"Come on Onny, hurry the fuck up," I groaned, while banging on the bathroom door.

"I'll be out in a minute!" She called out for what felt like the thousandth time.

Onyx had been hogging the bathroom for the past hour and the boys were already waiting for us in the common room.

"I'm leaving without you," I threatened.

I heard the bathroom door click open.

"No wait! I'm ready, you psycho," Onyx teased as she walked out of the bathroom and into our dorm. 

"Finally," I replied, rolling my eyes playfully.

We grabbed our bags and headed out the door, locking it behind us.

As we approached the stairwell, I instantly made eye contact with Lorenzo.

My stomach filled with butterflies.

He smirked and turned his attention back toward Draco who seemed to be telling a story.

"Don't think I didn't see that," Onyx said, nudging my shoulder with a giggle.

"See what?" I said, playing dumb.

"Oh don't give me that bullshit. Maria and Enzo sitting in a tree-" Onyx started.

"I'm gonna kill you," I said, slapping my hand over Onyx's mouth, which caused us to both erupt into laughter.

"Something funny?" Lorenzo asked as we approached the three boys.

"Nope, not at all," I replied quickly, before Onyx could.

"I'll get it out of you soon enough Maria, I'm sure of it," Lorenzo replied confidently.

"I wouldn't count on it," I said wittily.

"You all ready?" Draco asked.

Draco, Blaise, Lorenzo, Onyx, and I have gone on a camping trip every single year. It started when we were third years and the tradition has carried on ever since.

The rest of us nodded yes and we began to make our way outside when Draco stopped us.

"Oh, I forgot to mention that Pansy is joining us this year," Draco added nonchalantly.

"The fuck did he just say?" Onyx said.

"Draco, are you on crack or something?" I asked, purely out of shock.

"No and I don't get why it's so wrong that she comes with us," Draco said obliviously, "Plus I don't particularly want to fifth-wheel the entire weekend," He added.

"Fifth?" I asked, though I could feel my cheeks beginning to blush.

"Like it isn't obvious that you and Enzo have a thing for each other," Draco blurted.

Lorenzo tried to stifle a laugh as we made eye contact.

"No offense Draco, but we all kinda, you know... hate Pansy," Blaise chimed in.

"What, why?" Draco replied.

"For starters, she's fucking annoying," Blaise said.

"And mean," Lorenzo added.

"And she's constantly hitting on Enzo too," Onyx said. She knew this was the exact reason why Pansy annoyed me so much.

"All true," I said.

"Well guys, I'm sorry but I didn't know you felt this way and I already invited her..." Draco trailed off. I could tell he felt guilty.

"It's fine, we will try to make the most out of it," I said, in an attempt to make him feel better.

"Where is she anyway?" Blaise asked.

"Ah, there she is," Onyx said, as Pansy began to approach the top of the staircase leading down to us.

"Hi guys," Pansy said cheerily as she descended the staircase.

Who knows, maybe this weekend won't be so bad after all.

"And hi Enzo," She added flirtatiously.

Nevermind.

We arrived at the campsite and Pansy was already starting to get on my nerves.

"Enzo, will you help me set up this tent?" She called.

"No," He replied and I tried my best to stifle a laugh.

"Pleaseeeee," Pansy whined.

I felt inclined to pull Draco aside.

"Draco," I started.

"Yes Maria?"

"You don't even like Pansy as a friend, so why did you invite her?" I asked.

"I don't know, I didn't realize she would be this unbearable," Draco answered apologetically.

"We can try to make the best of it," I said.

"Thank you," Draco replied.

"But if she tries one more thing on Enzo I swear to god I will not hesitate to beat this bitch's ass," I added.

"Did you just admit to liking Lorenzo?" Draco teased.

"Oh fuck off," I answered, dodging the question.

"I knew it! I knew something was going on between you two!" Draco shouted.

"If you don't lower your voice, I will make Pansy sleep in your tent tonight," I threatened jokingly.

"You're evil," Draco replied with a laugh as we began to make our way back to the group.

"What were you two talking about?" Lorenzo asked, noticing our arrival.

"You know, you're very nosy," I said.

"What did you just say Maria?" Lorenzo called, making his way toward me.

"I said that you're nosy," I repeated.

"Oh you think so?" Lorenzo teased.

He grabbed my waist and picked me up, throwing me over his shoulder.

"Let me down Enzo!" I squealed through laughter.

He eventually set me down after a lot of begging.

"What was that for?" I said, punching his chest playfully.

"I just had to show Pansy who I actually want," Lorenzo whispered into my ear, as he stood up and walked away.

I glanced over toward Pansy's direction. Her eyes already rested on me. She looked jealous, angry even.

Serves her right.

The sun had set and the group was now sitting around the campfire that Draco has impressively built.

"Wow Draco," I began.

"What?" He replied.

"Did your daddy teach you how to make this good of a fire?" I joked.

"I hate you," Draco said, holding up his middle finger at me as we all began to laugh.

"Maria will you come with me to the bathroom?" Onyx interrupted.

"Sure, Pansy do you want to join us?" I added in an attempt to make amends.

