Me: Tsurugi is the main character in this *smiles.*

Hakuryuu: Who cares who the main character is? I wanna know why it's me and Tsurugi.

Me: Because it's cute.

Tsurugi: I don't see it.

Me: *sighs* You wouldn't.

Tsurugi POV

I walked to school. My hands in my pockets. My head looking down. I had visited my brother again the night before. It's getting tough with him in hospital. Father tries his best. But his son is ill. And he's finding it hard as well.

I walked onto the school grounds. I let out a small sigh, pushing my thick rimmed glasses up my nose. I walked on the soccer pitch to do a bit of morning practice.

"Ohayō!" A voice shouted joining me on the pitch. My best friend, and only one who knows the truth about me, Tenma ran onto the pitch.

"Ohayō Tenma." Tenma was the captain if the soccer team I was in. And we hated each other at first. I hated everyone really. But slowly. We began to trust each other. Tenma and I became best friends. He knows a lot of secrets about me. The main one being about my sexuality.

I'm gay.

And I have a huge crush on the most popular, most handsome boy in school. Hakuryuu. But I've bottled up all my feelings for him. Because a geek like me wouldn't stand a chance with him.

Even though everyone in school knows he's gay. Girls still hit on him. And I've noticed, he looks so uncomfortable when it happens. I feel so sorry for the poor boy.

Anyway, back to morning practice.

Tenma and I were kicking around the ball for a little while before the bell for first class started. We both got a drink me making our way to the lesson. That, luckily, we have together.

Let's just say the only friends I have are in the soccer club. I don't have many classes with them.

In my class was Hakuryuu. He was sat in seat in front and one to the left.

I always find myself stealing glances at him most of the lesson. But I promise I was paying attention. If I wasn't I'd be in trouble. My grades are perfect. And I can't ruin it now.
