Seto's P.O.V

I think I see them. I go towards them. Midnight still has Sky's amulet in her hand. I get off my horse. I run towards them.

"Kitty!" She looks at me. She goes flying. I catch her. We go on the ground with her on top of me. Kitty looks at me.

"Seto thanks for breaking my fall." Kitty said. That hurt so much.

"No problem." She gets off of me. She helps me up.

"What are you doing here?" Kitty asks.

"Get the amulet and go back to Sky. I'll deal with Midnight." Kitty looks at me.

"How do I get it?" Kitty asks. I look at Midnight. She looks at me.

"I have no idea. I'll ge it then."

"What are you going to do?" Kitty asks.

"I don't know. But go back to the North Village." Kitty leaves. I look at Midnight. She appears in front of me. Her face turns red.

"What do you want?" Midnight asks.

"The amulet and for you to kill the demons." Midnight backs away from me.

"Why should I?" Midnight asks.

"People are dying please." Midnight looks at me. I walk towards her. She turns back to normal Midnight instead of evil Midnight. She takes a step back.

"No I might hurt you." Midnight said. What?

"Now you care?"

"I have always cared." Midnight said. How about when she put me in a coma? I don't think she cared then.

"How about when you put me in a coma?"

"I couldn't control myself. I never seem to can when I'm around you." Midnight said. Wait so this is what this is about. Nevermind that. I have some thing I'm suppose to be doing.

"Then stop this. Please stop." Midnight takes a step towards me.

"But I don't know how." Midnight said.

"You need to break your focus." She looks confuse.

"My focus? I'm not focusing on anything." Midnight said. That's what she's suppose to think.

"You are and you don't know it. You are what is keeping these demons alive."

"I am? How do I break focus that I don't know that I'm in?!" Midnight yells. She goes on her knees. She puts her hands on the ground in front of her.

"I screwed up again. I ruined everything again. Like usually." Midnight said. I kneel in front of her. She looks at me.

"You didn't screw up anything."

"I didn't?" Midnight asks. No she didn't. I can tell that she wasn't in control this whole time.

"No you weren't in control."

"How did you know?" Midnight asks.

"Cause I can see it." 

"Me a monster?" Midnight asks. 

"No I don't see that." Midnight looks at me.

"That's a first." Midnight said. She really believes she screwed up everything. 

"For what?" She looks away from me. 

"For someone to see through the monster I am. I screw up anything. I try to have  friends but I end up killing them. Like I almost killed you. I was trying to stop myself. Bu I couldn't. Usually people would have gave up the first shot. When you keep getting up and trying to get to me, that reminded me of someone to me. They died because of me. I didn't want that to happen to you. Your friends are special to you aren't they?" Midnight asks. She's all alone? 

"Yeah they are. We look out for each other. All of us have problems. Most of us have a dark side like you." Midnight looks at me. 

"What? But I only do." Midnight asks. I sit on the ground. 

"Not really. No one is alone in this world. Midnight your no different then the rest of us. We have dark sides that tend to take over us sometimes and when they do, they can do some real damage." 

"But no one wants a Dark Sorcerer. Your not one like me. You sorcerers hate us." Midnight said. I know about that. I know a never ending battle to get rid of every Dark Sorcerer. They are rare now. 

"For a Dark Sorcerer, you don't act like the ones I have seen." 

"I don't? But I'm trying my best not to be one. First time I turned I killed my best friend. The only friend I had that actually got me. Who understood me." Midnight said. Tears come down her face. 

"How many times have you turned?" She looks at the ground. 

"Too many. When I do, I like it. For some reason it feels like the only place where I belong. But no one wants me. Everyone avoids me so they don't get killed. You should go away before I hurt you again." Midnight said. I'm not leaving her behind. 

"Why?" She looks at me. 

"You don't care about my dark side." Midnight said. No I don't. I have a way to contain it. 

"No I don't. They run because they don't know who you really are. You turn because your scare of getting hurt and getting close to someone. Your afraid to have someone who cares about you hurt because of you." Midnight's face turns red. Tears are still coming down her face. I wipe her tears away. 

"I don't get it." Midnight said. 

"What?" 

"Right now I wouldn't be in control and you would be dead. But yet whenever your around I'm in control. If I let anyone care about me they get hurt. I don't want that to happen to you. Not you. Get away." Midnight said as she stands up and takes a couple of steps back from me. I stand up. She's not afraid of herself.

"Midnight your not going to hurt me." 

Midnight's P.O.V

"Midnight your not going to hurt me." Seto said. Yes I will. I know I will. 

"No Seto. I know I will. Everyone does." My gut is telling me to leave him before something bad happens to him. But my heart is saying to stay with him, he'll be fine. I'm going with my gut. You love him don't you? Yes, that's why I don't want to see him hurt. Not again. Seto takes a step towards me. I take a step away from him. 

