" Hey Alaia, have you seen Ash-
HOLY MOTHER OF CHEESE " A loud voice suddenly shouted, I groaned and snuggled closer to my pillow.

It was really warm and cuddly, a soft sigh escaped from my lips. If only I could wake up everyday like this, I felt some weight on my waist but I ignored it.

" WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE!" the voice again shouted and this time I woke up startled, blinking rapidly.

I winced as my shoulder wound hurted, I looked at the person who just disturbed my such beautiful sleep but a force pulled me backwards, looking towards my right I saw Ashton grumbling few curses under his breath.

He got up rubbing his eyes like a child, his hair was a mess looking like a mop. He yawned looking straight in the direction with an irritated look.

" Did something happen between you two? " I finally looked at the source of voice, nick stood there, gesturing between us.

He just barged in my room, scaring the shit out of us. He was staring at us wide eyed and before any of us could even answer he suddenly shielded his eyes with his palms.

" please don't be naked " he yelled and I flinched, looking at him horrified.

His hands covered his eyes as if he didn't just had them open a second ago.

" Nick you just saw that we have our clothes on " Ashton mumbled, passing him an irritated look.

" Oh right " nick muttered to himself and chuckled as he uncovered his eyes.

" Oh my my, look what do we have here " he smirked, wiggling his eyebrow.

I couldn't help but blush on that he was insinuating, I had totally forgotten that Ashton refused to go back at night and he was sleeping here with me.

" Get out nick " Ashton grumbled sniffling back a yawn.

" Did something happened between you two? " nick again asked totally ignoring what Ashton told.

" Get out! " both me and Ashton said at the same time, nick rolled his eyes but backed away.

" OK fine, but just to remind you guys that always use protection and not to forget that everyone is in the house " he chanted.

I did not even realised when Ashton bent down and grabbed his slippers until it was flying in Nick's direction.

Thankfully he moved fast enough and jumped out of the room, slamming the door shut and the slipper just hit the door, falling on the floor with a thud.

I could hear him laughing as he moved away from the door, I could not help but giggle slightly as I heard him muttering something like

' I will use my special shoe to beat you asshole '

I finally burst out laughing, clutching my stomach and leaned back against the headboard.

" I can't believe that idiot thought something like that " Ashton muttered and I laughed more.

" Good morning " he suddenly chirped.

I looked at him with amusement, wasn't he just all damn irritated a moment ago? I swear sometimes I feel that he is bipolar.

" Good morning " I greeted back with a smile.

He suddenly inched closer to me and I looked at him wide eyed. What was going on in his pretty little mind?

" So miss ala-" he was cut off by people barging in my room.

I looked at the door clearly startled by the sudden arrivals of unwanted guests.

There stood Macey, nick, candy, carter and also Issac crossing their arms with a hard look on their faces.

Ashton sat back to his normal position and these people sorrounded us with a threatening look.

" Uh... Good morning guys" Ashton stuttered looking at them confusingly.

Nick suddenly caught hold of Ashton's arm and pulled him towards him, he stumbled almost falling down. I gasped.

" OK young man so we have some rules for you to follow " Isaac said in a fake serious voice which only I could recognize.

They made him sit on the carpet and sorrounded him in a threatening manner.

" If you hurt my best friend then I will make sure to kick you where the sun does not shines " was Macey's statement.

His face turned pale and I bit my lips to refrain from giggling.

" If you dare to make her cry then I will tie you as her punching bag and believe me her punches really hurts" said candy.

Ashton gulped visibly, looking at my direction. I looked around everywhere but at him, his attention snapped back to what nick said.

" If you hurt her then you are no longer my brother " was his statement.

I heard Ashton mumbling something sulkily like ' you're definitely not my brother '

I bit back my smile and looked at Isaac, it was his turn now.

" If you hurt my daughter then I will chop you into pieces " he scowled but I could feel his smile in his words.

My eyes watered listening 'daughter' from his mouth, I could feel my heart thudding with happiness.

" Oh and also you can not enter her room at night " Isaac said.

They all looked at each other and nodded, Ashton scowled at them cursing under his breath. I couldn't control anymore and burst out laughing.

I clutched my stomach and almost rolled on the bed, I could feel their loving gaze upon me but I continued with my laughter session.

" NICK PETERSON, CARTER DAVIS AND MAXWELL SHEPHERD IS THIS THE WAY YOUNG MEN BEHAVE?" Sandra yelled at three of the pranksters, who were looking at her with puppy eyes.

I flinched a little due to the loud voice but stuffed more popcorn in my mouth, clearing enjoying the drama going on in front of me.

" Sandra.... Max's middle name is 'slave' " Macey piped in with a smirk, candy scowled.

A chuckle broke out from mine and Issac's lip who was pretending to work on the laptop but was secretly enjoying grilling of these boys.

" Thanks honey "

She smiled sweetly at Macey and looked back at the boys who were trying to say something to Isaac with their eyes but he didn't even looked up from his screen.

" NICK PETERSON, CARTER DAVIS AND MAXWELL SLAVE SHEPARD. HOW DARE YOU TRY SUCH PRANKS UPON ME!" she roared and this time even Macey flinched.

OK so let me tell you, these boys with not so innocent faces had tried to pull off few pranks like they did in their high school days.

