"uh...sonic, where are we?" tails asked as he look around.

"welcome to the Wade Cave" said wade with his arms spread out, tails walked around observing the place as sonic walks a bit and Y/N is just leaning against the wall with his arms cross, busy in his thoughts about earlier.

"which is something I'd hope to say to a women, a women who's not my mom" wade added in a whisper tone, sonic turn to look at wade.

"wade focuse, Y/N!" Sonic called out to Y/N causing the A/C echidna look at the blue hedgehog as he walked towards him.

"i need to find out why knuckles thinks I'm the key on finding the master emerald and why he mentioned lowclaw, since you said your his brother i need you to tell me why" sonic said stopping infront of him in a serious expression, Y/N look at him with a troubled expression.

They all look at the A/C echidna as he stared down he turn his hands into fists.

"...i..i don't know..." he finally said making sonic to raise a brow.

"wait what? What do you mean you don't know?" said sonic as Y/N glared at him.

"i just don't know okay?! i was a child back then, Father didn't tell me why..i.." Y/N stop his sentence as he look away with his eyes shut close gritten his teeth, wade is just silent as he felt some drama in the atmosphere, sonic just stared at Y/N as tails is in thought.

" there must be a connection "said tails causing sonic to look at him.

" wait a minute, there is Look. There's a emerald symbol on the map longclaw gave me" sonic said grabbing the map out of his sidebag and and unfolded it as he let tails see it, Y/N is silent as he slightly look away feeling useless and shame.

"something's happening" tails said caughting everyone's attention, sonic panicked a bit dropping the map as the map glows more as blue smoke came out, and then a mobian owl is revealed causing their eyes to go wide, especially Y/N and sonic since well Y/N remembered that owl warrior he run passed just to get to sonic back in the day, his jaw dropped.

" this world has been chosen for a very important reason it's the secret location of the master emerald" said longclaw spreading her wings revealing the image of the green gem as sonic look amazed seeing it Y/N however have his attention on the image of the master emerald as his eyes widen.

"...so that's what my tribe so desperately to find.." Y/N whispered to himself as he already see himself wanting to touch it and make himself snapped out of it.

"the gem has the power to turn thoughts into reality" longclaw said as they all stared at the green emerald.

"like the stay puft marshmallow man from ghost busters" mumbled wade causing Y/N to look at him weirdly, tails shush him and both him and Y/N focuse back on the situation.

"in the wrong hands it could threaten all life in the universe, protecting the emerald was my sacred duty, And now i must pass that responsibility to you" she said as the emerald dissapeard from their sights and she fold her wings back. Y/N stared at sonic then back at the owl warrior he gulp.

"this...is my moment..." he said as he stared at his adopted mother's message.

"follow the map, find the emerald and keep it safe...my dear sonic, you have a heart like no other creature I've ever known, i love you so much...good bye" she saod as she soon dissapeard, Y/N look away slightly feeling a bit jealous that sonic got to see or even hear his parent even if it's just a message.

"no no no, wait..." he said reaching his hand to her but she completely dissapeard as a piece of blue hologram feather goes to his hand and he cleanch it.

"...i won't let you down, longclaw..." he said, tails look at sonic with sympathy as he look at Y/N and sees him have his arms crossed starring down with a unreadable expression, tails have a bad feeling about him As silent filled the area.

"...so..was that, your dad? "wade decided to break the silence as he point at tails making them to look at him confused especially tails.

" what? "tails asked as wade blink, Y/N have a urge to face-palming.

" no? "he asked again, sonic decided to walk over the map and grab it.

"hey uh you, can you go over right there?" tails ask making the A/C echidna look at him confused he look where his pointing at and sees it's in the corner of the room, he just stared at it and just obeyed tails going over there as tails look at sonic.

" sonic...i don't think it's a good idea to have him here" tails said gesturing at Y/N as sonic look at the A/C echidna then back at the fox.

"tails, i know his a echidna like that knuckles guy and the ones who tried to kill me and my mother back then..but he changed and his 4 years old back then, he doesn't know what was going on that much" sonic said as tails shakes his head.

