Chapter Eighteen

Chapter Eighteen

"Great, so now we're not safe in our sleep either?" Theo demanded. His brothers, as well as Lucifer's children, all murmured in agreement.

We'd managed to herd the group of hormonal pieces of crap into the living room where they took up more space than clowns in a mini-car. All of Lucifer's children, and their special someones, then all my sons dragging along their special someones. My god, might as well just call it a Valentine's meeting and get it over with.

Even more revolting was the fact that Thorn and Ambrosius had been sharing a love seat the moment we walked in Ambrosius was sprawled back against Thorn's chest, both of them laying across it. Like, that's not how you use that thing, you idiots. Sit like normal people, not like a couple of love sick idiots. It got even worse when they started holding hands and Ambrosius gave me this smug as shit glance.

Screw you, kid.

"This is dangerous," Zelios said grimly, folding his arms over his chest and leaning on the wall near the entryway, "If we don't sleep, our magic will begin to deplete. Their goal is to drain us slowly. And with lack of sleep comes a whole new set of problems, such as hallucinations and mania." Noe looked horribly uncomfortable by the idea and was rubbing his arm, staring down at Zelios's feet. Zelios noticed and stroked the hair back from his face, giving his hand a comforting squeeze.

Get a room.

"And if the Titans are infiltrating our dreams," Malachi continued where Zelios left off, "That means the oneiroi have been taken over. We can't just stand around here and do nothing while they're being picked off like flies. They need our help." Adrian nodded his agreement. Of course he was going to suck up to his boyfriend. Good on you, half-breed Titan.

"We can't just go barging in there," Charon pointed out, making Malachi frown at him, "It could just be a trap. They might expect us to just run in there and they'll ensnare us, like they did last time." Cerberus shuddered at the memory and Blaine gave him an elbow in the ribs.

"But we can't abandon them either," Abel prompted, "First of all, that's a douche move. And second of all, they protect our dreams. Without them, our dreams are open for infiltration, as we've already seen. We need to do something about the situation." Cain shrugged, folding his arms over his chest.

"I dunno. I can last without sleep." He replied. Abel grimaced.

"You're bitchy enough as it is. I don't want to see you lacking sleep." He told him. Cain scowled and Abel just gave him a cheery smile and patted him on the head for it. Their relationship was always baffling to me. It wasn't the incest, but rather the fact that Abel forgave Cain for killing him a hundred times and the fact that Cain was the most insufferable idiot in the world. Even I just wanted to bash his head through a wall once in a while.

"What can we do if we're all the way over here and there's on the opposite end of the underworld, probably surrounded by Titans?" Theo said dryly, rubbing the back of his neck. Sept frowned.

"If the Titans are attacking us in our dreams, surely we can fight back in our dreams," He pointed out, making everyone glance at him curiously, "We're not experienced in astral projection, I realize that, but the dreams are technically under our control. The Titans must appear to us in our dreams as our greatest fear, to distract us from concentrating on the dream itself. If we can concentrate on the dream itself, we can alter it to suit our needs. We could just easily wish the Titans out of the dream and they would have no choice. That would solve the Titans attacking our dreams anyway."

"I like that idea," Cerberus said innocently, "Short, sweet, to the point and doesn't involve getting captured again." Blaine rolled his eyes.

"Don't be such a baby. You were just trapped in a cage."

"I don't like cages. They're cramped and it hurts my ass. You ever try to sit in a cage?"

"Actually, yeah. But I wasn't a dog." Blaine replied. Cerberus covered his face with a hand, giving up on arguing with the fae. Gods knew there was no stopping Blaine if he was on a roll. Blaine just looked up at him smugly, blindly, of course. Part of me debated giving him back his sight right now, but he would probably just use it to find me and beat the shit out of me. Or worse, screw Cerberus more or so than he already does.

"Well, we can't leave the oneiroi to fend for themselves," Abel said again, irritated this time, "We need to help them."

"No offense," Theo said dryly, "But they've never helped me, so in the words of a wise man, fuck them." Abel gave Theo a curious stare and Theo avoided by suddenly being interested in the split ends he didn't have.

