Three months have passed since the battle. The Elite Six were now working officially for Zadavia and with the loonatics. The atmosphere between the two teams were tense but some made effort to shine a light on whatever is left.

*Duck & Joy*

"I said I was sorry, why can't you just accept it"

Joy said in frustration as Duck was completely ignoring her.

"Sure, whatever helps you sleep at night"

He said rolling his eyes as he continues to surf the channels.

"So just tell me now because I am tired of wasting my time and breathe on you, if you're not going to give me a chance"

"Whatever"

He said plainly. Joy let out a growl.

"Do you still love me?"

She asked angrily. Duck remained quiet causing Joy to let out a sad sigh as she took his silence as a 'no' and walked away from him. Duck sadly watched her walk away but remain in place as his heart sank more and more.

*Lexi & Alex*

Lexi let out a sigh as she watched Alex sitting outside by himself looking out to the city.

"Hey"

She said quietly hoping not to scare him but Alex didn't even flinch.

"We haven't spoken to each other lately and I was wondering if you want to say anything that's on your mind"

She asked sitting beside him. Alex sadly looked to her giving her a half smile.

"Everyone is scared to talk to each other now, not knowing if they will get stab in the back again"

He said quietly. Lexi sadly smiled.

"I was wondering since now that everything is out in the open, I don't want secrets between us anymore. I want us to try and start over again, if you still want me because honestly I still want you"

She said hoping Alex would give their relationship a chance. Alex looked to her in surprise but sadly shook his head.

"I'm sorry, you're such a good girl that I had no right to hurt you and I don't want to hurt you again"

Lexi sadly frown.

"Sounds like you're trying to make up an excuse, why can't we just..."

"Because I can't"

"Why?"

"Because my family. I still mourn for them, my wife and my kids. I don't want to go threw this pain again. I'm sorry Lexi, I just can't"

Alex said sadly. Lexi sadly understood and decided to leave him alone.

*Tech & Ivy*

"You would have done the same thing if you were in my position"

"Okay"

"I'm sorry that I hurt you when all you did was showed me that you love me"

"Sorry that you did it or sorry that you got caught"

Tech said finally looking up to Ivy from his side project. Ivy sadly closed her eyes.

"You have every right to be mad at me"

"You're damn right I do"

He said angrily as he stood up from his chair slightly hovering over with his arms crossed over his chest Ivy who stand her ground.

"I just only have one question to ask you, at some point of our relationship did you ever truly love me?"

He asked seriously as Ivy looked into his eyes.

"I do love you and if I have to spend the rest of my life begging for you then I would spend eternity on my knees because at the end of the day I want you and only you"

Tech tried to bring down his blush as he shyly looked to Ivy.

"So do you want to try again, for real this time?"

He asked. Ivy smiled as she was on the verge of tears.

"Yes"

Tech nodded and before he could say anything else, Ivy embraced him in a tight hug.

"Thank you"

She whispered softly with a smile.

*Rev & Kat*

Kat let out a sigh as she knocked on Rev's door. The door immediately open to show Rev looking at her in surprise.

"What-can-I-do-for-you?"

He asked with his head slightly down refusing to make eye contact. Kat looked to him sadly.

"Can-we-talk?"

She asked quietly. Rev nodded as he let her in his room. Kat remained standing while Rev went to sit on the edge of his bed.

"I'm-listening"

He said quietly as he waited patiently for Kat to speak up.

"I-don't-know-where-to-start"

"How-about-saying-sorry?"

"But-saying-sorry-isn't-going-to-fix-all-of-this, I....I-let-you-down, I-betrayed-you, I....what I'm-trying-to-say-is-that-I'm-not-good-enough-for-you-and-you-deserve-better"

She said before breaking down in tears. Rev sadly stood up as he brought her into a hug.

"Hey-come-on,-don't-be-so-hard-on-yourself"

"But-aren't-you-mad-at-me"

Rev shrugged slightly.

"Anyone-can-hold-a-grudge-but-it-takes-great-courage-to-forgive"

"Do-you-really-mean-that?

"I-wouldn't-have-said-it-if-it-wasn't-true"

"So-we-can-try-again?"

"Yes"

*Ace & Lacey*

Lacey stand aside as she watched Ace practice his fighting skills and couldn't help but sadly smiled at his determination finishing off the last robot. Ace send Lacey a smirk as he grabbed his towel placing it over his shoulder.

"Hey"

"Hey"

She said nervously. Ace walked up to her since he had a feeling she wanted to talk.

"I know you probably think I'm a villain"

She said sadly with her head down. Ace sadly smiled at her before gently placing a hand on her shoulder.

"No you were never a villain to begin with, not even a little, your just a pretty lady that had no way out"

"You think so?"

She asked looking up at him.

"I know so"

"But aren't you upset that I betrayed you?"

She asked. Ace smiled at her kindly.

"Well yeah, the saddest thing about betrayal is that it never comes from your enemies, it comes from those you trust the most"

He said softly causing Lacey to sadly looked down.

"But..."

He said getting her attention once again.

"Trusting you is my decision and proving me wrong is your choice and so far from what I've seen, you haven't proved me wrong"

He said with a smile causing Lacey to smile at him.

"So together?"

She said excitedly. Ace smiled at her giving her a small kiss on the lips.

"Together"

He said.
