After the battle with the Glara the paladins headed back to their hangers. They were tried but glad that it was over.

Miki ran out of her mother's room when she heard Lance talking out loud. She ran to the room where they all stood and talked.

She sees her father and tackles him into a hug. "Dad!" She says happily as she hugs him. She was very happy to see that he was okay.

He chuckles lightly. He ruffles her hair a bit"Hello Miki." He kisses her head causing her to giggle more. She still had energy even in the war.

Wendy smiles softly"Miki such does have a lot of energy. Reminds me of Max and Geo when they were younger." She says softly.

Then she heard small baby babbles. She walked towards the sound to see Kira. She was awake and held a small baby toy in the shape of a loin.

Wendy was taken back a bit. "Why would a little baby be here on a ship all alone?" She asked herself as she debated on picked up the child or not.

"Because this is her mother's room" Wendy turns to see Shiro standing in the room. She didn't even hear him come in.

"Her mother huh..may I ask. Who is her mother?" The female asked as Shiro walked over and picked up Kira.

Shiro stood there slient for a while. He didnt know how to talk about Max's death even if it was with the others.

"Max" he spoke after some time pasted. "She's kira's mother..." he trailed off before speaking again. "She died after giving birth to her."

Kira babbles softly as she trys to reach her father's face. She was only 3 months old. But still managed to make her father smile. Just like her mother.

"Oh.." Wendy's voice was full of sadnnes and pain. One of children is dead. She hasn't seen them in years. This was her only change to maybe see them again.

Kira looked over at Wendy and giggles lightly as she reached out for her. She took not only her father but also her grandmother by surprise.

"She wants me to hold her?" She asked a bit shocked and scared. It been some time since she has held a baby.

"That's what it looks like." Shrio replied. Kira started to cry when no one was handing her to Wend. "Okay okay. You can get held by her okay"

Kira reaches out to Wendy even more. She looked up at Shiro if it was okay to hold her. He gave her a nod and a soft smile.

He placed Kira into the older woman's arms. "Oh wow.." she breaths. Kira stopped crying as soon as she was in Wendy's arms.

Her small baby babbles made Wendy smile even more. She slowly starts to rock the baby. Shiro couldn't help up smile at them.

But his smile didn't stay for long. He started to think about how that could-no should have been Max holding their child.

"Hey Unlce Klance!" Miki yelled when she saw Keith and Lance talking. She used the nickname Max gave them. She ran up to them giving them both a big hug.

Lance chuckles lightly as Keith smiles. "Hey there Miki! How's my favorite crazy ball?" Lance asked as he picked her up.

"I'm great!" She responds laughing as she was spinned around. Keith rolles his eyes lightly at Lance"Don't make her sick Lance"

"I won't make her sick." Lance reassured him. "Okay if you say so. But don't start to freak out when Miki gets dizzy and can't walk"

Miki giggles more. She loved hanging out with them. Even if they weren't blood related. She still loved them. And they loved her.

Lance and Keith were the only ones who knew about Miki being half Glara. She told them because Keith was half Glara as well. So she had some one to relate to.

Pidge looked over at them and smiles softly. She was happy to see Miki having fun. Even if her mother was gone.

Pidge was still looking for her brother and father. She would stay up to try and find them. She missed them a lot. More than anything.

But she knew she had a job to do. That would come first and foremost. The other paladins were like her family away from her family.

Shiro's thoughts were cut short after Wendy waved her hand in his face. "Shiro? Shiro dear? Are you okay?" She asked

He shakes his head and runs his hand though his small white tuff"Yea..i'm fine. Just really deep in thought."

With a light sigh Wendy sits next to him. She looked him in the eyes. "You miss her don't you?" She asked

He looked back at her before nodding"Very much...she was my everything..she was my wife."

"Wait the two of you got married?" She asked surprised that Max managed to find a guy and marry him.

He chuckles lightly"Yea. Just a few months ago. It was shortly after she told me that she was pregnant"

Kira had fallen asleep in her grandmother's arms but either one of them noticed. She layed her head on her chest and slept.

Shiro smiles at his daughter. Kira acted a lot like her mother. She had her mother's smile and kind heart. She took Keith by surprise when she giggled at him.

"She's a very fascinating." She says looking up at the taller male. She gives him a soft smile. "I'm glad that she'll have a great father"

Shiro was a bit taken back from the compliants he was getting from Wendy but smiled anyways. "Thank you miss."

Wendy very softly puts Kira back down in her crib. Kira's small purple white loin onesie moved a bit with her.

Miki soon walked into the room and grabbed her father's hand and tugged it. "Daddy. Come on. Let's go. You've been in the room too long"

Both of the adults couldn't help but chuckle at her. She was small but that's what made her loveable.

A long time pasted. More battles occurred here and there but then life went back to normal. For now it did.

It was during one of the battles when it went wrong. Miki being the adventurous little girl she was had followed her father or someone.

Geo stood next to her. "Miki stay near me please." He told her. The blonde female nodded"Okay Unlce George!" She replied.

He smiles softly at her ruffling her hair. Geo's loin like tail swayed side to side as they walked. They were on Glara shipping ground.

Pidge had found that they were shipping a crystal that could be very powerful if used in the right way or can be catastrophic if not.

Of course Miki walked away from her Unlce and found herself lost. She told herself to stay calm and that everything would be okay which didn't help her at all.

She was worrying so much about how to get back she didn't see nor hear the figure behind her. A weapon of some sort in hand. A wide white smile appeared on the figure's face.

When Miki turned around it was too late. The figure had grabbed her and held her down and coverd her mouth. Scared of her life Miki tired to get away.

But this was clearly a much older force. They kept the young girl pinned to the floor. Something then poked Miki's right arm.

She quickly kicked at the figures face and let out a cry of pain but mostly fear. She only hopped that someone heard her.

Hearing her crys of pain Geo quicky ran towards her. "Miki!? Miki!? Where are you?!" He spoke with a panic voice.

The alien male looked towards where he heard the yells. He didn't find a single thing. Panic started to set in. Not only his heart but his mind raced.

He though hastily on where on telling the rest of the team. He made up his mind after two seconds. "Guys...someome took Miki.." he spoke
