You had come up with a great plan to surprise Luffy and now it was time to put that plan into action.

The three boys were in the kitchen while you and (d/n) went to wake up Luffy.

You slowly open his door and smile softly at the boy curled up in his bed.

Walking over to his side you place (d/n) on the bed beside him and she starts to mess with his face.

"Say wake up Uncle Luffy~"

Luffy groaned a bit and opened his eyes, raising up and rubbing them.

"(y/n), what're you doing here?"

You smile and kiss his head, giving (d/n) to him.

"We have a surprise for you."

Luffy smiles brightly and gets up with (d/n), following you downstairs.

"What's my surprise (d/n)?"

The little girl giggles as she gets bounced by her uncle. Ever since she was born Luffy has been nothing but caring for your baby. Sure, Marco and Thatch help out a lot and care for her but Luffy has a special bond with her that you love.

'Oh, Ace, I hope you can see this.'

Stopping just outside the kitchen you take (d/n) from Luffy and motion towards the kitchen.

"Your surprise is in there."

Luffy gives you that contagious smile that he usually always has and jumps up and down excitedly.

"WOOHOO, I BET IT IS MEA-"

Luffy's sentence stops once he walks in, looking at Sabo and tilting his head in confusion.

"Who's this?"

"It's been a while, little brother." Sabo says with a soft smile, walking towards Luffy.

You can see Luffy's eyes watering once he realizes who he is and it melts your heart. Luffy always blamed himself for Sabo going missing since he is the one who begged him to play.

He used to have nightmares about it, even as an adult. Ace would get so mad when he would climb into bed with you guys but you didn't really mind.

"S-S-Sabo!!!!" Luffy tackled his brother to the ground, giving him one of his bone-crushing hugs while crying.

Sabo took a deep breath since Luffy knocked the air out of him and chuckled.

"I THOUGHT YOU WERE GONE FOREVER! WHY DIDN'T YOU EVER COME BACK?!?! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!!?! I MISSED YOU SO MUUUUUCH!!!!!"

After Luffy cried forever and Sabo explained everything they all went to the living room while you cleaned up the kitchen after breakfast.

You can hear Luffy trying to teach (d/n) how to play video games and Marco scolding him, saying she's just a baby and won't understand anything yet.

"Need some help?"

A voice interrupts your thoughts as you turn around, coming face to face with Sabo.

'Gosh, he's gotten so handsome.'

"U-Uh, sure!" You say with a slight blush as Sabo moves beside you and starts drying dishes off.

There's an awkward silence before he speaks up.

"Luffy hasn't changed a bit."

"Oh, yeah he really hasn't." You are too focused on the dishes your washing to notice him staring at you a bit.

"And you've gotten more beautiful"

His comment has you blushing and looking at him as he blushes and rubs the back if his neck

"N-Not that you weren't beautiful before just you've, grown and...well...um"

You find his shy side quite adorable but this is getting awkward so you quiet him by kissing his cheek.

"I get what you mean. You've become a handsome young man yourself~" You tease lightly and put some bubbles on his nose.

Sabo chuckles sheepishly and wipes them off, smiling down at you and getting lost in your eyes.

"(y/n), let me take you out tonight. You seem like you need a break and I wanna make up for the time I've missed."

'I'm gonna kick Marco and Thatch's butts'

"Did Marco and Thatch put you up to this? Because I promise I'm fine."

"I don't believe that for a second."

You're a little taken back by this. Yes, you've barely had sleep with your nightmares and working but you handle it just fine. Though, a night out does sound kinda fun.

"Fine, we can go out tonight." You say with a sigh, knowing you don't really have a choice.

Sabo just smiles and hugs you. His embrace is so warm and comforting and you love it...but at the same time, you don't.

'This feels so wrong. He's Ace's brother.'