"We'll have to wait until we launch the attack on the Titans first," Lucifer spoke up at last, making everyone look at him as he frowned, "I don't like having to put it off. The oneiroi seem to be very important to your people. But we can't risk going in there. It's too dangerous right now. And chances are, Charon's right; it's a trap to lure us in and capture us." Abel seemed distressed by the news, but he had to learn to accept the better option out of the bunch. I'm just glad Abel wasn't impulsive and stupid as Ambrosius and Cerberus to go barging in where they don't belong.

I knew Ambrosius and Cerberus had good intentions by going there, but Zeus was not a man to be talked into things by a couple of twerps. Ambrosius could be as cute and fluffy as he wanted, but Zeus would probably just use that to hurt him and Cerberus didn't know when enough was enough, so Zeus would've killed him without a second thought.

"So, what now? Just go with Sept's plan to fight back? What if we can't?" Noe asked warily, rubbing at his arm. Zelios frowned.

"Well, we all share a room with someone. We can take turns, watching the other sleep in case they're being attacked. When we suspect an attack, we just wake the other person up." He offered. Abel considered that before nodding.

"I like that idea. I haven't pulled an all-nighter in a while anyway." He explained.

"Let's just hope the other person doesn't fall asleep." Thorn muttered, making Ambrosius twitch.

"Fall asleep easy?" Alaric asked from his spot leaning on the sofa between Dania and Jaques, who'd spent nearly the entire meeting glaring at me. I could just feel the sexual tension.

"He's a heavy sleeper," Thorn explained, making Ambrosius roll his eyes, "Trying to wake him up is like trying to wake the dead."

"Yeah, at least I don't snore like a fright train." Ambrosius snapped irritably. Thorn just smiled at him.

"We both know I don't snore."

"Oh yes, you do. You sound like this." Ambrosius made an obnoxious sound that made his brothers and Alaric laugh. Thorn blushed lightly and just covered Ambrosius's mouth, making Ambrosius smirk and pull his hand away so he could tilt his head back to kiss at Thorn's cheek. Thorn just huffed and turned his head away. Ambrosius was only further amused, and so were his brothers. My stomach churned and I don't think I could've stood there any longer if I wanted to.

I quit the room as silently as possible, heading for the kitchen for something decent to fill my aching stomach. Much to my relief, Niki was in there preparing a small tray of food.

"You're back to being my servant." I said dryly, trying not to show the bitterness underlying my tone. Niki just smiled up at me, holding the tray toward me.

"Sorry so much busy. Dorean teaching Niki how to talk better. Then Niki can talk to master a lot." He exclaimed excitedly. I said nothing to that. I didn't want Niki to learn how to talk, because once he learned how to speak properly, he'd learn how to curse me properly and even though he couldn't quit this job, I wouldn't be able to bring myself to kill him for insulting me. I just took the tray from Niki and gave him the rest of the day off to spend with Dorean and Xenon in the city. I went to my room alone and sat on the bed, enjoying the yogurt and crackers Niki had made for me.

There was a knock on my door, making me roll my eyes as I set down my glass of lemon water, swallowing the food in my mouth.

"If it's not important, get the hell out. If it is, get the hell out." I called. I waited, and of course, the door opened anyway and I rolled my eyes, dipping a pita chip into the small tin of hummus. Lucifer made his entrance, making me narrow my eyes at him.

"That's a small lunch," Lucifer commented, making me frown further, "I was thinking maybe we could go out to lunch today. There's a nice restaurant on Mercury Avenue."

"I'm fine with just this." I stated, then paused to look down at my own lunch. For some reason, it'd never occured to me how little I ate, and how quickly I was filled by it. A small container of yogurt, tin of hummus with just a few pita chips on the side and lemon water. Maybe that was why I was irritable. I'd told myself I was full when I was really starving myself.

