought herself back to reality and opened the door catching everyones attention. "Listen, we have a new mission from Fulcrum and its a grab n go op" Hera began explaining making everyone groan followed by Sabine saying "Hera we have been busting our butts for your contact along with Vizagos jobs for the past 3 weeks and we really need a break". Hera just looked at Sabine and said "sorry Sabine but we need to do this because if we don't we could lose our contact" getting a "and why is this contact important" from Stahl. Hera looked over at Stahl and answered his question with "its important we keep this contact because we don't have many of them and this contact has actually helped us against the Empire". When Hera was finished Sabine whispered to herself "yeah helping us, by keeping more secrets from us" catching Ezras attention because he knew that Sabine had a thing against secrets so he rubbed her back while giving her a reassuring smile which she returned the smile with another smile. "The target is an imperial ship loaded with high ranking weapons that could be devastating if they reach their destination" Hera explained and when she was finished Kanan then started explaining the plan "the ship thats transporting the weapons is a simple supply ship so getting on it should be simple". "Yeah when has any mission ever been simple" Zeb asked since every mission had some danger that risked their lives, but everyone just gave Zeb mean looks before Kanan continued with desplaying the plan "are plan is to hit the ship with a small emp blast that will take out the ship and the cargo...". In the middle of Kanans speech he was interrupted by Sabine who said "yeah there's a problem with that Kanan if the emp we set off is over what we need to take that ship out then we may end up damaging the weapons on the ship". Hera understood Sabines concern and said "that's why I'm having Chopper check how charged the emp is before we fire" in which Chopper beeped "you have nothing to worry about". "Knowing Chopper he is gonna charge it all the way just to make our contact yell at us" Ezra joked getting Zeb to laugh and making Chopper beep in anger at Ezra which Hera just shook her head while putting her hand in front of Chopper as a way of telling him to behave. Once the 3 hoodlems were done joking/fighting Kanan finished his speech "after the ship is disengaged we board the ship and take the supplies". Kanan then made sure everyone understood the plan and after he did Zeb patted Stahls back saying "don't worry about anything Mr.useless, I'm sure if we bump into trouble your body can catch the imperials shots for us" getting a response from Hera "Zeb knock it..." but didn't finisher her her sentence because Stahl punched Zeb in the face getting shocked expressions from everyone except Zeb who was keeping his nose plugged to stop any blood from coming out. Stahl then said in a dark voice "keep calling me that and I'll keep punching you". Zebs only reply to Stahl was a chuckle knowing that even though he messed with Ezra a lot and had his share of pranks from him this kid would surely be the death of him. After that was done with Hera said "we will be arriving in a hour so gear up" and left the Common Room followed by everyone else getting their gear ready.

On Imperial ship at the hull

On the hull of the ship The Grand Inquisitor was staring out into the empty void of space waiting to hear the report from agent Kallus about the trap preparations. About 3 minutes later Kallus came in saying "the trap is set Inquisitor but I don't think that the insurgents are going to fall for the same trap twice". The Grand Inquisitor turned towards Kallus saying "the Jedi and his crew are gullable enough, the trap will work again, but you are right about one thing agent". This caught Kalluses attention because he never heard the Inquisitor tell him he was right so Kallus asked "what am I right about". "Your right about the fact that I don't think Stahl is that gullible, he may suspect that this is a trap and be a trouble as last time" the Inquisitor answered getting Kallus confused about who the Inquisitor was talking about when he said "Stahl". "Forgive the question Inquisitor but who is this Stahl" Kallus asked receiving a "that's my information agent" along with a "now go tell your men to get into position our guests will be arriving within the hour" to which Kallus responded with "yes Inquisitor" and leaving the hull. After Kallus left the hull the Grand Inquisitor staired out into the black space saying to himself "come on Stahl, lets see if you can save your friends this time" then heading to where Kallus and his men were set for the ambush.