"I'll pass," Pansy said coldly.

I give up on trying with her.

"I don't get it, why do girls always go to the bathroom in pairs?" Blaise inquired.

"You're an idiot Blaise," Onyx replied, rolling her eyes.

"You love me," Blaise added.

"I guess so," She said with a laugh, as the two of us made our way to the bathroom.

Onyx and I had just gotten back from the bathroom.

Lorenzo slid over on his wooden bench and patted the open spot next to him. He made eye contact with me and beckoned me with his finger.

"Look who saved me a seat," I teased, as I sat down.

Lorenzo responded by placing his arm around my waist, almost in a possessive manner.

We continued to talk until eventually, I drifted off with my head resting on Lorenzo's legs.

I woke up to the feeling of someone poking me gently in the shoulder.

"Huh?" I said, as my eyes opened.

"We're all going back to our tents," Lorenzo whispered in a comforting manner.

"Well thank you for not leaving me out here alone," I replied.

"Eh, I debated it but eventually decided against it," Lorenzo retorted playfully.

He always had the perfect response to anything and everything.

I got up and walked over to my tent.

"Night Lorenzo," I called out quietly.

"Goodnight Maria," He replied.

I immediately snapped out of my lustful state when I crawled into the tent.

"Help me," Onyx mouthed silently.

I glanced over and saw Pansy sprawled out, essentially taking up all of the room.

I rolled my eyes and laid down, trying my best to get comfortable.

Somehow I managed to fall asleep and when I woke up it was already three o'clock in the morning.

I unzipped the tent quietly, as to not wake up Onyx or Pansy, and slipped out.

I tiptoed quietly through the woods and toward the trail that led to the bathroom, using my flashlight as a guide.

Suddenly, I felt someone grab my hand and spin me around, causing me to drop my flashlight onto the hard ground.

My fear instantly subsided when I locked eyes with Lorenzo.

"God Enzo! You almost gave me a heart attack," I yelled, pushing him lightly in the chest. "I hate when you sneak up on me like that."

"But it's so much more fun this way Maria," Lorenzo said flirtatiously, grabbing me by the waist and pulling me close.

I could feel the warmth radiating off of his toned body.

Enzo's lips instantly attached to mine. He picked me up, so that my legs were wrapped around his waist. He started to kiss up and down my neck, leaving purple marks that would surely be noticeable to our friends in the morning.

"Lorenzo..." I said.

"What Maria?" Enzo replied, only removing his lips from my neck for a split second.

"Everyone is going to know about us if you keep leaving marks on my neck," I breathed.

"Good, I don't want anyone else even thinking that they have a shot with you," Lorenzo replied, while maintaining eye contact. "You're mine Maria, all mine."

We were on our way back to the campsite, when I noticed a light turn on in my tent.

"Shit!" I whispered to Enzo.

We both dropped down to the ground into a squatting position and hid behind a large oak tree.

Onyx walked outside of our tent, scanned the area around her, and turned back as if she was going to retreat back to bed.

"You two are not slick," She called out before going back into the tent.

Lorenzo and I couldn't stop ourselves from laughing as we stood up, brushing the dirt off of us.

"Goodnight again Maria," Lorenzo said quietly, as he parted ways with me and walked over to his tent.

"Goodnight again," I replied.

"Wake up whore," Onyx yelled, shaking me violently.

"What time is it?" I groaned.

"9 am," She replied.

"If it's only 9 then why the fuck are you waking me up?" I asked, annoyance present in my voice.

"I guess you could say that it's payback for waking me up at 3 am," Onyx dropped her voice to a low whisper.

"That's fair," I replied with a smile.

I threw my hair up into a messy bun and crawled out of our tent.

Lorenzo was already up, cooking breakfast over the fire.

He has always been such an early bird, which will never make sense to me.

"Morning," I said groggily to no one in particular.

"Look who's finally up!" Draco teased.

I flipped him off playfully and made my way over to Enzo.

"You look good," He said, pulling my waist toward him.

"So this is what we're doing now?" I asked, confused as to where we stood publicly.

"I think the marks on your neck are more of a dead giveaway," Lorenzo remarked with a proud smirk.

Fuck. I forgot.

I wasn't even able to look in a mirror this morning, considering that there are none here.

"Embarrassed?" Lorenzo asked, still smirking devilishly.

"Don't be," He whispered in my ear.

I walked toward Onyx.

Knowing my best friend, she would one hundred percent be honest with me.

As I approached her she started to laugh uncontrollably.

"Is it really that bad?" I said, my cheeks flushing red.

"Yeah, it really is," Onyx replied, still laughing.

"Shit."

"Ah, calm down. Just wear my sweatshirt, the hood should cover it," Onyx advised, handing me her hoodie.

"I adore you," I said, while pulling it over my head.

I made eye contact with Lorenzo from across the campsite.

He flashed me a wink, noticing my outfit change.

"Oh my god, we all already know about you two love birds, there's no need to try and hide it anymore," Draco interrupted, clearly having noticed the entire encounter.

Lorenzo and I immediately bursted into laughter.

Guess we aren't as slick as we thought.