"Come on," Lucifer pressed, making me glare at him again, "Just for an hour. It'll just be you and me. The kids have their own plans for the day. And you won't leave. The only time you've left was to go to Olympus. You can't stay locked in the palace all day and expect to feel good. You need sunlight. Just this once, humor me. If you don't like the city, you don't have to go back." I clenched my teeth. I wanted to argue, but at the same time, this was a chance to feed the curiosity that had been brewing inside me about a foreign city full of people who surely wouldn't recognize me. Would I actually be able to go outside without anyone fleeing from me?

"All right," I muttered, "But just so you know, I don't eat a lot of meat." Lucifer smiled.

"I've noticed. That's perfectly okay. I'm not a fan of it either. It hurts my teeth," He added, making me give him an odd stare before he just smiled again, "I'll be downstairs in the lobby waiting." He left a moment later. I debated letting him just wait there all day, but that wouldn't do me any good. I climbed off the bed and changed into a pair of snug jeans and a sharp v-neck with length length sleeves and a connected loose shirt poking above the v-neck. I pulled on a pair of black boots before heading down the stairs, thankfully avoiding any of the children along the way. I think I needed a break from them. I hadn't spent this much time with them in quite a while. It easier to avoid their hatred when we lived separately, but now were sharing a home and each time I accidentally bumped into them in the hallway, they'd curl their lip.

Maybe that was an exaggeration. Abel just came up with a shit excuse and ran away. Charon pretended he didn't notice me. Zelios gave me a polite nod that he gave everyone. Alaric bumped into me once and tried to have a casual conversation, but damn it, I didn't want to talk about me. He was an artificial. Infinitely more interesting than a god.

I met Lucifer downstairs, seeing he'd changed into a laidback pair of jeans and a lilac polo.

"You look nice." Lucifer told me. I gave him an odd stare.

"I'm a god. I always look nice." I replied. Lucifer just smiled before we teleported from his home to this Mercury Avenue. I was instantly mystified by it. Styx was the largest city in my realm, and yet, it looked nothing like this place did. Styx was a variety of colors, but still rather bleak. And yet, this one street was lit up with neon signs that caused the central fountain to glitter with color. Numerous tables were set out and occupied by couples and families as they enjoyed their lunch. Trees lined the streets, blossoms fluttering to the ground as a gentle warm wind passed through.

I followed Lucifer down the street, waiting for someone to notice me and shout or run, but no one did. If anything, people waved. Of course, it was directed at Lucifer, but it was still amazing that no one cringed at the sight of me. Even if they just passed me as another citizen, I didn't care. As long as no one screamed and ran away from me, I was enthralled.

The restaurant Lucifer had chose was a very nice laidback restaurant, nothing too high class. It was at the end of the street in neutral hues and bright signs. We climbed a small wrought iron staircase to the entrance and came inside. I was instantly struck by all sorts of familiar scents. Mediterranean foods. It smelled heavenly and my stomach growled in protest at my hesitation to eat everything in sight. The restaurant opened into a small foyer where a hostess gathered our menus and went to seat us in an open area full of tables and booths. A few people were already seated, a few waving to Lucifer and a few nodding respectfully. We passed an open glass case near the register full of cakes and pies and--

Was that baklava?

Okay, maybe this wasn't so bad.

We were seated in a two person booth in a far secluded corner near an old-fashioned jukebox that was playing relaxing lounge music. We sat right near the windows that looked out over the city, since the restaurant was on the third floor. It was a nice place.

"What would you like as an appetizer?" Lucifer asked, opening up his menu. I blinked, snapping out of my daze to look down at my menu. It took me a moment to realize it was in English. I was used to reading things in Greek back at home. I frowned at the menu, unable to recognize any of the names of the things.

"What should I be looking for?" I asked dryly. Lucifer smiled.

"We'll just get the all in one platter for an appetizer. You mentioned not being a fan of meat, so I'd recommend the falafel rice pilaf mix with a side of sour yogurt. Oh, there's also lentil soup to start off, unless you prefer a Greek salad that comes with feta cheese and olives." He explained, looking back down at the menu. I stared at him. Why did all of that sound good? I wanted all of it.

"I want all of whatever you just said." I stated. Lucifer chuckled.

"Then I'll order you that."

"What are you getting?"

"I like the sound of this lamb plate. It comes with a bit of everything and I'm in a mood for it."