1 hour later

"This transport 55 state your business corellian ship" the Captain of the transport said to Hera who responded with "my ship is in need of repairs our engine has taken on a gas leak and our batteries are near explosion". The rest of the crew was on the bridge with her like they always are before a mission with Kanan sitting in the co-pilot seat, Ezra in the seat behind him, Zeb standing against the comm link, Chopper charging up the emp, Sabine sitting in her colorful chair, and Stahl leaning against the wall next to Sabine. As Hera kept distracting the Captain Stahl started having a funny feeling about the mission or more particularly the ship that the mission took place. Stahl then tapped Sabines should asking "hey Sabine does this feel like deja vue to you" "no, why" Sabine asked getting a "I don't know I just have this funny feeling like this has happened before. Be on your guard" from Stahl who went back to starring at the ship. Then suddendly the Ghosts emp emitter shot the transport cutting off their power including the comms. "Oh and our electrical charge is about to shoot" Hera joked while docking the ship as the crew headed to the docking tube. Before they got to the docking tube Kanan grabbed Stahls shoulder saying "aren't you forgetting something spectre 7" which Stahl just responded with "no". "Your forgetting these" Kanan said while pulling out Stahls twin lightsabers from behind his back. Stahl just looked at the lightsabers for a bit before he said "I'm not a Jedi, I don't deserve them" making Kanan a little confused but he just said "listen you may not be a Jedi yet but its always better to have an extra weapon just in case" pushing the lightsabers closer to Stahl. Even though Stahl didn't want to use or even see those tools again he knew that Kanan wouldn't let him go on the mission without them so he just gave a grunt before taking them and putting one behind each shoulder then saying to Kanan "happy now?" in which Kanan responded with "very" as they went inside the transport.

