It started out on a hot summer day in Acmetropolis, probably the hottest day in record, triple digits and climbing!

But then, a bank is robbed by Ophiuchus Sam.

Ophiuchus Sam: Yeehaw! Nothing like a good ol robbery makes me feel better!

He gets on his robo donkey to escape

But then...

Rip: Not so fast!

Diego: Hola, mr bandit!

Ophiuchus Sam: Out of m way, rat and the blue chicken! Or y'all be blown outta my way, ya varmin!

Rip: Sure! *jumps and fires electric balls at him*

Ophiuchus Sam: *shoots at the balls but it does nothing* Giddyup!

the robo donkey takes off with Sam

Rip: Drat! Let's get after him!

Diego: No problemo! Arriba! Arriba! Arriba! *runs after him in full speed*

Rip: W-wha- hey! Wait for me, dammit! *activates his jetpack and takes off after them*

Ophiuchus Sam: I'm rich! I'm finally rich!

Diego: *dashes next to him* Wouldn't think so soon, amigo

Ophiuchus Sam: Out of the road, rat! *tries to shoot*

Diego: *slows down to dodge, pulls out his rifle and sets it to stun mode* Now hold still!

Rip: *from his jetpack* Just don't miss, kid!

Diego: I never do! I got sharp vision remember?

Rip: *suddenly sees Gorlop trying to help an old lady cross the road* Oh crap! Look out!

Diego: Whoa!! *dashes around them, avoiding them* Phew

Old lady: Do you hear something?

Gorlop: Nope, don't think so

Rip: hey, Sam!

Ophiuchus Sam: What, blue chicken!? 

Rip: How bout a nice shock to get your little brain cells working! *Shoots a bolt*

and it electrocutes Ophiuchus Sam

The robo donkey also was shocked and came to a sudden stop which flung Sam

Ophiuchus Sam: AAAAH!!

Nearby, a mother cobra Toon just nursing her baby

Cobra toon: Oh, you've been eating a lot! You cute little bundle of venom.

Then, she sees Sam flying towards her.

Sam: AAAAH!!

Cobra toon: AAAAH!! *slithers away*

Diego: Hold on! *dashes and helps push the mother and baby cobras away*

and Sam crashes to a trash bin

Rip: *lands with his arms crossed* You just HAD to cause trouble while we were enjoying this hot day out?

Diego: You okay madam?

Cobra toon: Oh thank you

Diego: Least we can do

Then, the police arrived, Percy Puma gets out of his car.

Percy: You are under arrest!

Ophiuchus Sam: Aw..darn....

Then, the police takes him away.

Rip: Mission accomplished!

Diego: Yeah...dios mio! *removes his hat and fans himself with it* This heatwave ain't letting up

Rip: Race back to the headquarters? *engages his jetpack*

Diego: You got it!

but as they raced away, out in the ocean, a massive iceberg emerged heading to the city

Sea creatures swam away from the ice berg.

many fled into panic as the iceberg begun freezing the whole city, many were frozen and buildings were becoming covered in ice, as the ice wave begun spreading across the city, the Loonatics Tower remained unharmed at the moment

Inside the tower, The Loonatics are just having their free time.

Tech: *takes a bite of the pizza Rev had bought* Ugh! It's frozen!

Rev: Well, it is a frozen pizza!

Tech: But we asked for an extra crispy?

Rev: Huh, should've thought of that

Tris: Somethings bugging me

Tech: What is it, Tris?

Tris: Sonic and Zero seems to be eating less...sleeping a lot...and not basking. Reptiles love to bask, right?

Rev: You mean their still asleep? On this hot day? It's over 100 degrees outside!

Ace: Well, reptiles love to bask

Sonic: *yawns and slithers inside, still tired*

Rev: You good, Sonic?

Sonic: Fine, still tired *goes to the fridge and grabs a one piece of pie and eats it and went back to sleep*

Zero: *came inside and grabs one piece of pie and went back to sleep*

Tris: Guys?

Zero: Hm?

Tris: It's the middle of summer...

Sonic: Really? Why do we feel so tired?

Lexi: Don't know.... *sees trees freezing up* What the?

Sapphire: *enters wearing a towel on her head and body* Okay, who messed with the water??

Diego: *sees her* Ooh la la!

