Chapter 8
Hakuryuu's POV
Tsurugi led me to his house. He seemed to be very quiet. But I didn't mind. He would talk to me occasionally. And he would be happy.
Tsurugi opened the locked door.
"Do you have any brothers or sisters?" I asked, curious if we would be disrupted from our project.
"Yeah. I have an older brother....but he won't be here to bother us. My father will be home late, so we have peace for the work." He replied with dull eyes.
"Okay." I smiled at him. But he didn't return it. We sat in his dining room, his laptop available to use if we needed more research. But that was mainly for me as I had no idea about soccer.
We sat for about an hour deciding on each part of our presentation, before reaserching and noting down some interesting things. Tsurugi was writing down a lot of things, and fast.
"How's this?" He asked showing me the sheet of paper he had put some notes on. It was the history of the school's soccer. Going back to when Raimon beat Teikoku ten years ago.
"Wow.....You did this all from memory?" I asked as my eyes skimmed over the facts. There must have at least been 60.
"Yeah. My brother and my coach teach me a lot. Since Coach was the captain of Raimon ten years ago when they won the nationals and internationals. So he tells us a lot of things about back then."
"That's great." I smiled at him. He stared at his fingers. "Are you all right?" I asked him.
"I-I'm fine. I'm just not used to having people over." I chuckled slightly.
"Don't worry about. What's wrong with having people around anyway?"
"Just bad experiences." He replied.
After another hour of working on the presentation we packed up and put everything we had done in a folder. He put it on his bookshelf.
"I should be going now." I smiled at Tsurugi.
"Bye Hakuryuu." He whispered quietly, while yawning.
"Bye Tsurugi." He opened the door for me and I left, walking towards my house.
He looked really cute when he yawned.
