Sonic looked worried he wanted to help, but everytime he did the red echidna hurt Y/N more.

Y/N can't move his terrified, he didn't think his brother would be here. This planet, what is he doing here? Isn't he suppose to be back home? Are the other echidnas also here? Is his father here too?

Knuckles glared at Y/N, still have his grip on his arm.

"it is my destiny to do what our ancestors couldn't not...what you couldn't do.." knuckles said to Y/N as Y/N eyes widen knowing what he meant.

Then he turn his glare to sonic as he harden his glare on him.

"to restore the ultimate power, to the home of our people..."knuckles continued as sonic blinked.

" ultimate power? I don't know what your talking about, You got the wrong guy!"sonic denied to the red echidna still trying to think of a way to free Y/N away from him.

"k-knuckles! You don't understand! He doesn't-" Y/N got cutted off when robotnik spoke.

"ultimate power? Now your speaking my language" Robotnik said as Y/N glared at him, Y/N yelped when knuckles yanked his arm Turning his attention to sonic.

"don't play dumb with me! You may have fooled Y/N but you won't ever fool me, apprentice of longclaw" said knuckles, sonic have his eyes widen hearing his adopted mother's name.

"you knew longclaw?" he asked as Y/N look between knuckles and sonic he gulp knowing this won't be good.

"knuckles-" Y/N tried again but got his mouth shut by knuckles.

"silence!" he shut Y/N as he turn his attention back to sonic.

"longclaw and her people were the sworn enemies of my tribe, the echidna" knuckles said as sonic stared at knuckles with wide eyes as he look at Y/N and sees him looking away in shame.

Now he knows why Y/N is so desperate on trying to capture him in the past but sonic questioned, why won't Y/N tell him?

"they fought and died at their hands" Y/N's eyes widen after hearing that as he look at knuckles with wide eyes as he went pale.

'their...dead..?"Y/N thought as knuckles continued.

" and you will die on my-"knuckles stopped when they heard police sirens making all of them look.

Then a police car came, sonic sees knuckles distracted and took this chance as he quickly snatched Y/N away from knuckle's grip making knuckles to look.

Then that's when he got hit by the front of the car, hitting him and destroying the storage house because of the impact.

Robotnik blinked in shock as he did some robot movements and even making the noise.

"you okay?" sonic asked Y/N as Y/N only stared but slowly nodded then a yellow fox mobian pop his head from a car window.

"come on, get in i'm on your side!" he said making both sonic and Y/N to look at him.

"I'm sorry who are you?" sonic asked as they heard some groaning and sees knuckles groan, Y/N flinched as sonic stared at Y/N and back at the fox.

"you know what? It doesn't matter" sonic said as he open the other door and shoving Y/N in and get to the front sit beside the fox.

Then they both got startled by robotnik suddenly showing up infront of the windshield of the car.

"Quick! Get us out of here!" sonic said to the yellow fox as he look at his device as he make the car move.

Then robotnik start to growl like a dog and start to lick the window making them look with disgust.

"gross! is he licking it?" tails asked but that remained unanswered as he move the car, Y/N is still silent processing what just happened today.

"see ya!" tails said and he took a sharp turn getting the doctor off the car.

"make sure you got a shot eggman!" sonic shouted to eggman and they drive off.

Knuckles soon recovered as he glared at the car driving away, his eyes glowed furiously red and move quickly to chase after them making a red eletric streak came out from behind.

"wow, okay let me just say it is a honor to finally meet you sonic, is it okay to call you sonic? Everyone call me tails. Your probably wondering why?" tails asked as sonic look at him and stared and sees the extra tail.

"let me guess, because of the extra tail?" sonic said with slight unimpressed expression as tails look at him with a smile

"that's right! I should've have known you get that" tails said continuing to drive.

"cool, also what's going on?! Robotnik's back And Y/N how did that clifford the big red rage monster know you and who is he?!" sonic asked while Y/N is still silent starring down doesn't want speak, tails decided to answer it for him.

"that's knuckles the last of the echidnas, well i didn't know there's another one so i guess last TWO of the echidnas, the most dangerous  in the galaxy, he's obsessed on finding the master emerald" tails answered as he look at him and look back to continue to drive.

"are you serious? The master emerald? that's just a bedtime story, right Y/N?" sonic said looking at Y/N that is still silent looking shameless and guilty, sonic stared at him with confusion but also concern.

"well he belive it's real, and he must think your the key to finding it" tails said to him as sonic look at tails then at Y/N, he look and sees the red light on the traffic lights making his eyes go wide.

"red light! Red light! Give me the wheel" sonic said taking over the wheel while tails blinked in suprised

"hey! Where are you-" tails didn't finish as sonic take the wheel controlling the car trying to avoid the other cars, Y/N in the back hit the wall of the car because of the sudden turn and tight his grip to try and stop himself from folliwng the force.