"still sonic, i have a bad feeling around him...and don't forget his knuckle's brother then his no different than him" said tails as sonic felt a bit disappointed on him.

"tails, don't judge the book by it's cover even his related to him doesn't mean his like him, do you forget that knuckles almost killed him by choking him to death?" said sonic, tails was about to counter it but stops when he doesn't know what to say next, sonic put his hands on his waist proving his point.

"his my friend, and i live with him for months and so trust him...i wish you would also accept him tails"he said as he mention Y/N to go back making the echidna blinked and goes back in the group. Wade is just silent and watched the whole thing, Tails just let out a sigh.

"well according to this map, the first clue is in siberia, it's a compass that will lead to the emerald" said sonic as he look at the map.

"but my brother...knuckles is already here for that emerald aswell...meaning.." Y/N stops his sentence at Tails finish it for him.

"it's a race" said tails as Y/N nodded, as wade spoke making them to look at him.

"knuckles? I knew a kid in middle school named knuckles, could fit his whole fist to his mouth, if this is the same knuckles, we are screwed" said wade making Y/N to look at him weirdly and raise a brow as tails blinked.

"this knuckles, that knuckles it doesn't matter. We're ganna get there first" he said as he throw the ring creating a ring portal to a place with snow.

"wait sonic are you sure to bring this echidna with you? What if he backstab you?" tails asked making Y/N to glance at him.

"i would never betray anyone, even his once my former enemy i wouldn't never do that for whatever reason fox" said Y/N with slight annoyance in his voice as tails glared at him.

"his right tails, and plus his not the only one coming" he said making both mobians to look at him.

"your bringing the idiotic human too?" said Y/N pointing at wade as sonic shake his head.

"not wade...him"said sonic looking at tails it took them a minute as their eyes widen.

Both of them said it at the same time with disbelief as sonic nodded putting his hands on his waist, tails shakes his head.

"no no no, I'm just here to warn you, I'm not a field guy" said tails as Y/N nodded.

"and i don't think he have a experience to even these kind of situations, i don't even think he can survive" Y/N said to sonic as sonic just shake his head.

"don't worry i got his back, i got both of your backs. I won't let anything happen to both of you" said sonic as he lift his hand in a fist position as Y/N recognized it as he let out a sigh knowing what this meant while tails is confused but slightly concern.

"it's called a powerbump, on earth it means a unbreakable promise" said sonic with a smile as the two walked over tails look unsure as Y/N let out a annoying groan.

"I'm ganna regret this..." he mumbled forming his hand into a fist and bump his own fist to sonic as both of them look at the fox, the fox look unsure but he turn his expression to a determination one.

"alright...i'm in" he said joining in the fist bump.

Agent Stone made a coffee for Robotnik, then the doors opened revealing the doctor himself as agent stone look at his new look.

"doctor...it's really is you...you look different" he said as the doctor point at the high.

"papa's got a brand new 'stache" as he spin one time and let out a "ah!" loudly as agent stone smiled.

"i knew it, i knew it! I knew you'd come back, sir" he said bringing the coffee in the tray and walked over to robotnik.

"i never stop steaming your austrian goat's milk" he said with a smile as the doctor takes it and take a sip, that's when knuckles came in, his face darkens and have a unreadable expression.

"...could use a mushroom" he said making agent stone to look at him with a expression, he look down and sees the echidna.

"y..you brought something" he said mentioning the red mobian beside the doctor.

"some kind of...space porcupine." he said that made knuckles snapped out of his thoughts and look at agent stone with a glare.

"porcupine? I'm an echidna! Trained since birth in all forms of lethal combat, destined to honor to my tribe and willing to destroy anything that gets in may way" he said with anger as he continue his glare

"an echidna? Like the A/C echidna one? Interesting, well welcome to the team" he said lift his hand for a handshake, knuckle's face darkens even more at thr mention of his younger brother as he grabbed the humans hand and slightly crushed it making agent stone scream in pain kneeling down.

When knuckles let go, agent stone panted at his broken hand in pain making robotnik chuckled and get to agent stone's level with a smile.

"that means he trust you, stone" he said with a mischievous smirk as knuckles look away slightly with his face still darknened in a deep think about someone.