"Seto stop please. You'll get hurt. I can't take seeing you hurt again. I don't want to kill you this time." 

"I'll be fine." Seto said. I suddenly see Seto in that hallway dying. I gasp and take a few more steps back. 

"No I'm a monster! You'll die!" Fear it's all over you. Seto was right. Yes he was. But you'll won't see Seto alive anymore. No. Don't you dare. I go on my knees and put my hands over my ears. 

"Midnight." Seto said. No he's the target. I'm pushed to the back of my mind. I stand up. Time for Seto to die for real this time! No! I look at Seto. 

Seto's P.O.V

Midnight's eyes turn black. The Soul Taker Spell. After a while you would think using that spell would get old. But actually it's really useful. Midnight throws a spell at me. I jump back. But I would have to get close enough to her to cast it. That could get me killed, but it's worth it. She has been alone all these years. She deserves to have someone. I run towards her. To have some friends to be with and not be afraid to hurt them. Midnight shoots a spell at me. It hits me. Pain shoots up my wrist. I ignore it. She said she was different around me. Maybe. Just maybe that could work. Midnight looks at me. She shoots anther spell at me. I duck. Wait I can't use that spell on her. She's a Dark Sorcerer. It does nothing on them. Plan B then. A sword forms in her hand. I grab her wrist with the sword in it. She looks at me. I kiss her. She drops the sword. She kisses me back. She puts her hands on my neck. I put my hands on her side and back. She goes against me. Her hand goes on the back of my neck. She looks at me. Her eyes turn normal. 

"Told you." Midnight smiles. 

"But I thought I would kill you for sure." Midnight said. 

"It's because you thought that you loss control." 

"Really?" Midnight asks. Her eyes suddenly lose their color and she goes limp. I catch her. 

"Midnight." 

"Seto behind you!" Someone yelled. I look behind me. A sword is coming at me. I can't stop it in time. 

"I have had enough of you always getting in the way!" Someone yelled. I grab the blade. It goes in my chest. I scream. 

"Seto!" Someone said. I look at who is holding the sword. Midnight's dark side. 

"What don't remember me Seto? I'm Dark. Midnight's dark side. You have had been in the way long enough." Dark said. The sword is not deep in my chest. Dark grabs my shoulder. She pushes the sword deeper in. I scream. 

"No! Seto!" Someone yelled. Someone grabs Dark and pulls her away from me. The sword comes out. I fall. Someone catches me. I look up. Katie. A recruit. She yelling at some people. I have my back on her. Her arm is around me. Her hand is on my wound. I look at who she is yelling at. Recruits are fighting. But where did they come from? Drake, James, and Tony are fighting. Midnight. I look at her. She's laying on the ground unmoving. Iris comes next to me. 

"Seto you'll be fine." Iris said. 

"Ted is going to get you help." Katie said. 

James's P.O.V

This is crazy. But we have to protect Seto. 

"Seto will die by my hand! You can't protect him forever!" Dark yelled. Drake goes flying back. 

"No your not touching him! Your not hurting him anymore!" I look at Seto. Katie has him in her arms. I look back at Dark. I'll die if I have to, to save Seto's life. After all them 8 have always protected us. It's our turn to return the favor. Mostly Sky. He saved me from being demon food. I haven't seen him since then. I jump to the right. Dark smacks me with something. I fall on the ground. The others are down. 

"Seto's turn to die!" Dark yelled. No. I can't move my body. Dark runs towards Seto. No. I can't get up. We can't lose another one. Not Seto too.

"No!" 

Katie's P.O.V

Dark is coming for us. I hold Seto tight. I'm not letting him go. Iris stands in front of us. 

"What are you doing?" 

"What I have too. I'm not letting Seto die." Iris said. Iris screams. I close my eyes and hold Seto. I open them. Where's Iris? Dark has a sword pointed at Seto. I look at her. 

"No please. Don't do it. We need him more then think." Seto is out cold. He doesn't know what is going on. Dark looks at me. She grabs me and lifts me in the air. She starts walking away from Seto. 

"Seto deserves to die. They all do. Seto is just a warm up. But I guess you get to watch him die right in front of you." Dark said. She slams me against a tree. Someone wraps around me and sticks me to the tree. Dark takes a couple of steps back. I can't move. I can't get out. She walks towards Seto. 

"No please don't!" I look at James. James is trying to get up. But he can't. I look at Seto. He's still out cold. 

"Seto you got to wake up! Please! We need you!" I look at the ground. I can't watch this. 

"Goodbye Seto forever!" Dark yelled. I look at her. She has a sword at the ready to kill him. 

"No!"
