(WARNING FOR ALL CHAPTERS CONTAINS ABUSE, ALCOHOL, AND EHHH IDK WHAT ELSE XD)

We were just about to go home when Sylvia runs up to me and asks, "can I spend the night at one of your guy's house."

It was a Friday night and I know she doesn't want to go home. So I nod and say, "how about we all spend the night at my house."

We all nod, but Austin had to leave earlier since he had to study and he has a date with his boyfriend. Good luck bro! I smile at the thought out how well Austin's date will go.

"Hey, can I pick up a pair of clothes from my house first," Sylvia asks.

I hesitate but nod anyways. We all get in Franks car and Sylvia gives us directions to her house and we wait outside while she goes inside to get her clothes. After a few minutes, I hear glass break and a small cry. My eyes widen and I open the door, the band follows me in. Already I can smell the alcohol and cigarette smoke.  I cringe, but we continue walking. I soon hear a loud bang along with a scream in pain. We all run up the stairs and open a door the scream came from. Sylvia was on the ground with blood coming out of her mouth and a cut to the right of her eye. Her father was just about to smack her with a broken beer bottle.

I quickly shove him out of the way and say, "stop hurting her, you jerk."

He goes to hit me, but Miles pushes him to the ground. I hear Ryan helping Sylvia stand up, but fail. Her legs are bloody and I can see fresh bloody cuts from her father's beer bottle. Ryan lays her on the bed and just throws crap from her dresser into a bag he found. He throws it over his shoulder and him and Miles pick Sylvia up. They carry her out of the house to the car. Miles and I take care of her father, but then run to the car and drive away. We take Sylvia to my house and clean the cuts and bandage them.  She fell unconscious in the car so I'm guessing she was really scared. She didn't lose that much blood and just had some minor cuts so we didn't take her to the hospital. While we waited for her to wake up we tried to think of a way to ask her more about her past and what happened inside. At some point, later on in the night, we all fell asleep waiting for Sylvia to wake up.
