Normal Pov.

Winter break is finally over as it was school days again, the snow is fading from the pavements as it returned to normal once again.

Arisu entered the gym after school to watch the volleyball practice of the boys.

She decided to tell Coach Ukai that she will be leaving next week to America, he understand it.

"Aren't you going to tell the others? Especially Hinata?" He asked the blonde haired girl.

"I...I'll leave it up to you to tell to them, but...can you tell it to them three days before I go?" She asked.

"Sure, but why?" He asked.

"No reason at all, just thinking that it might be the best" She stated, he nodded as he fully understand her situation.

Silence filled the atmosphere as she bit her lower lips in frustration.

"Maybe I should mentioned to them that I will leave...they will forget me in no time after all" She answered.

Ukai ruffled his fingers through his hair as he sighed.

"I can't stop you with your decisions but...do you think they will be glad if you do that?" He said.

"W-What?" She asked.

"You have the right to leave someone, but at least tell them why, they also have the right to know"

"Let's go home, Arisu" Hinata said, as he grabbed his bag from the floor.

"Yes" Arisu said quietly, while gripping her bag tightly.

Hinata noticed that Arisu is quieter than usual, he doesn't even know why she's like that.

"Hey, let's stop by the park?" He said, as the girl could only nod, deep in thought.

Then, they sat on the swings, next to each other in silence.

She silently swayed it, her eyes glued on the grass that is attached to the ground without speaking a word.

"What's wrong? You seem out of it" Hinata said, swaying his swing higher.

"Nothing really" Arisu mumbled.

"You've been like that since Christmas eve, what's up?" He said, turning to her.

"...it's nothing" She sternly said, still not wanting to tell him.

"Oh come on, tell me...don't you have trust on me?" He pouted, as he poked her cheeks.

"It's not that...I trust you but, it's personal" She said truthfully.

"Personal, huh? That means you don't trust me that much" He said.

"N-No, don't think like that! I trust you, but...it's just--" She was cut off when he put his finger on her lips, silencing her.

"I know, I'm just messing with you" He said with a laugh, as he freed her lips.

I trust you...you know that!

"It's getting dark, let's go" He said, standing from his swing and stretched his arms up in the air.

But...Ukai-san is right.

The night is dark and silence between them, as they breathed in silence.

"I have something to tell you!" Both of them simultaneously said, surprising themselves afterwards.

"W-What?" Hinata asked, as Arisu nodded, realising they jinxed.

"The reason why...I was down lately, it's because--" She looked up to his eyes while her lips were quivering.

"I'm leaving...next week" She said, as she sighed inwardly.

Ugh...I said it...Ukai-san is about to tell them next week anyways.

"What? Where are you going?" He asked, while it was his turn to quiver his lips.

"America...to my father" She said as he turned around, her back was facing him, like she's refusing herself to face him now.

"What...why...your leaving?" He mumbled as his eyes widened in shock, still can't believe it.

"Yes, I was thinking of how I should tell it to the others...but, when I think about it" She paused, then she turned to face him with a half hearted smile.

"...It's really difficult, saying goodbye that is" She said and smiled.

She turned to him, facing him directly.

"What do you want to say?" She asked him, then he shook his head.

Slowly, he smiled...a fake smile.

"I hope you have fun there" He said.

"Have fun, huh? Nothing like that is can be found there" She said quietly.

"Boys, I have something to say" Ukai started, as he gathered everyone's attention towards him.

"Um...Kisaragi told me something before, hmm, personally she has to be the one to tell this to you guys" He continued while scratching his hair while frowning.

"What is it, Coach Ukai?" Daichi asked the manager.

"Spill the beans already!" Tanaka said, getting impatient.

"She'll leave this week, for good" He finished, making everyone shock, causing there eyes to widened.

"W-Where is she going?" Nishinoya asked, surprised.

"Tell us, Coach Ukai!" Tanaka said.

"America, she says...so I decided we'll throw a party for her" Ukai stated to everyone.

"A farewell party, I like that!" Nishinoya said.