"now let's renovate this dump!" he said that made knuckles snapped out of his thoughts again as he heard agent stone about a latte with a goat's milk, he wondered what that even means.

Soon knuckle's eyes widen slightly seeing the once cashier counter turns into high tech computer with a robotnik logo in the center, he blink as his expression turns into a serious one.

"i absolutely can't find my way!" sonic screamed through the winter storm as they struggled walking a bit, Y/N force himself to walk pass them and tried to hide his struggle he let out a silent grunt.

"we are completely totally, unequivocally lost" said sonic making Y/N to turn to him and glared at him.

"oh you should have thought of this before going straight to the portal!" Y/N argued at him, sonic just let out a smile and shrugged making Y/N to glare at him as his eye twitch in anger.

"guys! In this weather, there's no way we're ganna get any readings on this thing. Should we go back?" ask tails holding his own gadget.

"i agree with the fox we need to go back and warm up before we go" said Y/N agreeing to tails's suggestion,but sonic denies it.

"no no no, there's a light up ahead. Maybe we can take shelter in there" said sonic pointing at somekind of a cabin ahead, as he keeps going, Y/N let out a sigh, he stopped seeing tails shivered in cold he look at him before going over to him.

"h-hey what are yo-" tails didn't manage to finish his sentence when he suddenly got carried in the back by Y/N and start to follow sonic.

Tails blinked as he didn't complain since his too cold to resist as he wrap his arms on Y/N's neck making the echidna flinched at the sudden embrace but didn't say anything and keep going.

They sees sonic looking over before saying "perfect" and look at them, he blink in suprised seeing them like that putting a smile on his muzzle.

"are you sure about this? We don't know who's inside" said tails as Y/N nodded.

"and plus isn't this considering...uh..t..trespassing..?" Y/N asked remembering the word he heard one time from tom when his in a phone call with someone and asked about it and tom explained it to him on what it is.

"don't worry, on earth people are very welcoming and love to taking complete strangers to their home, right Y/N?" he asked the echidna making the blink.

"..i don't remember that, the only time i remember is when we first met King Donut lord and he sho-" Sonic quickly cover Y/N's mouth making tails blink.

" what? What happened? "tails asked as sonic smiled sheepishly.

" don't worry about it, his just saying nonsense "he said making Y/N to glare at him.

Tails blink as Y/N look away in annoyance as sonic look back he have his eyes on the clothes.

The poeple are enjoying their time that is until the door opened making them stop and look, they sees three small beings which are Sonic, Y/N and Tails all wearing a winter outfit and all.

Y/N wears a A/C long scarf with A/C patterns, a big A/C winter jacket and the hood with fur around the edge of the hood that is over his head hidding his deadlock quills, a A/C baggy pants and A/C boots. He have same goggles as sonic and tails.

Y/N felt slightly uncomfortable by the atmosphere in the cabin as the humans glance at them in a scary way making sonic and tails scared while Y/N glared at the humans that made sonic and tails afraid, but they became relief a bit seeing a older lady just knitting but showed a skull sign she works on making sonic and tails scared again but Y/N just look interest on what she's doing.

Then a butcher slice the head of the fish and use the butcher knife to slide it off the table making it roll to the trio and directly look at them making them look at it with fear while Y/N raise a brow, then the fish spoke that said "Run" and that's when tails couldn't take it anymore making him faint but Y/N managed to caught him in time, Sonic blink and lift his hand with 3 fingers sign.

"table for three please!" he said with a cheerful tone making the echidna to look at him still have the fox on his hold.

When they got to the table and tails finally awake, the waitress put three menus infront of them, and asked them in a different language.

Tails use his gadget and look at the waitress.

"three beaf stews please" he said as the gadget translate it for him, the waitress look offended and taking the three menus before walking off.

"where'd you get all these cool gadgets?" sonic asked as Y/N also looked at tails just because he seems bored for a while, his leaning agaisnt the chair with arms cross.

"i invented them, it's kinda my thing. Infact my inventions are the one that discovered you" tails said making sonic and Y/N blinked.