Sapphire: *hits him with diamonds*

Diego: *gets hit* Aye! *crashes to the living room*

Ace: What are you talking about?

Rip: When me and Diego raced back home we found the whole place freezing up from a giant iceberg--

Tech: Iceberg?? What iceberg?

Diego: *gets up* Ouch...An iceberg that emerged from the ocean, Tech

Sonic: *yawns* What's an iceberg doing there?

Ace: I don't know, but the whole city's freezing up because of it, Tech. We'll need some toys to melt this icecube!

Tech: They're not "toys" Their scientific instruments

Ace: Toys. Scientific instruments. Whatever, let's just go! Let's Jet!

The Loonatics equip themselves with Tech's Retrofire MasterBlasers which would alow them to thaw the ice, got into their outfits and prepared to launch

Ace: Alright, let's--

Tris: Wait!

Ace: Sup, Tris?

Tris: Where's Sonic and Zero?

In the living room, Sonic and Zero are still snoozing.

Diego walked in looking for them and saw them

Diego:...YEEHAW!!!

Sonic: *jumps in surprise but still looked tired* Wha? What's the kalooka?

Diego: We got a city to unthaw and you guys are still here sleeping!

Zero: Right...right *yawns* On our way...

The team continue waiting, til Rico arrives with Sonic and Zero in their outfit

Sonic: Let's...go...

the team take off on their jetpacks

Everyone watches Acmetropolis starts to frozen.

Woman: Our city's freezing!

Mongoose Toon: Here are the Loonatics! *points them*

Duck: We got this!

Ace: Everyone, here are some blankets to keep warm

Tris: And some hot water too *creates a large body of water with Duck heating it up*

Rip: I'll try to get the power grid back on *opens a nearby generator and powers it with his electricity*

Man: Thank you, now how to stop this before the city becomes a frozen wasteland?

Duck: Right, sorry

Tech: Easy, we use our blasters to thaw the ice, let's go

Then, they turn on their blasters and melt the ice. overtime despite the heated blasters, it didn't melt the iceberg

Ace: Okay, cease fire!

Rev: It didn't melt!

Zero: Let me..push it *uses his power to push the iceberg but due to his lack of sleep, his powers has less strength.*

Ace: Sonic, maybe your Sonic scream could make it shatter

Sonic: *yawns* Okay...*inhales and does a very weak yell* aaahh....*inhales but still only let out a weak yell* aaaah....

Then he yawns, also turning it into a sonic yawn

Ace:...Okay, Rev, Slam. You two are up!

Slam: Ace got it! *does what he says*

Rev: On it! *dashes*

together they combine their speed and tornado into a superheated tornado which melts the icecube and raises the current day's temperature back to normal

Then, the iceberg finally melted. the temperature was back to over 100 degrees

Ace: Superheroes 1, mother nature none!

they land

Rev: We did it! This was too easy!

Surprisingly, Sonic and Zero are now energetic like usual.

Sonic: Amazing! High five! Don't leave me hanging

Zero: Man *clicks neck* Feel better already! *high fives Sonic*

Rip: Dudes, you're just tired a minute ago

Tech: Rip, Reptiles can't stand the cold to well, ending up sleepy during the day, it's called brumation, a hibernation for reptiles

Lexi: *her sonic hearing activates hearing something* Guys?

Ace: Yeah?

Lexi: I'm picking up something!

Sapphire: What is it?

the ground shakes as the smaller iceberg shatters, revealing a large robotic viking warship

Diego: What the heck is that!? 

the large door opens and a group of robotic viking warriors appear

Ace: Boy are you guys lost!

Robotic Viking Leader: No. I am here to conquer this planet for I am, Gunnar! Leader of Galactic Vikings! 

Ace: Gunnar? Gonna what? Go to a Viking convention at the mall?

Gunnar: No, you puny rabbit! We are here to CONQUER your world!

Sonic: I think you guys might as well go home, this is a no invasion zone. We've done that so long ago, pal

Gunnar: We will conquer your world by any means necessary!

Ace: No you won't

Gunnar: Yes I will

Ace: No you won't!

Gunnar: Yes I will!

Ace: Yes you will!

Gunnar: No I won't!

Ace: Have it your way, doc

Gunnar: You're right. I'm not gonna conquer this planet.