On the transport

Since the emp blast didn't just take out the ship but also most of the crew on the ship it was like a sweet walk. However Stahl didn't think so, the funny feeling he had was still bothering him causing him to do as he told Sabine and stay on his guard. As the crew got closer to the supply room with Chopper leading the way with the rest of the crew behind them Kanan asked Sabine "Sabine, why is Stahl behind us with his hands on his blasters" "I have no idea he told me on the Ghost that this all seems familiar to him, like deja vue" Sabine responded with receiving a "is there something about this mission that makes him feel that way" from Ezra. Sabine thought about that question and she couldn't figure out why he was feeling this so she responded with "I don't know". "Bah Mr. Useless is just trying to spook us out with his tough guy act" Zeb said getting funny looks from Kanan, Ezra, and Sabine even though she was wearing her helmet so Zeb couldn't see her face expression. "What" was all Zeb said since he didn't understand why the crew was giving him mean faces but all he got was a "well even still lets at least be on our guard" from Kanan as Chopper beeped "we are here ladies and gentlemen, and annoying lasat and useless brat. We are here" making Sabine giggle about the annoying Lasat getting Zeb to ask "what did he say" to only get a laugh from Chopper. After Chopper opened the door Kanan ordered the astromec to go back to the Ghost which Chopper just beeped sarcastically "yes sir" and rolled back to the Ghost. The cargo room was mostly empty when the crew got in there, the room only consisted the weapon crates along with a few other crates. "Huh cargo seems pretty empty this time" Sabine said as she took off her helmet since there were no bucket heads to shoot her, Kanan then said "must be a short shipment today" as he inspected the supply crates that had their weapons. As Kanan was checking the supplies he found the manifest lying on one of the crates and picked it up to make things go faster since the rest of the crew were just waiting for him to confirm that this was the weapons crate they were trying to steal. As Kanan looked through the manifest Stahl was looking around the room because his feeling kept getting him to the point where he said "this doesn't feel right" catching the others attention. "What do you mean" Kanan asked "its just this feels all too familiar" Stahl said as he kept looking around. "Kid I think your now becoming crazy, try to relax" Zeb said annoyed of Stahl as he looked at the manifest with Kanan. "So did you find out if these are the weapons we're after" Zeb asked since he wasn't sure if it was "yes it is and check this out these weapons can disentagrate its target with just one shot" Kanan answered making Sabine and Stahl widen their eyes. When Stahl and Sabine heard this it was as if they were being told history itself because these weapons were the same weapons Sabine tried to take on her solo mission before she ran into the Inquisitor. Sabine and Stahl then turned towards each other seeing each others shocked expression, then Stahl walked over to the weapons crate but Zeb stood in his way saying "hey listen Mr. Useless these aren't meant to be played with so..." but was interrupted with Stahls fist to his face followed by "I told you if you call me that that that will happen". Stahl then walked up to the crate standing next to Kanan saying "there is something I need to see" "what is it" Kanan responded with and got a "I need to open this crate" from Stahl. Even though Kanan and his crew were behind schedule he let Stahl investigate because he knew Stahl had his reasonsfor doing this. Stahl then flipped the latch on the crate. Stahl then opened the crate to find nothing in it making Stahl widen his eyes as he heard a beeping from the door in front of him making him yell "GET DOWN" before an explosion sent all of the crew flying backwards. When the explosion leveled down stormtroopers started coming in followed by Kallus ordering "take them all prisoner" but didn't expect anyone to recover that quickly because Zeb pulled out his bo-rifle and started shooting troopers who fired back at him making him take cover behind a long crate. Sabine and Ezra had taken cover behind 2 other crates across from where Zeb was. Since Kanan was closer to Zeb he pulled out his lightsaber blocking and redirecting shots back towards the stormtroopers as he got closer to Zebs spot. However since Stahl was closest to the explosion it took him longer to recover from the effect, but as he slowly did he briefly saw troopers attacking both sides of the room followed by the others who shot back at them. Stahl could also see agent Kallus shooting at Zeb who tried his best to shoot back at Kallus but with all the firepower coming at him he could only manage to hit troopers who were approaching his and Kanans spot. On the other side Ezra was using his slingshot which wasn't affecting the troopers in any way but Sabines shots were, she managed to take down 2 of the closest troopers before she threw one of her miracles spreading the stormtroopers out and killing 5 of them. Once Stahls vision was back he took cover behind a crate that was between both spots, then he pulled out his weapons and started firing at the troopers causing some of them to divert their blasting which made the battle a little more even. As the battle was continueing the Grand Inquisitor stepped into the room to see who he should attack. The Grand Inquisitor saw the Lasat and the Jedi at the left side of the room, the demon in the middle of the battlefield which the Inquisitor wanted to take out first, but when he saw who was on the right side he said in pleasure "ahhh the padwan and the mandalorian" and started walking over towards their side. Stahl must have sensed this because he looked over his right shoulder to see the Inquisitor with his lightsaber activated walking towards Sabine and Ezra. Stahl then shot at 3 more troopers before he force pushed them back so he could focus on the Inquisitor which he force pushed him making him fly and hit crates that were in the back. Once Stahl saw the Inquisitor hit the crates he found himself under fire again from more storm troopers making him take cover behind his crate again. When Stahl was behind his crate he activated his comm link and said through it "Sabine Ezra you need to get out of here now and get back to Hera" "ummm last I checked you weren't calling the shots Stahl and were not leaving you and Kanan and Zeb here" Sabine said as she shot down 2 more troopers. After Stahl heard Sabines response he didn't even bother arguing with her because he knew how mandos were so he managed to force push both of them outside the door on their side and shoot the control panel shutting the door.

Outside the cargo room

Sabine and Ezra just went flying from their spot and when they landed they saw that they were outside the room followed by Stahl shooting the control panel locking both of them out. "Grrrrrrr you idiot" Sabine yelled hitting the cargo room door which they could still hear the battle going on in there. Sabine then looked at the control panel on her end and said to Ezra "Ezra we have to get back in there" running over to the panel trying to open the door. Ezra ran over to her side putting his hand on her shoulder saying "Sabine we have to leave right now", Sabine couldn't believe what she was hearing from her boyfriend "what. Ezra we have to get in there and help them" Sabine told Ezra who said "I know but we will also be helping them if we manage to get back to Hera and escape so we can come save them". "Ezra I can't belive what I'm hearing from you" Sabine yelled at him for wanting to leave their friend (Stahl only) and family (Kanan and Zeb) behind. Ezra understood her anger and said calmly "Sabine I understand your concern for them but the Inquisitor is in there..." but was interrupted by Sabine who yelled "all the more reason to help them Ezra". "Sabine we are no good to them captured or dead" Ezra said finally getting to Sabine who thought about the two choices she had and the consequences that followed them and after a little bit she nodded her head in agreement and both of them started running back towards the Ghost.