"I thought you weren't fond of meat."

"Today's an acception. Might as well eat it. I never know when the last time I'll be able to." Lucifer admitted with a shrug, shutting his menu. I frowned at that. The waitress came and took our order, which Lucifer did all the talking for as I wasn't in the mood to converse with a total stranger. She took our menus and left, leaving behind a small basket of pita chips and hummus.

"Do you like the city?" Lucifer asked. I tried not to show how much I really enjoyed it, but it was difficult.

"Nice place. Very clean." I said. Lucifer smiled.

"Is that it? I saw the way you looked at this place. It reminded me of the first time Ambrosius visited. You two are very alike... Maybe that's why you don't get along. They say people who are the same don't get along."

"I can see that," I said dryly, "I piss myself off sometimes. But Ambrosius is just... naive. That's what irritates me. And next time we have a meeting and your son is pawing all over mine, I might just have to set your palace on fire." Lucifer sighed, sitting back in his seat.

"They're adults, Hades."

"Technically, Ambrosius is only seventeen. So no. No, he's not an adult. Which makes your kid a pedophile."

"I think Ambrosius accused Thorn of the same thing once. But no, really, Hades," Lucifer said, leaning forward on the table again, making me roll my eyes, "He's a man now and he knows what he wants. I know it bothers you to see Ambrosius grow up so quickly, but he's a god as well. They grow up quite quickly. And he's matured quite quickly as well." I didn't want to admit that. I knew very well that by god standards, Ambrosius was an adult, but that didn't matter to me. He was seventeen, looked like a grown man in his mid-twenties, but his mind wasn't keeping up with his body. He still acted like a horny teenager and it was driving me nuts. I knew I should've just bought him a prostitute when he turned sixteen.

I just didn't want to sully my son.

Ambrosius had been so perfect. So objective. Intelligent, powerful, mature, and yet... There was an innocence to him that I savored. An innocence I was never allowed to have. I wanted him to retain that innocence as long as possible. Mine had been viciously torn away. And he'd just tossed his at the first man who smiled at him. It pissed me off that he could just throw it away like that.

"He was stupid to fall in love with your son. And I don't feel bad for insulting Thorn, so get over it." I muttered. Lucifer tilted his head at me.

"Thorn is an adult. He can defend himself. He has no need for me to rush to his defense anymore. He's my son. He's mature and he's intelligent, thoughtful, and he loves Ambrosius. I've never seen Thorn look at someone the way he looks at Ambrosius. And Ambrosius smiles now. I noticed that upon meeting him, he never smiled, never laughed. Aren't you at least a little happy for him?" He asked.

"No." I deadpanned. Lucifer sighed and we dropped the conversation. I wasn't lying to Lucifer, and I knew it made me a bad person, but I didn't care. I wasn't going to hate myself for being selfish when it came to my sons. I had them first. Then suddenly some slut with a smile comes in and sweeps them off their feet. It's not fair.

The waitress brought us our appetizers and I was amazed at how huge the plate was. A long rectangular plate with grape leaves, falafel, olives, hummus. Even better, it was delicious and I'd ended up eating half of it. Our meals were even more delicious as I bit into the rice mixed with the yogurt and falafel. I smeared a bit of hummus on a spoonful and ate it as Lucifer listened to the waitress talking about something I couldn't care less about, but really?

Lady, we're trying to eat here, just go away.

As if sensing my disapproval, she excused herself and left as Lucifer returned to enjoying his meal. A moment later, the waitress returned with two bottles that looked suspiciously like beer bottles.

"You trying to get me drunk for something?" I asked dryly, reaching for the bottle anyway. Lucifer chuckled.

"No. I just think you need to relax. You've been rather uptight lately."

"Just call me annoying and get it over with."

"You are annoying." Lucifer admitted. I smirked at that, then took a deep swig of the alcohol, which turned out to be way stronger than beer. It was a harsh burn all the way down my throat into my stomach, but it felt oddly nice and warm, so I continued drinking as I ate with Lucifer taking small sips of his every so often.

