(Valka P.O.V)

Stoic and the others had been here for almost 2 months now. Gothi had gone back to Berk and Spitelout, my brother, was out as acting chief. The teens were playing around with Hiccup, who was in his dragon form. The chubby boy, FishLegs i believe, had gathered the courage to ask Hiccup if he could gather info for the book of dragons as they call it.

I watched with a smile on my face as FishLegs asked a Hunter to do multiple things for the book of dragons. The past 2 months we'd been here, I continued to notice a Hunter more and more. I got to know him better,he was very different to the other guys on Berk. Most of the guys there just wanted a girl for there looks and fighting skills. But when I talked to Hunter, I noticed his eyes stayed on me, my face. His personality was kind and caring, he didn't have and inch of evil in him. He never bragged even though he could top Snotlout in anything. He would blush or disagree if you complimented him or enlarged his very small ego.
We had gone swimming a short while ago, revealing Several scars and whip marks, also a black dragon tattoo on his back. A Night Fury to be exact. The dragons wings reached to his shoulders and it's tail went down to his pants line.  My mind began to wonder lower but I quickly snapped by self out of my daydreaming. "Astrid, could you help me" FishLegs said, quirking with excitement. He handed me the one end of the measuring tape. Hunter spread his wings out fully, both me and FishLegs had to back up a little. I pressed the end if the tale to his wings point.Confirming my previous suspicious. Slightly larger wing span than a Monstrous Nightmare. 18.9 meters long. FishLegs then measured from head to tail.26 feet long, impressive.Hunter then retracted his teeth into his gums and smiled at FishLegs. FishLegs scribbled down again. I laughed, then made the mistake if raising his wing, revealing an ugly whip mark. I quickly dropped his pitch black wings. He crooned and softly whined. " sorry" I mutter, stroking his flat head gently. He nuzzled me softly. FishLegs muttered what he wrote." Very lethal yet can be affectionate." I chuckled and so did a Hunter in dragon form. " how are we going to figure out his speed?" Snotlout asked and FishLegs shrugged. "Why don't we compare him to someone else" Heather suggested. Snotlout shot right up" Ill do it, he'll never bet me" Snotlout claimed proudly. Hunter shot him an 'Are you kidding me look' as we all laughed. Snotlout looked confused by puffed his chest out anyway.
We stood on the edge on an icy porch. "Annnnnd.... GO!" Heather shouted and both Snotlout(on Hookfang) and Hunter took off. They swerved around several sea stacks before zooming past us, well...Hunter did. Snotlout's speed was 16 and Hunters speed was a gobsmacking 21. FishLegs was bursting in exitment. Once they touched down, Hunter morphed and Snotlout un-mounted. He puffed his chest out"I won!" He shouted proudly as we all rolled our eyes. Hunter simply smiled" Okay Snotlout, you won" he said calmly, we all stared at him in shock and I mentally smiled at him. Could he get anymore perfect? I asked myself."That's right! Haha" He laughed in victory. Valka and the other adults walked over to us, Valka smiled." Let's go for a fly." We all nod our heads in agreement.
Soon we were flying high into the clouds. It was about mid-day. Valka and the other adults flew infront. Me, Hunter and the rest if the teens flew a few meters behind. I didn't care how many times I've seen him morph, I continued to stare at his agile body. His back arched in incredible ways, his wings moving unlike anything I'd ever seen. We'd soon arrivee at a snowy hill, with a large yet thin hole in the centre. We landed on a snowy patch of land, not far from the mountain.
Valka un-mounted and laid out a map. There was dragon island, Berk and all the other tribes, even some places we've never heard of. We started at the large map in awe. We all then watched in amusement as Hunter walked around the snow on his hind kegs with a large, sharp icicle. He seemed to be trying to draw the map. Once he was finished he doted the spot and nodded in satisfaction. The Night Fury opened his mouth, expecting the icicle to fall to the icy ground, but, it stuck to his tounge. He let his tongue loll out as he shook his head roughly, trying to get rid of the icicle. We all laughed at his failed attempt. We turned our attention to Valka who started to explain to us if the Unidentified places.
We spent a full hour at the snowy mountain. Hunter ended up having to wait for the icicle to melt, it was quiet funny. After it had melted his tongue had gone numb, so when he morphed. His talking came out muffled, it was very amusing. While the others were in thee own little conversations, I was laughing my ass of as Hiccup attempted to talk.
We ended up flying after a short while. Hunter now had feeling in his tounge, he was much more exited then he should of been we he found he could talk. It had become sunset as we glided over the orange clouds. Hunter flew higher and swirled expertly through a pack of timber jacks. We all watched in awe and amazement as he dived down until he reached the horizon if the ocean, then he spread his wings and glided across the ocean. Water flicked up behind him from his immense speed. He dove under a thunder drum who had leaped from the ocean, then flew straight up to us. Once he reached our level he balanced out and flew silent, as if he hadn't just shocked us all into awe. He grinned over his shoulder and speed off,leaving us in the dust.
Turns out, Hunter actually went back to the nest and we meet him there. I later found him sitting on the edge of an icy porch, his legs dangling over the edge and staring out as the top of the sunset slowly disapeared.  I crouched down next to him and swung my legs over the edge next to his, I could feel our legs pressing together and I blushed,hard. He turned to look at me and smiled,I smiled back, feeling my knees go weak. "Hey" I answer in a small, slightly hoarse voice. I blush, trying to hide my embaressment." You okay?" He asks me with his eyebrow raised. I nod, knowing that I will embarrass myself even more if I talk again. I shiver slightly as the stars take over and it's begins to cool down. I feel Hunter shift slightly, then wrap his strong arms around me. I feel warmth and something i can't identify spark inside of me. I smile in at him, then rest my head against his shoulder. I feel him rest his head atop of myn. After a few minuted of silence and debating with myself, I finally look up at him. He lifts his head up and looks back at me. We are now inches apart, I stare directly into his gorgeous green eyes. Slowly, I lean in. And much to my relif, so does he. Our lips lock and I snake my arms around his neck, tangling my hands in his hair. His arms wound around my waist, pulling me closer to him. I'm in complete, utter bliss. His lips felt warm and smooth against myn. We eventually pull away for breath. I pull him back so were once again, inches apart. His beautiful green eyes sparkle in joy. I move one hand to trace his razor sharp jaw. I smile at him and he mimics my actions. "A-are we..?" I ask uncertainly, hiding my red face in his toned chest. He moves a hand under my chin and lifts my head up so I'm looking directly at his handsome face. He smiles and nods" if you want to" He says with an expressionless voice. I'm bubbling with exitment, I nod my head vigorously. Then pull him towards me and kiss him deeply. He's surprised by my actions at first but slowly melts into it. As we pull away, I continue to kiss down his jaw and neck. He moans softly, I blush deeply. I bite down on his neck, leaving a small mark. Then continue to kiss up his jaw, to his earlobe. I nibble at it before moving to closer to him so I'm practically on his lap. He moves a hand to the side of my leg, pulling on top of him. I smile and whisper into his ear  "Mine now, right babe?" I asked cheekily. He blushes but nods. I grin devilishly, then begin to kiss up his neck, to his jaw and up to his mouth. I tangle my hands into his hair and deepen the kiss.
I stayed with him that night and our bond grew stronger.
