Max and (Y/N) kept talking in the car on their way to the office. Max couldn't have been happier hearing (Y/N)'s voice again. He felt all his worries slip away whenever she would talk. It was like magic or something.

In an hour, the two made it to the SkyMedia office. (Y/N)'s feet wouldn't calm down. She was too excited to enter the building.

(Y/N) skipped her way to the doors and when she opened it, there were decorations?

Max followed behind (Y/N) and he was just as confused as she was.

"Did someone have a birthday party?" (Y/N) asked as she went up the steps. She made it to the counter and looking past it to the bigger room, there stood her friends with huge smiles.

Max wasn't too far behind, and he saw everyone crowded in front of (Y/N).

"Welcome back!!" They all exclaimed as they went over to hug (Y/N). (Y/N) jumped with even more joy as everyone gave her a hug.

"Oh my god, no way!!" She giggled while looking around the office. There were steamers on the ceiling, balloons on the computers, glitter on the floor, and a huge banner that read "Welcome Back (Y/N)!!"

"Holy crap!" Max said while looking around. "How come I wasn't a part of this?" Max asked not seriously.

Ross answered him as the others were still talking to (Y/N).

"Because, the surprise isn't over. And you're part of it." Max raised an eyebrow, getting skeptical about everything.

But he brushed it off when (Y/N) turned to him with a happy smile on her face. It made Max happy and this moment couldn't have gone so fast.

"Who wants cake??" Adam cheered with arms shooting up in the air. Everyone said yes and someone brought the cake into the room.

It was a big rectangular cake that had "Welcome Back!!" written in white icing, decorated with other icing colors.

Em took out the big knife and started slicing. In no time, it was already cut up in pieces, enough for everyone.

(Y/N) helped out and passed the cakes to her friends. She handed the last piece to Max with a smile.

(Y/N) seemed to be happy, but Max tried his best to not remember about this 'other surprise'.

Max hated surprises.