"Aren't angels supposed to be pure?" I asked halfway through our meal, feeling warm and fuzzy from the alcohol. I ordered another bottle and Lucifer was only halfway through with his as he cast me a smile.

"I'm not really an angel anymore, am I?"

"You look like one," I admitted, making Lucifer arch a brow, "No, like, all the pictures of blonde pretty angels. Yeah, like that. Ugh, I think I'm getting tipsy. Where's that other bottle? Does another bottle not mean anything? Or are the civilians started to ignore me also?" Lucifer smirked at that as he took a sip of his bottle, finishing his meal.

"Don't you want dessert?" He asked.

"Oh god, yes. Baklava. And I think I saw a slice of cake I wanted too. I want both. And ice cream."

"You're awfully talkative when you're drunk."

"I'm not drunk, I'm toasty. I want my dessert." I commanded. Lucifer nodded and waved the waitress over, taking my order.

"And bring me another bottle, damn it!" I called after her. She scurried away and I looked at Lucifer, who shook his head at me as he licked the hummus off his spoon before pausing to look behind me out the window.

"It's getting dark earlier. Must be a storm coming in. We should leave after dessert so as not to get caught up in it." Lucifer said thoughtfully. I scoffed, licking at the leftover droplets of alcohol on the nose of the bottle, pausing to notice the way Lucifer stared at me. I stuck my tongue into the nose of the bottle and Lucifer averted his eyes awkwardly. I smirked, setting it down and leaning back in my seat, tilting my head to the side.

"What's the matter, Lucy? Starting to get why people call me a whore behind my back?" I asked, reaching my foot under the table to rub his thigh. Lucifer scooted away, glancing innocently over his shoulder to see if the waitress was coming. I smirked, then perked up as the waitress finally came with my dessert. Unable to resist my raging sweet tooth, I dug into the morbidly sweet meal, filling the final void in the pit of my stomach. I moaned at the assault of sweet flavors, enjoying a second bottle of the toxic alcoholic drink before Lucifer encouraged me to leave. It may or may not have had to do with the fact that I spilled some alcohol on the floor.

What? It was a compliment!

We left the restaurant and I barely made it down the street without tripping. As soon as we made it to the main street, it was beginning to rain.

"I can just teleport us." Lucifer started, but I shook my head as I continued down the sidewalk and he hurried to keep up with me.

"I like the rain. I'm really hot, so it's nice to cool down. Ha, double induendo. Get it? Because I'm hot both ways. Ugh, man, I really want... I want to get in bed. You have any whorehouses around here?"

"I'm afraid not," Lucifer replied as he steadied me once after almost falling in the gutter, "They're located in Portius and even then, I disapprove of it. I only allow it because some people honestly want it as an occupation."

"I would," I laughed, "I get paid to have sex with people? That sounds great."

"And if you don't like the client?"

"Rob his ass after we're done."

"You'd get fired."

"If I got caught." I sang. Lucifer rolled his eyes, but said nothing more as we continued down the street toward the palace that sat a top a hill overlooking the city. The rain was nice and cool, soaking my hair and causing it to stick to my face and neck. I savored the droplets sliding down the back of my shirt, down my arms. I closed my eyes and just stumbled along with Lucifer holding me by the elbow. We managed to make it to the palace, but the stairs were a bigger problem. Halfway up, Lucifer just teleported us to the front door just as it was opening for Cerberus, Blaine, Ambrosius, Thorn, Raven, and his boyfriend, Devereaux. It was too bad he was dating Lust. I could use an easy lay right about now.

"Where did you guys go?" Raven asked, frowning curiously at me. I just stared at him blankly as Lucifer kept a grip on my elbow to keep me from teetering the wrong way.

"Out to eat." Lucifer replied cheerfully. Raven arched an eyebrow at that, folding his arms over his chest as Devereaux smirked as if he knew something we didn't. Ambrosius grimaced at me, then looked at Lucifer.

"You got him drunk?" He asked.

"I didn't do anything," Lucifer said surprisingly defensive, "He was the one who kept drinking."

