As the weeks went on I still wasn't talking to Sarah, and things with Trystan's dad and everything, was getting better. At least I thought it was getting better.

Apparently it wasn't though, according to Trystan, he told me how his dad was demanding he come stay at his house and Trystan didn't want to. He mentioned that his mum was dealing with it, but I didn't know what to think.

I was started to get scared of what his dad may do.

Apparently he was also trying to get Trystan and his mum to go to court so he can have custody of Trystan. I wouldn't let that happen, I couldn't let it happen, that man was too dangerous.

At lunch time we decided to go for a coffee together, Trystan wanted to explain properly what was happening with his dad since he kind of didn't get to explain properly about what was actually going on and the whole situation in general.

When we got to the shop Trystan told me to go sit down while he got the drinks and despite my protests he wouldn't give in. I sighed and sat down at a table, waiting for Trystan.

While I was waiting for Trystan a man walked in. A man that looked very similar to Trystan. I swallowed hard it only could mean one thing.

It was Trystan's father. But the man didn't come near me, and he didn't seem to see Trystan, I found it strange and mysterious and I was in a way scared.

When Trystan sat down the man still didn't come near us, I furrowed my eyebrows before shaking my head saying to myself that I must be imagining things.

Trystan saw that I looked distracted and frowned, "babe what is it?"

I swallowed. "I think your dad is here, but the strangest thing is, he's not coming near us."

Trystan turned around to see the man and said, "That isn't my dad, but he does look like me."

"That's scary." I mumbled, "can we please leave, I'm just finding this too creepy." I said.

He nodded kissing my head, "come on we can finish this on the way back to college." He put his arm around my back, holding me tightly as I put my arm around his waist at the same time.

As we walked past the man finally said something, "excuse me?" He asked.

We turned around, speechless not knowing what to say.

Trystan then stepped in front of me to protect you, "who the fuck are you and what the hell do you want?!" He exclaimed.

The man or rather boy as I now realised sighed. "I'm your brother Trystan, I only found out a couple of weeks ago and I finally found you, I wasn't sure if it was or not."

"I don't have any siblings," he replied and he was telling the truth.

"Yes, you do, you just didn't know because our parents kept it a secret from you, they didn't want you to know about me because they were ashamed." The boy replied, "I'm Kyle, the reason why our parents didn't want you to know is that I'm your half brother, my father is your father."

Now it was my turn to frown, "if you've had anything to do with your father than you would know to stay away from us. He's a monster, do you know what Trystan had to go through for years because of him? Never allowed to leave because he had custody, or rather more custody than his mother." I explained, but the boy looked at me as if he had no idea what I was talking about it, which I didn't buy for a second. "If you're smart you'll stay away if you know what's good for you. Let's go Trystan."

"Yeah, yeah let's go," he said before holding me tightly and with that we walked off, going back to college.

After we got back to College I realised Trystan had been very quite, and I frowned because of it.

"Trys," I said carefully, "are you okay?" I touched his shoulder and he snapped out whatever trance he was in.

"What?" He asked then looked at me, "yeah 'course I'm fine, honestly."

"You're not thinking about what he was saying are you? About you and him being half brothers?"

"No of course not, but it could be possible, I mean I remember my mum used to talk about certain things when mentioning my father,"

"What about?"

"How he was a cheating scumbag, at least she told me that when I was around fourteen. I just never realised I could actually have a half brother. Now that this could be true, I'm scared. What if he's like him?"

"If he is your half brother, and if he is then you know not to go near him, it's as simple as that. He doesn't seem all that, you know, nice. It was creepy, him following you about." I said, "suspicious and mysterious even."

"So he could be lying and something like working for him to find out what I'm up to, who my friends are, who I love..." He trailed off.

"Trystan if anything happens, I can look after myself."

"But-but what if he hurts you, it'll be my fault."

"How many times do I have to tell you?" I asked him, "it is not going to be your fault it'll be his, I know if he goes after me it'll be because he's trying to hurt you, but I'd rather get hurt than see you get hurt by your own father." I said, "I love you too much to see you hurt like that, you know that."

"I know but I don't want you to get hurt either," he cupped my cheek and leaned into to kiss me, "I love you so much."

I smiled, taking his hand from my cheek and kissing the palm affectionately, "I know you do, I love you too, we can find out what he's up to, if he's doing something like working for your dad, but we have to be discreet."

"And we have to go after college?" He asked.