They had arranged a bucket of water on the door that whoever opens it first would get drenched but unfortunately, the victim was Sandra and now here they are...

" Hey Sandra" A voice piped from behind and walked in the room. It was Ashton.

Seeing her drenched and these three caught with ' I'm too innocent' faces, connected the dots and sat on the sofa beside me.

Taking few popcorns, he shoved them in his mouth clearly enjoying the show like us.

All the three boys looked at Ashton with puppy eyes, hoping to be saved by him.

" Don't you dare look at anyone else when I am talking to you " Maria said in a dangerous low voice which made them shudder.

" OK OK! I think we can settle the scores " I declared and picked up the glass of water that was kept beside me.

I walked near three of them and they all were looking at me curiously, I stood in front of them and splashed the water on them.

There was a silence for a moment, they all looked at me stunned. The boys looked at me wide eyed, giving them an extra sugary smile I tried bolting away from there.

" NO! DARE YOU RUN FROM HERE " Nick yelled, throwing a pillow in my direction.

All the feathers scattered around the room, I dodged the pillow but out of no where carter appeared in front of me with a jug of water.

I squealed as he threw water on me but guy.... His aim was too poor! It directly splashed upon Sandra. Again...

We all gasped, carter gulped visibly throwing the jug in hands of Isaac. I bit my lips to refrain from giggling, he looked at the jug wide eyed and then at Sandra.

He kept the container beside him, we all were confused that what was going on in his mind but his next move shook all of us.

He picked up another cushion from the sofa and threw it in the direction of carter but he dodged it and it directly hit candy on his face. Like perfectly.

Candy picked up the cheese pasta from the dining table, cooked by Sandra and aimed it at Isaac but man! His aim is poorer than anyone, it hit directly Ashton's face.

The slicking blob rolled down from his eyes to cheeks and fell upon his expensive converse.

Uh oh........

It is getting worst now!

And the food fight started....

For the next ten minutes we kept on throwing everything and anything that came in our hands. Like the dinner made by her was now totally destroyed now, the walls had white stains.

The creme coloured carpets now had red patches of tomato ketchup. Our hair and dresses were completely ruined with all the food stuffs plastered on it.

At last we all sat on the floor, laughing like maniacs. I can guarantee that if anyone enters our home right now, they would get up admitted to a mental asylum.

" OK boys! I am going for a shower and till the time I return you must clean everything" Sandra warned trying to get up and go to her room.

" That's not fair, you too created mess then why only us?" nick whined grumpily.

" 'They' created it, not me " she said pointing finger at nick itself, carter who was sitting beside him and candy who was literally looking like a joker.

" but it was Alaia who started it!" all three of them excalimed together and I looked at them wide eyed.

Oh no.....

I gulped. This is not good, OK I agree that I might have started it, and maybe it was me who went a bit overboard and  sprayed whipped cream on candy's head.

But that doesn't means that it should be me who will clean up. That's not fair. . .

" So will you make me clean the entire place when my wound has not even healed properly, see my arms and shoulders are hurting " I said, pouting.

For a little extra drama I turned my eyes glossy and sniffled a little, wiping corner of my eyes.

I could feel her eyes soften, taking small steps towards me she held my hands.

" You all are such horrible people, can't you all see how hurt she is? You all make sure she doesn't do any work or prepare your own food " she said and kissed back of my palms.

Now that is perfect.....

Numerous number of groans and curses were all I could hear, all three of them gave me a dirty look and Nick went to get a mop.

I bit back my smile and looked at them who were struggling to get pasta stains out of the wall and tables.

" Now that was a show " Ashton whispered from behind as Sandra walked away from the sight and Isaac went outside to attend a phone call.

I chuckled and leaned backwards, my head resting against his chest. He wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed my cheeks.

I turned around and smiled cheekily at him.

" Hey dear 'lovey dovey' couple, please don't make us singles jealous " nick yelled from the background and Ashton groaned, backing away from from me.

" That slipper should have hit your face in the morning " he grumbled but loud enough for mostly everyone to hear.

" I heard that " nick said in fake offended voice, I rolled my eyes at his drama.

" I told so that you can hear " Ashton said with a smirk. He scowled and I giggled softly.

He turned back to face me.

" Uff among all this I forgot " Ashton said suddenly, rubmagging through his pocket.

" What is it Ashton? " I asked eyeing him curiously.

" Uh... Yes! Here" he exclaimed and took out two papers from his pants.

I peeped in to get a better look of it, he passed them to me and I eyed him from corner of my eyes. He looked way too excited today, his eyes were literally twinkling.

" Tickets for aquarium?"

I whispered with a smile and looked at Ashton who nodded with a full blown smile playing on his lips.

I let out a squeal and hugged him tightly, he chuckled wrapping his arms around my waist. His similar cologne hit my nostrils as I sighed softly.

" I knew you would like it, after all you love animals and nature " he mumbled keeping his chin upon my head.

I chuckled lowly which was muffled due to his chest, I leaned closer and closed my eyes.

At that moment......

I felt peace returning to me...

My happiness returning to me....

Spending happy hours with family is what we all wish for. This new morning brought up a new hope for all of them. A life full of love, fun and happiness is what they wish for.
