Dalton Pov

I wake up with Adeline in my arms. I grab my phone and it's only 7:30 and I go back to sleep Adeline still in my arms.

She looks so beautiful when she sleeps.

I fall back to sleep and I dream about Adeline and I in a beautiful field with the sun on us and she has flowers in entangled in her hair.

I wake up again to Adeline squirming and making noises like she's having a nightmare.

"Della. Della wake up." I say.

She opens her eyes and starts to cry. "What's wrong Adeline?" I ask.

"I h-had a nightmare. Ab-bout us. We got into a car accident with Cole and Dana. Cole was hurt very bad and had to be rushed in as emergency trauma. It was terrible Dalton." She manages to get out through tears.

"It's okay I'm here you're fine everyone's fine." I say hugging her to me.

"I know this happens a lot. I'm so sorry you had to see me like this." She says.

"Adeline you're my girlfriend. It's okay I am here for you. It's okay to cry in front of me." I say.

"O-okay." She says and I wipe her tears away and kiss her gently.

"I know you've been my girlfriend for less than a day but I have to say this." I start to say.

"What? What is it Dalton?" She asks.

"I love you Adeline." I say.

"I love you too Dalton. I have since the moment I laid eyes on you." She says.

"I can sing to you if that will calm you down." I say still hugging her close to me.

"Please." She said.

"You're amazing Dalton." She says. "That's one of my favorite songs as well." She adds. "It always calms me down when I listen to it."

"I'm happy I'm here to help you through this." I say.

I kiss her again and it instantly makes me feel better about how she feels now.

"Should we go get some breakfast. All that crying made me hungry." She says.

"Okay let's go downstairs and eat something then." I say grabbing her hand and bringing her down the stairs.

Adeline POV

Dalton pulls me down the stairs and I sit down at the table.

"What are you hungry for?" He asks.

"Pancakes. I can make us some pancakes." I say.

"Okay how can I help?" He asks.

"Well you can get me the almond milk and the eggs please." I answer getting out the rest of the ingredients for the pancakes. "Oh and can you please get me the butter."

He hands me the butter and I get my pan out.

"You can also help with making the batter." I say.

We make the pancake batter and I ask. "Do you want chocolate chips in the pancakes."

"Sure. Where are they so you don't have to reach?" He asks.

"In the top right cupboard." I say smiling.

He gets them and I stir them in.

I make both of our pancakes and we sit down.

"So do you want to watch Doctor Who in my room or down here?" I ask.

"In your room. I assume you might want to work on your painting. I would love to watch you paint." He says.

"Okay you can watch me paint while we watch Doctor Who." I say.

We finish and go back upstairs.

"I'm gonna go brush my teeth and I'll be out to work on my painting." I say.

When I'm in the bathroom I brush my hair and teeth and throw my hair back up into a bun.

I come out and Dalton is sitting at my desk looking at my drawing of Halsey.

"You are really good at drawing." He says.

"Thanks." I say grabbing my paint and my brushes.

I set down my paint on the table next to my easel.

I turn on my DVD player and put in Doctor Who.

I sit down and start painting Marilyn's lips in red and a wine color.

"You should enter the art contest at school I'm sure you will win it." Dalton says.

"Maybe. I kind of want to paint something else for it though." I say continuing to work on my painting.

"Okay just as long as you consider it." Dalton says smiling at me.

We sit talking and watching tv while I paint my picture.

I'm so happy I met him. I think as I'm looking at Dalton.

"Why are you staring at me?" He asks.

Crap he caught me staring at him. Oh whatever he's my boyfriend I can statue at him if I want.

"I don't know. I guess it's because I love you." I say getting up.

"I love you too." He says getting up and hugging me.

"Do you want to go walk with me on the pier?" I ask.

"Yes just let me put normal clothes on first and we can go." He says.

When he goes into the bathroom I put on mascara and chapstick.

He comes out and I take my phone off the charger and grab my purse and my chapstick.

We drive down to the pier in Dalton's car.

We get out and walk a little way out and Dalton grabs my hand.

"I like coming here when I have a bad anxiety day. But you being here with me is way better." I say.

"Yeah I like to come here when I need to clear my head." He says.

We walk down to the bottom and sit down on a bench.

"I'm really looking forward to hanging out with you and the guys this Saturday." I say.

"Me too I'm excited to see that movie." He says.

We sit in a comfortable silence for the next hour before Dalton asks. "Do you want to go and get some ice cream?"

He stands up and holds out his hand which I take and stand up.

We walk all the way back to the car and drive to the ice cream shop.

We go to the window and the guy at the window asks us what we're having.

"I'll have a vanilla milkshake please. Della?" He asks.

"Strawberry milkshake please." I say.

We wait a minute and our milkshakes come out.

"Thanks Dalton." I say.

"You're welcome." He says and we walk back to the car.

We drive back to my house.

We go back into my room and Dalton had to go home to see see his mom.

A/N: Hey!! I just wanted to update more for my readers. I'm hoping to get more readers. I'm very upset that Dalton was voted off of idol last light but yet I'm still do proud of him for making it so far. He did so good and I hope he'll go very far. Anyway I hope you guys are enjoying so far.
