Honestly KD means so much to me because we both kinda went through the same thing, and she has the character development about her sexual abuse I definitely wish to every survivor—she overcame it,,,yes with the help of JJ and the Pogues, but most importantly by herself, and I hope I conveyed that message!!

I? did not convey the message I wanted to the first time around — it was admittedly a bit rushed because I didn't know if there would be a second book or even a second season, so I fell down a rabbit hole of clichés (no, having sex right just because JJ asked for consent was NOT it.) However, I hope I managed to, this time around?

But I guess the important take away at the end of this first book of the trilogy is that bad coping mechanisms will remain bad no matter how you turn and twist it in your head, it's NOT helping and getting better starts by letting it go. It's doable! Doesn't look like it but trust me, it is. Fire always dies out in the end, yk.

Kat will forever have that special place in my heart for being a twisted mirror of my life for details I should not go into here but rather in therapy (we're all mentally ill don't pretend), and I love her with all my little heart!!!!!!

And with the end of the first book, I'd like to thank everyone for commenting, voting, or just reading, and I hope it can help towards the first step of getting better (which, essentially, is what the book was . taking the first step yk)

Quick special thanks off the top of my head to the friends I've made (-lverpvgue, luvalert, Nightreina) and to the friends that listened to me ramble on and on about those idiots (cosmicoswalds), not to mention the two slightly questionable friends that read it even though they haven't watched OBX? (Redoba, venusdeity), and that one french bestie that tries to read this and does a good job at it because I? said so (ghostofash-)

Seeing as the second book (Through Heaven And High Water) will be out tomorrow night, who wants a little dedications/notification for when it comes out?
