A\N- wazzup awesome people who are insane because they're still reading this! In case you hadn't noticed, the story probably isn't long enough to notice anyways, each chapter switches main focus. What I mean by that is in chapter one he main focus was on Juvia. Chapter two the main focus was on Gray. But in the beginning and end of each chapter has a lirtle bit of the other character. This one starts and ends with Gray, which means this chapter will follow Juvia. Well! Have fun reading the catastrophe that originates from my imagination. Don't die from the horror of this! Bye...

Gray's Pov
I guess I should try to move on. If Juvia doesn't want to be here, then I'll respect that. It'll be hard though.

Even though it's embarrassing, and I haven't told anyone, but I miss her. Her grabbing my arm, clinging. Those tasty cookies. Her smile. I miss her smile...why?

I thought I didn't like her like that. I guess it goes to show that you don't realize how much they mean to you until their gone. I sigh. Oh my god I wish Natsu would shut up.

Juvia's Pov
Hmm, I wonder where I should go to find work. I'm looking at the back of the map in the center of town, where the job applications and call outs are.

It's painful. It reminds me way too much of the guild and the request board. I wonder how they're doing. I hope Gray is happier without me slowing him down.

Suddenly a job catches my eye. It asks for a water wizard to help with being a lifeguard. Sounds intriguing.

A\N- Btw the job thing is just like the request board in the guild, but with jobs for normal people too.

~Time Skip~

"So, you're a water manipulating wizard huh? Well, then, you're exactly who we need. Lately we've been having problems with not being very fast.

If you can maybe move the water around a bit so we can access the person who needs help, it will be great!"

The man in charge of the beach resort and lifeguard association is short and...pudgy.

I'm starting to rethink this...maybe I'll join a new guild.

"How much does it pay?" I want to know how much I get to pay the rent for my apartment. GAH! I sound like Love-Rival!

She's probably making a move on Gray this minute! I almost turn to go back, but remember I get in the way. I hear the man talking again.

"We pay 250 jewel a day." I do a little calculating. That means...1750 a week! That will be perfect to pay every two weeks!

I'll even have enough left over for food! Besides I would get in the way of any other guild anyways.

"All right, I'll do it!" I make my decision.

~Time Skip~

I'm sitting on the lifeguard tower and wondering why it's so boring. It's a beautiful day, I'm by the ocean, and it's fun watching kids play.

I climb down. I feel exposed and like a dork up there. Then I get a surprise I never would have expected.

"Juvia!? What are you doing way out here?" I look in the direction of a familiar voice and see a woman's figure running across the sand. Wait, I recognize that pink hair...

"Meredy? What are you doing way out here? Shouldn't you be eliminating dark guilds with Jellal?" Strangely Jellal is no where in sight.

"Oh, well there hasn't been much activity from the dark guilds, so Jellal told me to take a vacation! What about you? Are you on a job?" She asks me this, then gasps.

"Wait! Where's your guild mark? Don't tell me you left?" I sadly nod at her, then proceed to tell her what happened.

"And after that I decided he would be better off without me in the way, so I left the guild." I finish my story, and when I look up at Meredy's face I almost back away.

"That Baka...I can't wait for my chance to kill him...talking to you like that! Are you sure he meant it?" I hesitate, thinking about everything, and nod.

She starts spouting some serious language.

"Anyways, what about Jellal?" I ask her. "Is he on a vacation too?"

"Hm? Oh, yah, he decided he wanted to drop in on Fairy Tail to see how there doing." Then she winks at me,

"And by Fairy Tail he meant Erza!" I laugh,"Otp!"

"What are you doing here though?" she asks me.

"I've got to pay the rent somehow, and I was asked to be a lifeguard. It seems rather silly to me, but it's the best I've got!"

"Well I think it's a good thing! That wag we can hang out more, at least until I have to go back to Crime Sorciere!" She's always so upbeat, that's one reason I love being her friend!

~Time Skip~

As I walk through the streets on my way back to my apartment, I feel slightly on edge. It may just be my imagination, but I feel like I'm being followed.

She still hasn't noticed me. That's good, because to get this job done I have to be completely silent..

Meredy's Pov
I still can't believe Gray would talk to Juvia like that! Sure he doesn't love her, but he's not that much of a jerk!

Well, except when him and Natsu are going at it.

Gray's Pov
Laying in bed I feel a growing Loneliness. I thought I didn't have feelings for her, but the silence argues. Should I go after her?

Should I at least apologize? Why can't I get over her?

Other people leave the guild all the time, and I don't lay in bed worrying about them!

A\N- sup! Sorry I haven't updated in a while, I got busy! Anyways, Im not sure if anyone besides my two loyal friends PrincessxxWizard and anime_band_girl are reading, so if you are, please comment! If no one besides the two mentioned let me know I may discontinue this book. I don't want anyone getting notifications about a book they'd rather not read!
