10. Epilogue

"Here it arrives, Brigade Village, son, you better tell the house colour, there are mild houses." he described and I replied, "It's a red-black house."

"Ah, I saw it afar there." he stated, "We'll soon get there."

Soon went by and we reached the home, my home. I was electrified and slipped out of the car, strenuously along with Buddy. The policeman rang the doorbell and father opened the door, bewildered by looking at me then he glanced to the policeman, not giving any reaction.

"Sorry, but I think we've I've got your child?" he inquired.

"Yes." father answered, moving away from the door, "Please come in. Have a seat."

The policeman laid on the sofa, sighing. There were mother and brother inside standing near the kitchen table. Everyone rolled their eyes on me, not giving any reaction by seeing me back. Buddy stood at the door.

"So, why didn't you remarked him to be missing." the policeman said, frowning.

"We noted him to be missing and we founded him lying unconsciously and I knew he was having a delusional disorder. The doctor did a diagnostic test and noticed that you have a delusional disorder. That's why he couldn't win in all these sports days and you hired this dysfunction from us. So, you were nothing but useless and I left him there." he shouted, beads of tears dripping down.

There was stillness after father's speech. I felt my heart burning into ashes at hearing that. Teardrops flooding away over and over. Even mother and brother were sobbing.

"That's why this child's mental illness that you're facing caused you to abandon your child. You mean this child doesn't deserve to live with a family. He has his abilities. You have do withdrawn from your child's life to recognize your mistake and to seek forgiveness and restore the relationship."

Father wiped off all the tears, took a deep breath and told, "Come here, son. Have your father's magical hug."

I didn't know what to do. I glimpsed to the policeman and he nodded back. I looked forth to my father who was on his knee and rushed to him with motion, pumping on him and hugging him firmly, mom and brother also came to us and gripped us. The policeman smiled emotionally and patted Buddy then snooped out, getting on with his job. I moved my head eyeing Buddy and beckoned her to approach. She entered and walked to us licking my face.

We were again one, a family, the network, the only people you need, the compass that guides us. The important thing which is everything. We all start and end with the family.
