I'm sorry for the terrible gossip. Never did it before so...hope it goes well for you guys.

Carol

My friends and I were hanging out in the mall to get some peace of mind. It has been a tough couple of days since...the incident and the others wanted to cheer me up. Did it work? No. Did it distract me? Yes. Though, that distraction ended once the we heard some gossip going on.

"Hey, did you hear?" One of the freshman in our school said.

"Hear what?" Another one said.

"Apparently, Lori Loud got arrested." She stated causing the other to gasp in shock.

"Wait, that Lori Loud...the one who is way too obsessed with her boyfriend." Her friend said.

"The same. Apparently, one of the other seniors posted a picture of her getting taken away in handcuffs. However, there's more." The freshman said.

"More?" Her friend said.

"Underneath the picture is an explanation on why she was arrested and it's so stupid." The freshman said.

"Like she was arrested for getting dumped by her boyfriend or something?" Her friend said.

"Worse. Apparently, she was fighting with her sister over a dress and when her brother chose to backup her sister....she stabbed him in his eye." The freshman said.

"That's so messed up." Her friend said.

"It is. Which is why I'm glad that she got taken away so she wouldn't hurt anyone else. Besides, who's to say that she wouldn't do anything to us." The freshman said causing the other to pale. When we were out of earshot, Dana turned to us with a haunted expression on her face.

"Was that true?" Dana asked.

"Sigh...unfortunately, it is." Becky said.

"What do you mean?" Teri said.

"Because I was the one who posted that photo." Becky said which caused the group to gasp in shock. 

"It was you?!" Whitney exclaimed. 

"I know that it's quite...shocking and unbelievable to all of us that Lori actually injured one of her siblings. However, at the time...I just felt conflicted about telling the entire world about it. It was either tell the truth or keep it inside which would've destroyed me." Becky said. For a couple of seconds, the rest of the group stayed silent since they were still processing that Becky told everyone about what Lori did. They each didn't know what to say and were honestly startled when Carol started to speak again.

"Sigh...Becky, I'm sure that everyone else isn't that mad at you for posting that photo and her actions before it was taken. Besides, I'm sure that you're deeply regretting what you have done." Carol said. 

"Carol's right, Becky. We're just stunned by the news that suddenly got dumped on all of us. Though, I can't help myself from thinking that Lori would've injured us if something doesn't go her way." Teri said.

"I mean, she did hurt her brother since he didn't chose to be on her side on a pointless argument. So it stands to reason that she would  eventually do something much worse than stabbing someone in the eye." Whitney said. After saying that, the group just stared at each other in silence since that statement settled in each of their minds. This incident showed that Lori believed that her way is the right way. Which would cause some serious consequences..not like she really understood considering how she acted.

"So what do we do? Will we keep our friendship with her or...." Dana asked. The girls just started at each other in silence. Do they really want to continue being friends with Lori or just eliminate before they get dragged into her problems? Eventually, the girls continued their day in the mall while this question stuck in their minds. They had to make a decision about the future of their friendship and needed time to process the information that was basically shoved down their throats (minus Becky and Carol).

At the same time, Luan stared at the post with mixed emotions. She wanted to be angry at the person who took the picture, but knew that she didn't have the heart to be angry at another person at the moment. After all, her sister...no, ex older sister injured her brother just because of a stupid argument. Though she was also dragged into the conflict when they treated Lincoln so poorly during it. 

"I wonder if we thought things better then maybe..." she started to say before shaking her head. What's done is done. Her sister injured her brother and got arrested for it. She can even bet that she wasn't even close to admitting her own fault. She was always like that except in the rare instances where she admitted it after seeing the consequences with her own two eyes. As she was about to set her laptop down, Luna rushed into the room with some tears running down her face.

"Luna? What's wro.." Luan started to say before she said something that caused her to cry too.