They then avoid the green truck, sonic look at the mirror on the car and sees the red echidna nowhere making him sigh in relief.

"i think we lost him" right after he said that the green truck bursted as the red echidna is revealed and continue to chase after them.

He then launched himself on top of the car and punching it from the top, as his fist came out from the ceiling and Y/N have to duck to avoid getting hit while both of sonic and tails yelped in suprised.

"we did not lose him, we definitely did not lose him!" sonic panickly said, Y/N is in deep thinking soon his stare turn into a angry glare as he suddenly stand up causing both of them to look.

"hey! Wait Y/N what do you think your doing?!" Sonic asked as if the Y/C echidna lost his mind, Y/N look at them with a determination look.

"I'll fight my brother." he answered sonic making sonic and tails look at him with a shock expression.

"Your brother?!" sonic asked with shock and disbelief but Y/N didn't answer him.

When knuckles take off the door car he suddenly get punched in the face making him let go of the door car stumbling back, he almost fell off but he manage to balance himself. He sees Y/N get up to the top of the car as they met face to face with eachother.

The rush of the wind goes past them as both of their deadlock quills follow through the wind, both echidnas glared at eachother.

Y/N's hands turned into fists clenching them as spark of A/C electricity came out of them, knuckles glared back at the younger, his eyes glowed furiously purple.

"...so..you have decided to turn against your tribe...agaisnt your own blood" said with anger in his voice as Y/N glared at him making his eyes glowed valiant A/C.

"i didn't betray anyone!....your mistaken knuckles, the hedgehog is clueless!" Y/N protested making knuckles growl even louder as he suddenly tried to punch him and Y/N quickly avoid it.

"Liar! He know where it is, i don't know how he managed to fooled you...you were a child after all, when you sneak away and disobeyed father's order!" knuckles said trying to keep himself balanced and continue to attack as Y/N keep on dodging it trying to find a opening to attack.

"i tried to capture him! I tried everything to make our tribe proud!..to make you and father proud! but he open my eyes.." Y/N said back to him as he managed to caught knuckle's punch as Y/N look at him with a sadden look.

"brother, you have to understand" Y/N said in a gentle tone, trying to reason with him, knuckles stared at Y/N as his face soften, Y/N thought he finally get through him. But his wrong

"...You didn't try hard enough" Y/N's eyes widen as he unexpectedly get punch with his other fist making him stumble back, he yelp as he almost fell off the car but he managed to grab on the edge of the car, he looked panicked and scared.

"Y/N!" the Y/C echidna heard sonic called for him, he sees them looking at him with concern and worry as Y/N look back at him.

Then knuckles grabbed Y/N by the neck making the younger echidna yelped and struggled to breath grabbing knuckle's wrist to try and get it off him but his strength is not that strong from knuckle's strength as knuckles lift him up with one hand while Y/N struggled to breath tighten his grip around knuckle's wrist hanging to a cliff while knuckles glared at him.

"i thought you died...i thought you died with them...i suffered mourning to all of the ones who died..even yours.." knuckles said as he tighten his grip making Y/N gasped and cough.

"after i train myself i tried everything to find the hedgehog, i tried looking through the galaxy to find him and finally achieved what our tribe wanted...what our father wanted..."knuckles continued as Y/N look at knuckles with pain and fear expression.

" we need to do something!" sonic said in worry and panick as he continue to drive, tails is thinking as he soon got a idea and look at sonic.

" i got a idea, do you trust me? " tails asked making sonic to look at him.

"of courage not! I definitely just met you!" sonic said at him as tails look at him with 'are you serious' look.

"just let me-"

"hey! What are you doing?!" sonic asked the young fox as he took the wheel driving it to the cliff, knuckles stumbled a bit but still have his grip on Y/N.

Sonic screamed as they drive off the cliff, knuckle's eyes widen, he grunted letting go of Y/N as Y/N fell and he quickly get to the rock wall and stomp his fist on it stopping himself from falling, he look as his eyes widen seeing Y/N fell with the car.

His expression is full of worry as the car exploded causing him to look away from a bright light of the explosion and fire. He look down again and sees nothing but fire from the bottom where the car is as soon his anger got replaced by guilt and disbelief.

He heard something as he looked and sees the fox and hedgehog flew away but his eyes widen a bit when he sees Y/C echidna with them, sonic holding Y/N's hand while tails have sonic flying away with his two tails spinning, he felt slightly relief seeing the younger echidna survived and didn't died.

He watched them flew off and decided to climb up, but then he stopped when a laser hit near him he look around and sees flying bots surrounded him and shine a light at him causing him to growl.

"so my massive matacarpaled friend" knuckles heard the femilliar voice he looked and and sees robotnik.

"you mentioned OWLtimate power?" robotnik asked as knuckles just stared at him as he harden his glare, doesn't know what this human want or goal is.