"I thought we were supposed to do that thing where we try to stay awake." Cerberus drawled and Blaine scoffed, but said nothing more. What a big surprise that the big mouth of the group had nothing to say about this whole situation. Wasn't it funny to see me act like an idiot? I thought it was funny.

"Just make sure he doesn't burn the house down." Ambrosius sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose before passing me on the way out.

"And make sure you don't get pregnant!" I called after him. Ambrosius blushed and shot me a dirty look, grabbing Thorn and dragging him away. Everyone else just shrugged and went after them before closing the door as Lucifer took us upstairs to his room.

"What about my room?" I asked stubbornly as he shut his bedroom door behind us and made his way across the gigantic bedroom. It was by far larger than the guest rooms. The ceiling towered high above us by at least thirty feet. While with a rather stately panel across the walls and white paneled ceiling with a large white canopy bed with gold painted posts. Across the room was a large desk and work space in front of a wall that was made entirely of ceiling to floor windows with long white curtains made of transparent silks that billowed. A large flat screen over a long white dresser decorated with gold geometric designs. It smelled heavily of vanilla in here.

"God, you're such a chick." I muttered. Lucifer chose to ignore me as he made his way to the bathroom.

"You can just sleep in here. I have work to do, so it'll be easier to keep an eye on you."

"'Scuse you," I snorted, "I'm not a child. I need no looking after." Lucifer once again ignored me as he went to the bed. His brushing me off was pissing me off. He went to the bed to pull the sheets back for me, so I took my chance and came up behind him. He stiffened and turned to face. I pushed him down on the bed and climbed on top of him, getting right in his face, nose brushing his. He stared at me.

"Hades. I got you drunk so you would relax and go to sleep. Hopefully the alcohol--"

"Shut the hell up and let me kiss you." I snapped, then captured his lips with mine. I moaned at the taste of lemons and alcohol on his breath. He squeezed his eyes shut and went to push at my chest, but I refused to back off as I intensified the kiss. He hadn't shaved in a couple days, so there was a nice prickly beard and mustache to scratch my skin. I snaked my hands up his shirt, groping at the firm muscles there. Lucifer moved his hands from pushing to my chest to reaching up around my neck, his hands sinking into my hair, pulling my head back from his lips. He was panting hard against my mouth, celestial blue eyes glazed over. I licked my lips, brushing his in the process.

"Hades," Lucifer warned in a low voice that gave me chills, "You're doing this because you're drunk, because you're... Well, honestly, I don't know. I'd like to."

"For every question you ask me, you have to let me do something to you."

"If that something is sexual, fine."

"And people call me horny." I breathed against his mouth, then went to kiss him again, but he yanked me back and I glared at him, wanting to slug him for interrupting again. My cock was so hard it hurt and I wanted to rip these damned pants off.

"First question," Lucifer said calmly, making me roll my eyes as I sat back to pull my shirt off over my head, "Why are you doing this with me? I told you where the brothels were." I smirked.

"What a waste of a question," I told him, tossing my shirt aside before leaning down to force his head back, kissing at his throat, savoring the wet skin there, making him taste like the rain, "Because you're not the type to treat me like shit afterwards. We can just go back to the mutual hate thing we had going on."

"I never hated you, Hades." He murmured, his fingers lacing themselves in my hair as I licked a hot path down his stomach. I said nothing to that, because I didn't believe it. I wasn't drunk enough to fall for that shit. But I didn't care. He hated me, but he wouldn't hurt me. He had morals.

I pulled the zipper of his jeans down with my teeth before smirking as I peered up at him suspiciously.

"Go commando often?"

"I was in a hurry."

"As if." I snorted, taking him out of his pants and into my mouth, hand stroking the base of him. He was a bit on the large side too, which surprised me. I don't know why I was expecting him to be small. My lips stretched around him as I took him as deep as I could go without choking. Lucifer hissed past clenched teeth, fisting my hair and giving it a tug. A silent plea for more and a smirk spread across my lips before I continued to suck and tease him with my tongue. I didn't want him to come right away, though. It wasn't my style, so I took my mouth away from him and he shot me an irritated stare.

"Don't have sex with men often?"

"I've never had a male lover." Lucifer deadpanned. I laughed.