"But, why so sudden? Can't she wait at graduation?" Kageyama asked.

"I don't know the details either, I'll tell Kisaragi later we'll be throwing her a feast" Ukai stated.

The boys and the managers didn't know what to feel, should they be happy? or sad?

Hinata on the other hand, was really depressed because she's leaving, he hasn't told her what he feels yet.

Why are you leaving? I haven't told you how I feel...

Afterwards, they went home in they're separate ways, Arisu wasn't here today so Hinata and Kagayema went home together.

"Hey Hinata" Kageyama started while munching the meat buns.

"What is it?" Hinata mumbled, as he bit his meat buns.

"Aren't you going to tell Arisu how you feel?" He asked while chewing the food, then Hinata kept in silence.

"I...I don't know myself" The orange haired boy said truthfully.

Kageyama threw the plastic in the trashcan and stuck his hands on the pockets of his jacket.

"Maybe you should, she might really leave for good" The black haired male stated the what-if fact.

"But...I'm not sure" The shorter male said, he was confused.

"Even if you did confess, it's not like she's going to stay though...It'll just put her in spot" Kageyama said.

Hinata didn't replied, as the taller male closed his eyes and sighed.

"...But, if you don't say something, you might regret not to" Kageyama said, as he turned to Hinata.

"Regret...?" Hinata questioned.

"Yeah, if you don't want to regret anything...say it" Kageyama said.

"Are you encouraging me?" The orange haired boy question as the other male blushed.

"S-Shut up...it's too tiring to watch you two, none of you say nothing, that's why nothing will change" Kageyama said, while scratching the back of his hair.

Yeah...his right, I need to say something, so I won't regret it.

Arisu didn't appear in the gym after class, as it made Hinata disappointed, he wanted to see her.

After practice, Hinata stayed in the gym to practice spiking with Yachi, it was only the two of them left inside.

"Kisaragi-san is leaving this coming days, huh? I'm going to miss her" Yachi said, slightly depressed.

"Yeah" Hinata nonchalantly said, as he spiked the ball.

"Hinata...are you okay--" Yachi was cut off when Hinata turned to her, his eyes were like monotonous.

His eyes...are filled with despair.

"I'm okay, let's wrap up...it's getting late anyways" Hinata said, as he started fixing the volleyballs.

His stares...are cold, they don't shine and glimmers like always.

"Your right" She said as she picked up some volleyballs and put it inside the basket.

Right now, it seems the name of Arisu is taboo to him...

"I'll just wash my face for a second, Yachi-san" Hinata said while grabbing his towel and running off.

"Alright" Yachi answered as she finally finished cleaning.

Kisaragi-san really is precious to him, huh? That's nice...

She turned off the lights and left the gym with her and Hinata's bags.

Yachi walked to the water fountain while lifting their stuffs, she spotted Hinata washing his face with water.

"Hinata--" She stopped when she saw him kneeled down on the floor, that's when she realised...

"His crying" She mumbled as the bags she was holding fell on the ground.

All she could do was to see him cry, it's not that new to see a guy cry, right?

It's not because you cry means your weak, it's because your in sorrow.

"Don't go...Arisu" She heard him say, while he cried.

I hate liking someone I don't have a chance with.

"Yachi-san...why does she have to go?" He asked the shorter blonde girl, as she averted her gaze with him.

"I...I don't have an idea" Yachi answered as her gaze soften.

"Why...Why do you have to go?" Hinata said as he covered his face with his hands.

Yachi kneeled on the ground and embraced him with a hug, causing Hinata to be surprised.

"It will be okay...you'll be alright" Was what she can say in this moment, she doesn't know what to do but to hug him.

"It hurts, Yachi-san...my chest hurts" He said, as he let her hug him, to comfort his sadness.

"It's alright, I'm here" She said while ruffling his orange hair with his hands.

"Thank you" Was what Hinata said, as he cried on her shoulder, soaking her uniform.

I know I have no chance, but somehow I can't stop trying...