"Nope, we can go now, it's time I live on the edge, time I take a leap of faith, and do something I may regret. Now let's go before anyone sees us." I smirked at him and pulled him towards the entrance to college, but he stopped us and pulled us both into a closet.

"A closet, really? What were you trying to achieve by being in here."

"I thought I could, reward you?" He suggested, "or maybe punish." He said, "you being a naughty girl after all."

"Are you seriously trying to do this in college, I may do this once but there is never the time to do anything like that at college. Safer to be kept in a bedroom, at least it's comfortable that way."

"You're thinking about comfortable?" He asked.

"And sometimes romantic, come on! You know I live for romance, and you will never see me admitting to or even doing anything in a closet. A broom closet. We're not fictional characters you know."

"Fictional characters did it in a broom closet."

"A certain couple did, yes. Not that I actually shipped them, but still a broom closet," I rolled my eyes, "must have been so much fun that they thought it was good to do it in a broom closet of all places."

"It's pretty funny." He snickered.

"Not the point now let's go before something happens," I said starting to leave, but Trystan pulled me back.

"I just brought you in here to do this," he said as he leaned down and kissed me. It was so passionate, that I felt like I was flying. I sighed through the kiss and giggled.

"Come on," I said, pulling away, "let's go."

And with that we went off, to find out what Trystan's supposed 'half brother' was up to.

**
We arrived at the café where he was before and sure enough he was still there, but he was on the phone. I looked at Trystan, worried. Luckily he had his back to us so he didn't see us.

We decided to sit as close to him as possible without being seen so we could listen to who he was talking to.

"No I lost them father. Yes I told them. I have no other information, they believed me when I told them about being his half brother. Well I couldn't tell them now could I? Yes father, good-bye." He hung up the phone and we just stared at one another before getting up to leave.

As we were leaving I tripped on a chair, making him turn around, seeing us. Instead of acting pissed, he just smiled.

"I thought you went back to college?" He asked.

"We did," I said, "but then we weren't feeling well and Trystan suggested coffee to give us a bit more energy, you know?" I asked.

"Hmm..." He trailed off, "I guess you do look a bit peaky." He said, "trys, on the other-"

"Don't call me that!" Trystan snapped.

"Sorry, I just thought-"

"I don't care what you thought, just stay away from us." He put his arm around me and we left the café once again.

After we got out, I pushed away from him, "well done Trystan, you just blew our cover."

"He was onto us, I didn't want you to get hurt."

"I know Trystan!" I exclaimed. "But now he knows that we're onto him and he's going to come after us!" I sighed, "I need to go back to college, I need to think about something else and I don't want to miss anything." I mumbled, before rushing off leaving Trystan behind.

As I was driving home (yes I could drive now after finally passing my theory and practical) I saw something strange in the corner of my eye, so I pulled up on the side of the road to go check it out.

I was walking towards it, it being down a narrow dark lane, which I probably should've known not to go down, but I did anyway, when I felt a hand go over my mouth and grab me by the waist before I was blindfolded having no idea what the hell was going on.

I was then knocked out by what the person gave me and I didn't wake up until... Well I don't know when, but it was until I saw someone in front of me, who looked like Trystan, but wasn't... It was his half-brother— or his whatever brother— Kyle I swallowed as I saw him, I tried to speak but I couldn't get the words out, I was too petrified.

"You're probably wondering why I kidnapped you?" He asked, but it was clearly rhetorical, so I just nodded. He smirked at me and lifted up my chin, "I have no idea what my brother sees in a filthy bitch like you, or should I say slut!" He said, "probably because you're easy as soon as he doesn't want you he'll dump you," he clicked his fingers, "just like that," then he cackled.

Then I finally got the bravery to speak up, "who have you been speaking too?" I asked him carefully, "was it my ex, because he knows nothing, he's a psychopath, just like you, just like your father."

That's when another man appeared from the shadows, "you filthy bitch!" The man said and slapped me hard in the face, then grabbed my face, "you dare talk to or about me like that? You think you're going to get away with that you fucking bitch?"

I spit in his face, "yes, I do!" I screamed, managing to lift my leg up to kick him in the balls. "You are a fucking psychopath! Leave me and Trystan — your son — alone!"

He was about to speak up when someone else did, "you heard her, leave her alone," a boy said —Trystan— I looked up at him and smiled, before I saw someone I never thought I'd ever see again.

I saw Sarah standing behind Trystan.