"Oh, you never will then. We're not lovers. We're drunk and hungry." I replied, then licked another hot path up his chest again. His hands were hesitant where to go, so I grabbed them and placed them on my hips, helping him hike my pants down.

"But you seem experienced. Do you take many male... Well, do you have sex with men often?" Lucifer asked, tilting his head to bury against my throat. A small twinge of fear shot through my system, but I didn't dare show it in front of Lucifer as I swallowed it down and let him suck at my throat.

"Yes," I answered casually, arching my neck to give him more access, despite the part of me that really just wanted to slink out of the bed and vomit, "Men and women equally. Lately men are more fun." Lucifer accepted that as he ran his hands down to grab my ass, pulling me further up his body so I could rub him between my legs. He hissed at that, baring his fangs. Another sliver of fear that I choked own as I captured his lips, kissing him hungrily.

"Have you ever fallen in love with any of them?" Lucifer asked as I leaned up along his body to let him take a nip at my nipple. I smirked at his innocent question, tilting my head down to bury my nose against his hair.

"Absolutely not."

"You're lying."

"I just don't want you to get any funny ideas about this."

"You've made it quite clear that you're just using me."

"Good," I told him breathlessly, body aching for more as I propped myself up above him, "Since this is your first, you can do me. I need it anyway." Lucifer nodded, and started to get up, but I shoved him back down on the bed and he gave me a curious stare.

"Ah, ah. I'm always on top." I said sternly. Lucifer appeared confused by that, but said nothing as I summoned a tube of my own lubrication. Because God knows Lucifer wouldn't carry it and my body still felt Zeus. A small shiver went through me as I buried my fingers into me, slick and dripping. Lucifer just stared at up at me. I could tell he was trying to read me, as if there was anything to be read. His eyes glowed, his hands seeking out my hips again. A small thrill shot through me at being touched as I stretched myself.

"Are you thinking about someone in particular?" Lucifer asked, tilting his head against the pillow. I panted, taking my fingers away and propping myself up above him.

"No." I told him flatly, then brought myself down on top of him. Lucifer hissed and I groaned, tilting my head back, sucking in a long breath as I went all the way to the root. Pain pulsed hot through my hips and I closed my eyes, savoring the feel of him stretching me wide open, throbbing inside me. Lucifer sank his nails into my his and I jerked, causing him to instantly retract them.

"Sorry." Lucifer grunted. I rolled my eyes, preparing to call him a pussy when I met his eyes. They were no longer a deep celestial blue, but a swirling deep shade of red. His fangs elongated to the point where he had to keep his mouth open to avoid cutting his lips, his tongue touching his bottom lip hungrily. A shudder coursed through me and I moaned.

Holy shit. I wasn't expecting the timid little archangel to be incredibly sexy when he went fallen angel on me. That was an unexpected surprise that I savored as he thrust his hips up against me and I cried out from the force of it. He arched his back, grinding himself against me as I moaned and closed my eyes. I rode him for what felt like ever, trying to fight back the climax that was riding hot inside me. I wanted this feeling to last forever. It didn't hurt, just a dull throbbing ache that mixed well with the hot pleasure rushing through my veins like flows of lava.

So hot.

Lucifer sat up slowly, making me blink my eyes open as he put his arms around me, touching his forehead to mine. I panted for breath, eyelids fluttering as I struggled to contain the build of climax.

"What're you doing?" I managed breathlessly. Lucifer brushed his lips past mine, his fangs tickling my skin before he met my eyes, still glowing red hot.

"I want to see you in euphoria." He muttered. I looked at him confused until he captured my lips and I groaned. Somehow, this angel had managed to master the art of kissing with fangs that should've cut my lips open. Instead, his fangs slid gently against my skin, ever so gently to avoid bleeding me. I felt him turning us over until I was on my back and instantly my hunger was doused with cold water.

"No!" I cursed, struggling to push him off me, but Lucifer caught me against him, holding me tight. I panted, moaning as he continued to piston his hips against me. I wanted to move. I hated this position. I hated being on my back, but it was difficult to fight the blinding pleasure of it sliding into me. I trembled, sinking my nails into Lucifer's back.

