Two
I met her when I was five in elementary school.
We did everything together, and each year we were in the same class.
Our birthdays were even one day apart.
For high school, we were mostly in different classes for learning purposes.
That wasn't the true strain on our friendship.
Two days before the betrayal, I asked if you wanted to do something.
She responded that she was doing something with her family.
I asked if maybe we could do something next week, but she didn't know.
One day after my birthday, I found out she lied.
She wasn't with her family, but with the group of girls we normally hung out with, except someone else replaced my spot.
It was a ten-second video that I replayed over ten times.
It was the exact day I wanted to do something for our birthdays.