He turns to leave but then, realization hits his head.

Gunnar: You'll pay for this, rabbit! *attacks him*

the other vikings follow suit

Slam: Let's smash robots!

Rip: Alright!

Gunnar: *raises his sword at Ace* You will end!

Ace: Keep dreaming, big fella *fires his laser vision*

Zero: *Makes a lure gesture at one of the vikings*

Viking: Let's dance, little lizard *raises his battle axe*

Zero: I don't dance, i break bad guys *punches him with a gravity punch*

Viking: Ugh!

Sonic: Heard girl vikings have powerful singing voices but not as powerful as me!

his eyes glow cyan and unleash a Sonic scream

Sonic: AAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!

The force pushes the squad of vikings back while Gunnar still tussles with Ace

Gunnar: Hold still, rat! *he presses a button on his sword which activates it's ice power* Time to CHILL OUT!! *shoots at Ace*

Ace: Woah! *uses laser vision in a beam struggle*

Gunnar: *in the beam struggle* Put them on ice!

Ace: WHAT!?

two of the vikings slam their cryo-charged hammers down which forms a slide of ice that made Ace slip until the Loonatics arrive to help him up

Lexi: Ace!

Sonic: Woah...it's freezing...I'm...I'm a bit sleepy though

the other vikings surround the 12 with their weapons charged

Tech: Their weapons seem to be charged with a subzero hypothermal liquid solidification energy that when fired can freeze--

Ace: *Still firing his laser vision* Yeah, we got that part figured out!!

The vikings fire their ice beams at the team which fully encases them in ice

Gunnar: Let's put this city on ICE!! HAHAHAHA!!!

Gunnar and the rest of the vikings run off, leaving the ice block of heroes behind

Duck suddenly teleports out, extremely cold

Duck: Holy feathers! I'm so cold! But i'm out at least...Now, I'm gonna bring these bozos back to HQ

he faces the frozen ice cube of his friends, his arms glow orange ready for his fire ability

Duck: Gonna bust you out

he shoots a fire beam at the ice block which completely thaws out the Loonatics

Diego: Freedom!

Tris: ACHOO! *clutches herself* T-T-thanks, Duck!

Sonic and Zero: *snoozing*

Rip: *gives them both a small shock*

Sonic and Zero: Ah!

Sonic: Wh-What time is it?

Ace: Time we get back out there and go after these guys

Lexi: We can't. It's too cold. And Sonic and Zero are on their brum-whatever the hell that is

Tech: *hugging himself as it was cold* I got something that could help us, let's get back to HQ

Duck: Great idea!

Sapphire: How come you look okay?

Duck: *holds his hand out showing a flame* Fire powers, Saph I'm warm

they arrive back at HQ

Tech: *Pulls one of his new inventions out* XE Bionic Armor, built to help keep warm in icy environments

Ace: Great

but then the computer blinks

Zero: Sounds like Zadavia's calling *yawns* I'm gonna reply

he presses the button which shows a hologram of Zadavia

Zadavia: Loonatics!

Ace: Hi Z

Zadavia: I believe you learnt these are no ordinary vikings...

Diego: They didn't even sound Scandinavian

Sonic: They're ice...*snoozing*

Rev: *To Zadavia* Brumation...because of the cold these vikings are making

Zadavia: Brumation?

Tech: Let's not get off topic, what about these vikings?

Zadavia: The iceberg slipped through one of the inter-dimensional portals that opened after the meteor hit, these vikings must've been trapped inside during an ice storm in their dimension..now that their here in Acmetropolis.

Ace: They can freeze our world to make it easier to conquer! And make my two of my friends sleepy...so what's the plan, Z?

Zadavia: Stop them, they are heading for the city's power grid, if they freeze it, the planet will be a frozen wasteland

Zero: *yawns* With Tech's armor, we shouldn't get too cold...

Sonic: *cranky* Give me that blasted armour

The Loonatics equip the cold resistant armor

Zadavia: Good luck Loonatics, Zadavia *out the message ends*

Ace: Now, let's Jet!

they leave the tower and head for the central grid

Zero: Tech, this armor works a treat

Sonic: Yeah! I felt alive!

Sapphire: When we take care of these vikings, whaddya say we all go to the beach?