"remember that night in the baseball field?" tails asked as sonic have a realization expression as Y/N blink in slight confusion until he also remembered, he spied sonic at that time thinking for a trap but that was interrupted when a sudden blue shockwave knock him over to the dirt.

"your energy blast reach all the way to my home planet, i saw you save your village from that crazy mustache guy and also saw Y/N too but i thought you both are enemies because he keep chasing you down and fighting you" said tails as Y/N raise a brow as sonic blink.

"wait, so you've been watching me the whole time?...even the shower?" he asked in slight uncomfortable tone.

"ah that's a trick question, sonic the hedgehog preperfs bubble baths" he said with a smile making Y/N to look at him weirdly.

"i think that's what humans called invading privacy" said Y/N as tails blinked.

"man, your good!" sonic compliment tails ignoring Y/N's statement.

"when i heard knuckles is on your trail, i knew i couldn't sit back and watch anymore...i thought...Y/N called knuckles over to earth so i have to warn you..and because...well i have been creating a lot of theories on why Y/N helped you fight that mustache guy" said tails with a slight guilt in his tone as sonic look over at Y/N.

"...and let me guess...all of them is about me being a traitor and backstabbing the hedgehog?" Y/N asked not suprised as tails slowly nodded.

"but I've seen sonic on how much he trusted you and living with him too...so I'm guessing i should start to trust you too aswell..." said tails as Y/N is silent, before patting his head before leaning against the chair more with his eyes closed and putting his arms behind his head, tails blinked.

" it's alright...being a echidna immediately mean I'm a big bad wolf or something because of my clan's past...so i understand why you acted that way" Y/N said Turning his attention to the yellow fox as tails blinked but smiled, sonic smiled brightly seeing the two already forming a bond now.

"now that's more like it! You two are besties now that's all better!" sonic said as tails smiled a bit bright as Y/N just closed his eyes again having a slight relax short time.

Then a noise is heard making them look as sonic pulled out his phone.

"what? Hold on one sec, donut lord is checking in" sonic said starting to type as that caught Y/N's attention

"the King?" Y/N asked as sonic nodded tails blinked on confusion on who 'King' is.

"just chilling...watching TV..dot...dot dot..." said knuckles in slight confused tone but still have his glare, robotnik and agent stone slowly look at knuckles that is still continuing saying "dot dot dot" they slowly look back.

"doctor...why are we working with this imbecile?" agent stone whispered to robotnik.

"because that simple-minded space trash is the key to something extraordinary" robotnik answered.

"something to help you get revenge on that hedgehog and the other echidna." he said looking back at the screen.

"think bigger stone, his a brother of that other A/C menace echidna that is with that hedgehog, and not only that the emerald he seeks could power my wildest designs, my genius wouldn't just be recognize on earth, it would spread virally to every corner of the galaxy allowing me to harness all the negativity forces of the galaxy and commune darkness itself" said robotnik at agent stone blink.

"woah...that sounds big" he commented.

"it's been in my vision board for years, it's the law of attraction didn't you see the secret...kaplooey" he said gesturing his hands to a explosion look as agent stone repeated with a smile until knuckles spoke.

"another boring night at home..the hedgehog and my brother has returned home!" he said quickly putting his fist on the counter.

"falsa, which is latin for wrong-o according to may worldwide network cell tower triangulation, he's lying all the way from the majestic hinterlands of eastern Siberia.

" that's a long distance liar! "he said trying to hurt the hologram of the blue hedgehog as knuckles blinked as he watch on what his doing.

" yeah, that's more where i came from" he said until knuckles smash his fist on where the hologram of sonic is, looking at robotnik with straight face.

"tiny magical hedgehog destroyed, now let's continue our quest " he said with a determination tone as he started to walk away and the doctor just followed.

"wait, what about your minion? The goat milker" he said looking at agent stone.

"there's no more room for stone, i say we ditch him, ghost him, blow him off" he said ad he started to walk knuckles look at the doctor before glarring at him.

"dishonor" he said as robotnik turn to look at him.

" 'dis' is how i roll" he said before walking out of the door, knuckles is silent for a moment before following him outside, to begin his search he have been doing and gettibg rid of that hedgehog...and he also decided to bring his younger brother back in shape once he find him.
