The boys look through the window at the unconscious girl laying on the hospital bed. "Is she going to be alright," Gerard asks the doctor. 

The doctor looks at his clipboard and says, "she's in a comma, the chances of her waking up is 42%."

Gerard growls and goes into the room she's in and sits next to her. Tears were on his cheeks as he whispers, "please Sylvia, wake up. Sylv please, p..pl..please wake up". Gerard sat with her pleading all night, the others sat there but eventually at night they went home. The doctors said it was fine if Gerard stayed there, he just had to notify the if something changes in her heart rate. He didn't leave her side nor did he fall asleep. In the morning when the rest of the band came back Gerard was still up by her side pleading for her to wake up. Frank tried to get Gerard to eat but he refused. After about a week Gerard still hasn't eaten nor slept and Sylvia hasn't woken from the comma. Finally Miles asks the doctor to do something so Gerard doesn't hurt himself over this. The doctor gave Miles two syringes full of some sleeping amnesiacs. Ryan carefully interjects the liquid into Gerard and after a few minutes he goes unconscious.  The boys take him home and they go to sleep.  The next day Gerard was back by Sylvias side. Eventually Gerard came every morning before school and then after school. Sylvia stayed unconscious for a while, it's been three months since Gerard got that call.