In the cargo room

After Sabine and Ezra were thrown out the storm troopers started putting heavy fire on Stahl and Kanans side since there wasn't a 3rd target to shoot at. After a little bit the Inquisitor got up from the crates he was thrown against and he saw that the padwan and mandalorian were gone. The Grand Inquisitor looked over to see Stahl shooting at more and more troopers who fell to his Westar-35s making him have a little anger in his voice while saying "that boy just keeps causing me trouble". The Grand Inquisitor then told the remaining troops that were shooting at Stahl to focus their attention at the other insurgents. Once the other troopers started shooting at the Lasat and Jedi the Grand Inquisitor walked over to Stahl saying "funny isn't it Stahl, how that this ship I ambushed you on is the same ship that when we first mett. Remember that night when you stopped me with that mando and battled me" getting Stahl to finally realize why the ship felt so familiar to him. Stahl then looked over the crate to see the Inquisitor standing near it with his lightsaber activated, even though Stahl wanted a rematch he looked over to see if Kanan and Zeb where in trouble but never got the chance because the Inquisitor used the force to move the crate so he could walk towards him. "Now isn't this strange young boy. Here you are on the same ship which I bested you, only this time there is two of the crew members to watch you fail again" the Inquisitor said as Stahl pulled out his two lightsabers and activated them as the Inquisitor approached him. Stahl then charged at the Inquisitor trying to slash his left side but the Inquisitor just blocked it with ease and started to attack Stahl with a series of quick slashes that Stahl managed to block much better than in their first fight. On the other side of the battle Kanan and Zeb were in serious trouble because the troopers were making their advancement on them. "Well what are we going to do now" Zeb asked since he didn't have any of Sabines miracles to help them this time, Kanan looked over the crate to see Stahl battling the Inquisitor and saw this as their chance to escape. Even thought deep down Kanan felt bad about leaving Stahl to the Inquisitor he knew if they could escape they would be able to rescue him again. "Ok Zeb this is what were gonna do I'm going to force push the crates at the troopers and then were gonna run out of the door they blew open" Kanan explained and Zeb asked "alright but what about Mr. Useless" "we can save him if there is more of us from the Empire's hands" Kanan answered somewhat making Zeb happy that Stahl wouldn't be with them for a bit. Kanan looked over the crate again to see troopers getting closer and closer. Kanan then looked at Zeb and said "ready" which Zeb said "ready". Kanan then started counting "1...2..." but didn't finish because from behind Zeb Kallus came up and electrocuted Zeb knocking him out in which Kanan tried to shoot Kallus but a trooper came behind stunning Kanan knocking him out too. In the battle between Stahl and the Inquisitor Stahl was using the same battle strategy he used in his battle against Bo Katan during his trial which the Inquisitor recognized intriguing him to say "so your using the same fight tactics as you did against Katan". When Stahl heard this he said in shock "h-how do you know about that" and got a "someone recorded the battle, apparently people thought a 4 year old mandalorian doing his right of passage would go down in history....if he passed" from the Inquisitor as he took advantage of Stahls shocked expression to kick his lightsabers out of his hands. When Stahl felt the pain of the kick and the lose of his lightsabers from his hands he kicked the Inquisitor on his left knee then on his chest making him back up from him. Stahl then took advantage of his advantage and pulled out both of his blasters. When the Inquisitor saw this he said "uh uh uh I wouldn't do that if you wanted your friends to live" getting Stahl to look over to see Kanan along with Zeb being cuffed and unconscious. Stahl then looked back at the Inquisitor who was smiling, Stahl didn't want anything to happen to Kanan or Zeb so he dropped his blasters, got on his knees with his hands behind his head and the next thing he knew his vision went black.

On the Ghost away from the last place

Hera managed to get the ship away from the cargo ship but after she heard the news of what happen she couldn't contain the tears from the fact that her crew members and lover were in the custody of the Empire. Ezra tried to comfort her by saying that they will save them which did help her a bit but she was still hurt. They all were and they all were going to have to work together if they were going to save their friends.