Diego: Sure why not. It'll be good *wiggles his eyebrows at her*

Sapphire: *Facepalms*

at the central grid

Gunnar: *raises his sword to break the barrier* Victory is at hand, brethren together, this planet will be ours!

Lexi: Not so fast, boys!

Gunnar: What!?

The vikings turn to face the Loonatics in their XE Armor

Ace: Come on fellas, let's just be civil here eh?

Gunnar: You won't stop us from creating a new Ice Age!

Ace: Guess not, attack!

The Loonatics attack the vikings

Diego: *loads his rifle* Hola, Mr Viking!

Viking: Oh look a mouse. This is easy

Diego: *aims his rifle with incendiary bullets* No es probable, amigo(Not likely, buddy) *fires*

it hits the viking directly in the head, destroying it

Tech: Their power comes from the horns in their helmets, aim for the head! *shoots magnetic power at another*

Sonic: *jumps on their heads* Heyo! Ahem *Sonic scream* HEYOOO!!! HOW'S IT GOING!?

Viking: AARGHH!! *head explodes*

Sonic: Guess they're introverts

Tris: *shoots water at one of them*

Viking: Fool! *shoots ice at her water beam*

Tris: *struggling* Guess i slept through that part in school about water and ice...!

Duck: Gotcha Tris! *uses heat beam to break her free*

Viking: No!

Ace: *clashes the Guardian Strike Sword with Gunnar's* Good sword skills, doc. Ain't gonna help ya!

Gunnar: Yeah right, you can't stop me! You're just a rabbit

Ace: A rabbit with cosmic powers and a cosmic powered sword *swings his sword*

Gunnar: *crashes down* Ugh!!

Zero: *tossing Vikings in the air with his telekinesis* This Viking is going to the supermarket *throws him to a garbage truck* This Viking is going swimming *throws another one to the fountain* and This Viking went flying...*throws him in the air* in the sky!

Sapphire: This one got a crystal to the knee! *tosses a quartz into of the knees* And then the helmet! *launches one at the head*

Rev: *kicking his back* How you like your massage rough?

Viking: *tries swinging his mace*

Rev: *kicks his mace and then his face*

Slam: *rips through one then another with his tornado*

Zero: If you're messing Acmetropolis, you mess with us!

Gunner: Silence you--!! *Blasted by Ace's laser vision into the core* Arrghhh!!!

Ace: *sighs* Villains always get angry, am I right?

As Gunnar crashed into the power grids core, it obliterated him, the rest of the techno-vikings and restored Acmetropolis' power, ending the icy crisis

Rev: Alright!

Duck: That's what I'm talking about!

Ace: Amazing work, gang!

Later the Loonatics, as Sapphire suggested, went to the beach to celebrate their victory and enjoy the rest of the hot day

Sonic: Ah, nothing like a good basking in the sun makes me feel relaxed

Zero: Indeed, Sonic

Duck: *tosses a beach ball to Tris*

Tris: I got it!

she falls back into her water form and jumps out with the ball in her hands

Duck: Woohoo!

Sapphire: *reading a book, sunbathing*

Diego: Ooh! Hola princesa

Sapphire: *sighs, lifting her hat up* Sup, Diego?

Diego: You looking fine!

Sapphire: First a skunk, now a rat

Diego: Mouse, señorita

Sapphire: I could eat you if you don't stop cat calling me and I'm not joking

Diego: *just chuckles* It's not the 21st century, plus we're not descendants of that cat or mouse...what were their names?.. Dom and Terry?

Ace: Guys! Zadavia's calling! *answers her call*

the team gathers round the hologram Ace was holding

Zadavia: Congratulations, another job well done Loonatics

Ace: Thanks Z

Rev: We're just chilling by the beach, cuz man. Today is SCORCHIN!

Sonic: Yeah, kinda too hot for me and Zero

Zero: Still, good for basking

Sonic: I agree

Zadavia: Well, Loonatics, I hope you are enjoying the rest of the day, Zadavia out

Ace: We will

Lexi: *sits up from her chair* So! Who's up for some ice cream?

Sonic: Me! My back is hot

Zero:...You didn't need to say it like that

Sonic: What? I'm burning

Ace: C'mon guys, let's go

The team agree and head up together to get some ice cream, ending the first episode of the third season
