Adeline POV

The drive home from Comic-Con was pretty long but funny because Gabe and Cole kept joking around.

There are only two weeks until graduation. I'm finally going to be free.

Sitting in class looking at the clock for the thousandth time today.

2:30, the final bell rings and it's Friday so I'm going home and staying in all night with Dalton.

I drove Carter home today because Max wasn't at school today. "Thanks for the ride Dell." He says.

"You're welcome Carter." I say and head upstairs to my room.

I text Dalton telling him he could stay the night.

I take a quick shower before putting on yoga shorts and a band shirt.

I sat in my bed on my laptop on Tumblr updating my feed.

A few hours later someone knocks on my bedroom door and I get up and open it and Dalton is standing there.

"Carter let me in." He says as I motion for him to come into my room.

We sit in my beanbag chairs and Dalton asks. "Are you excited about graduating high school?"

"Yeah, I just don't know what I'm going to do after." I say and sigh.

"Well the boys and I are starting our band and I want you to be there with us. Like when we go on tour and stuff." He says.

"Yeah I'd like that but I'm going to college in New York and we won't see each other." I say sadly.

He gives me a sad look and says. "I know but we can still be together like long distance."

"We can try. Hopefully this all works out." I say.

"Me too. Anyway let's talk about happier things like how you're going to be an amazing artist both musically and with your drawings and paintings." He says.

"I really hope to get my work in a museum one day." I say brightly.

"That would be amazing." He says.

"Okay, what are we watching today?" I ask. "More Supernatural?"

"Sure." He says nodding.

I put on the tv and we cuddle on my bed.

After an episode of Supernatural I say. "I'm going to order a pizza."
and said. "We can go pick up the pizza in 20 minutes. And after we could go for a walk or something."

"Okay." He says.

We leave to go get the pizza and go sit at a table in the park.

We start eating and Dalton says. "I'm really going to miss you when you're gone."

I swallow the mouthful of pizza and say. "Don't think like that. We can make it work."

"I hope so." He says and I grab his hand.

"Everything is going to be okay." I say.

He just nods and we continue eating in silence.

"Now how about that walk?" Dalton asks.

"Let's go." I say.

We link arms and walk the pier by the park. "I'm really sorry I have to leave you and the guys here. But hey aren't you going to start your band?" I ask.

"Um yeah we're working on some stuff right now actually." He says.

"Great I can't wait to hear what you guys have been working on." I say enthusiastically.

Dalton smiles and says. "You can come over tomorrow and we'll show you."

I nod and smile at him. "Let's go back to my house. Mom isn't home." I wink at him.

He smiles and we go back to the car and drive to my house. We go inside and straight up to my room.

"I love you Dalton." I say between kisses.

"Love you more." He says kissing my neck.

"Not possible." I say as his kisses travel down.

Clothes come off and you can imagine what happens next.

~~~ Time skip to the next day ~~~

I drive to Gabe's house and all the guys are there.

They have all of their musical equipment set up already.

They sing me a song that they have been working on.

"You guys are great." I say.

"Thanks Della." They all say.

"You guys are really going to go far." I say and hug each one of them. "So, graduation is next week and I don't want to lose you guys. We need to keep in touch. You are the best friends I've ever had."

"I promise you I will talk to you every chance that I get. I'm going to miss you. But if we ever get the chance to perform in New York you need to be there." Will says.

"Of course I'll be there. Wouldn't miss it for the world." I say. "This will be easy. We can make it work."

"Yeah we will." Gabe says.

"Yeah. Anyways, I have to go. Carter needs me for something. Text me later." I say and kiss Dalton on the cheek before leaving.

Carter really didn't need me. I just had to get out of there. I don't want to leave them but I have to. I just have a feeling that none of this will work out with all of us.

I drive home from Gabe's house. I go up to my room and pack up my things for college. A picture of Dalton and I amongst the things in there.

This is going to be hard. When I get to New York I want to make it work with Dalton. But do I really want that?

A/N: Sorry for the confusion with my last author's note. I'm still having writer's block but I already had most of this part written already.
