"You have to stay back." Yukio restated while showing the officer his exorcist badge. "We don't know what it is yet but it's powerful."

"Come on, I'll be fine. I can control my flames and I've been training with my sword." Rin whined as they crossed the road barricade.

"Fine, but don't engage it unless I tell you to." He said firmly. They strode down the rubble filled street. The twins speed up to a run at the sounds of yelling and crashing. Yukio drew his gun as they turned the corner.

"You're over doing it again!" A female voice yelled. In the middle of the street stood a flame encased form facing a Naberius about to attack. The Naberius had two heads with grey flesh sewn together. Behind the flaming figure was the source of the female voice. A blonde girl holding a gold and blue glowing whip. Yukio stopped and lowered his gun trying to assess the situation.

"What..." Rin gasped out. The Naberius shot forward and the flaming figure did as well. They collided harshly, the Naberius was overpowered, it flew back from the figure. It crashed through a building and out of sight.

"Natsu!" The blond shouted, hands on her hips. She walked between the flame figure and the building. She turned to him sharply. The flames disappeared revealing a muscular, pink haired, male. "You cant go destroying buildings! What if someone was in there!" He paled at her furious aura.

"WATCH OUT." Yukio yelled at the girl noticing movement behind her. The Naberius crashed into the girl causing her to fly into the pink haired man. They were propelled backward into the building across the street creating a dent in the wall. Yukio regained focus and shot the Naberius gaining its attention. Exorcists flooded into the street. More shots were taken while chanting of the Gospel of John started. Rin ran towards the unconscious strangers, darting around the furious demon. Rin picked the two up struggling under their combined weight.

"Yukio! They've been burned!" Rin shouted as the Naberius vanished.

"We need to get them back to the academy." Yukio said while pulling a key chain up and quickly sorting through the ring. They ran to a nearby door, Yukio unlocked it and they rushed through it. They appeared near the exorcist shop at the academy. Within seconds they arrived at the base of the garden.

"Shiemi!" Rin yelled. Shiemi sat up at the sound of her name, looking around she spotted Rin and Yukio holding two limp figures.

"Wh-what happened?" She replied running down the path toward them.

"We need aloe they were burned by a ghouls mashou." Yukio ordered. Shiemi looked confused for a second.

"Nee, I need sancho-san!" Shiemi exclaimed. Aloe plants sprouted from the green creatures body that had been sitting on her shoulder. They placed the people on the ground and allowed Shiemi to treat them.

"Yukio... what is he?" Rin asked watching the pink haired man that now looked much less intimidating than during the fight.

"I don't know... my first thought was some sort of fire demon but few have that sort of control over flames, even if he was being destructive, and he seemed to be protecting this girl." Yukio said looking lost in thought. He stood abruptly disturbing the still air.

"Let's bring them to our dorm, let them rest, we'll ask Mephisto what he thinks we should do."
