You were currently in your room, pacing back and forth while trying to find an outfit for your night out with Sabo.

And getting no help from stupid Marco or Thatch as they just sit there and watch you have a panic attack.

"This doesn't feel right." You say with a sigh as you sit on your bed, stuffing your face into your hands.

Thatch puts a hand on your back and rubs it gently. "(y/n), I know it's hard but maybe this is a sign for you to move on."

"I can't, it's his brother. "

"Ace would want you to be happy-yoi"

"But with his brother?" You ask, looking up at them with teary eyes.

"Better than with some asshole-yoi. "

Thatch wipes your tears away and makes you look at him. You can see the worry in his eyes. "You're a single mother who works herself too much and barely gets any sleep. Ace would rather you be taken care of by his brother who obviously cares for you and your child than continuing what you've been doing."

"Thatch is right-yoi. Go have fun, we've got things here."

You nod and wipe your face, walking over to your closet and picking out (f/c) dress before changing into it. When you finish getting ready you walk downstairs to see Sabo.

Sabo blushes at the sight of your beautiful form as he takes your hand, placing a kiss on your knuckles as he looks into your eyes.

"You look...breathtaking (y/n)"

"So do you, Sabo." You say with a light blush, turning your attention to Thatch.

"(d/n)'s bottles are in the cabinet and diapers in her room. She should fall asleep pretty easily."

"Don't worry, (y/n), we've got this. You two go have fun." Thatch says, pushing you both towards the door.

"Ok, well, call if you need anything."

You and Sabo had taken a walk to the park. He bought you ice cream and sat on a bench beside you while you both watched the sunset over the lake.

"Thank you, for taking me out. I didn't realize how much I needed this."

"You're welcome. I was told you've barely gotten any sleep because of some nightmares."

"Yeah, about Ace. That day keeps haunting me."

"I'm sorry I wasn't here for you...and Luffy," He says, giving you a hug. You instantly wrap your arms around his neck and hold him tight, burying your face in his neck.

"Just don't go disappearing on us again okay?"

Sabo nodded at your request, leaning back a bit to look into your eyes while he caressed your cheek with his thumb.

'Would it be wrong to kiss him?'

"(y-y/n)?"

"Hm?"

"Um well...nevermind it doesn't matter." The handsome blonde mutters, pulling away with a deep blush on his face.

'Was he thinking the same thing? Surely not.'

"Ace would be heartbroken to know how you've been. "

'Not this subject again...'

"I'm okay Sabo. Thatch and Marco just worry too much."

"You can't get proper sleep because of your nightmares, you work all day from what I've heard. That doesn't sound like okay to me. "

"I deal with it."

"Yeah, but eventually your body won't be able to deal with it. You don't need to overwork yourself. "

"How else will I be able to take care of my daughter? She's all I have left of him and I have to make sure she has a good life."

"Then let me help, (y/n). I'll move in with you."

You instantly blush at that but you know he's being serious. You sigh and decide to give up arguing.

"Fine."