"Stop." I managed. Lucifer sank his hand into my hair, cradling the back of my head so my face was against his throat.

"You're okay, Hades."

"I'm not okay," I groaned breathlessly, "I'm not."

"You're okay." Lucifer repeated. His words were more than just a comfort to the position. For some reason, it snapped something inside me and I choked, my nails biting harder into his skin.

"I'm not okay." I managed. Lucifer pressed his lips against the space behind my ear.

"You're okay." He whispered. Release hit me like a rocket going off inside me. I gasped and threw my head back from the force of it, moaning aloud. Lucifer clutched me to him tightly, stunning me as he waited until I was finished before he let himself go.

A moment later, I was laying on my side, frowning at the floor as I hung almost halfway off the bed. Lucifer leaned over me, ruffling my hair, making me glare at him as he climbed over me to get out of bed. His red eyes had returned back to normal, those creepy elongated fangs gone. He was back to his clean cut self. I narrowed my eyes at his naked backside as he made for the bathroom.

"I'll be in the shower. Don't fall asleep." He added. I rolled my eyes. As if I could sleep now with all the unnecessary thoughts he'd given me. What the hell was that? Who did he think he was? He tricked me; that's what that was. He'd tricked me into having sex with him by getting me drunk. Then he'd tricked me into admitting something I'd never admitted to anyone.

You're okay, Hades.

Not anymore, I'm not, asshole. I wanted to switch his shampoo bottle with hair dye, watch the almight Lucifer stalk the realm of Hell with hot pink hair. Instead, I laid in the bed, lazily glaring at the floor when a strange sensation crept up my spine. I blinked and propped myself up on my elbow. It was almost like I could hear something. Something wasn't right. Something was wrong. It was the same sensation I'd gotten a hundred times before I knew exactly what it indicated.

I threw the blankets back, snatched up my pants, climbing into them as I made my way out into the hallway where I heard the sound of someone screaming. I bolted down the hallway, all the way down to Theo's room, threw the door open and saw him writhing on the bed.

Alone.

I cursed and turned the lights on, but it did nothing to wake Theo from the attack on his dream. I ran to the bed and threw the covers back, hissing at the sight of blood oozing from claw marks on his naked chest and arms. I grabbed him by the wrist and jerked him up into my lap, grabbing at his face.

"Theo, open your eyes! Wake up!" I commanded. He wasn't waking up, just writhing and crying out in agony. Another long bloody gash tore its way up the center of his chest and he threw his head back in agony. I did the only thing I could think of. I hoisted him up into my arms and carried him to the bathroom, stepping into the shower case and turning on the ice cold water, sliding down the wall so I was sitting down and Theo was cradled in my lap.

He woke up a moment later, sputtering and trembling. He looked around bewildered until he saw me staring down at him.

"H-Hades? W-What--"

"You fell asleep." I stated. Theo squeezed his eyes shut, cursing under his breath.

"Where the hell was your Egyptian?" I demanded. Theo clenched his teeth and started to lift himself up off me, but I held him down again, gesturing to his wounds. He shuddered and looked away. I laid my hands over the gashes and sent in magic to heal the damages, making him clench his fists and tremble.

"S-Sept... went into town... drinking with the guys."

"I didn't see him leave."

"He w-went after. W-Why is the water s-so cold?"

"To wake you up. I'll turn it off in a bit." I muttered, keeping my hands on his chest to continue healing the wounds. Theo swallowed a few times, tilting his head up to stare at the ceiling before blinking in confusion and looking at me.

"H-How did you f-find me?" He asked.

"I forgot to tell you have I super sonic hearing abilities. Stop talking. Your internal organs were damaged. The fact that you're still breathing is a miracle. Damn it, Theo, when someone tells you to do something, would you just friggin' listen for once in your life? Christ." I snapped. Theo grimaced, but said nothing more. If anything, he just closed his eyes and rested his head against my shoulder as I continued to heal the damage.

"Thanks... I guess." Theo mumbled. Now I was confused.

"Uh... You're welcome... I think."
